    We ordered our 36” dual fuel with griddle back on April 3, 21. First we were told sept, or oct, then Nov. 30th, then Dec. 15, now it is March! Our remodel was finished a few weeks ago, I am so thankful to the appliance store to lend us an oven to use until ours arrives, I can’t wait! We are loving our sub-zero fridge! We received that a few weeks ago.

    Fantastic! I’ve been searching for a review on the new 2021 dual fuel model. We’re a few weeks away from ours…can’t wait! Thanks for posting this informative review!

    We got a 48 all gas over 15 years ago never had one problem! It doesn't have any electronic screens or fancy wifi...it just works like a champion. We already know that our next house (in design stage now) will have a 48" all gas with 4 burners and a double griddle.

    Ordered a 48” Wolf duel fuel with griddle in February of 2021, still do not have it in March of 2022 and was just told this week that it will now be April at the earliest. Major kitchen renovation was finished back in November of 2021. All the other appliances were ordered at the same time and also were delayed, but they did arrive by October / November (except for the Wolf range).

    I've been waiting for my wolf range since March. I can't wait until it finally arrives!! Is there a chance that I would be getting this new model? I'm so excited to start cooking again!!

    If my friends knew I watched and really enjoyed this informative video they'd check me for COVID. I love the industrial look that's what gives it that pop IMO. Let's face it if I can set it and forget it that's 2 thumbs up. By the way I'm not a chef and hate to cook, but this puppy could make me love the art of culinary cooking. My new home will have a Wolf regardless of it's use. Does Wolf make an indoor coal fire pizza oven?

    Great video! What’s the model # for the 36” range? Would love to know if the new LCD screen comes standard on all newer models

    • @DesignerAppliances
      @DesignerAppliances  2 роки тому +2

      Yes all new Wolf dual fuel ranges have the new lcd screen. There’s a bunch of different configurations of the 36” model, but as an example the old model # for the 36” with 6 burners was DF366 (df = dual fuel, 36 = 36” width, 6 = 6 burners) and the new model number is DF36650SP. The 50 in the model number tells you this is the new version. Hmmm, I’m not sure what the S and P stand for at the end… but guessing stainless and pro handle? I’m hoping they put that in to open up the possibility of colors and different hardware in the future, I guess we’ll see!

    I'm really torn between the 48" Wolf dual fuel oven w/the griddle or the 48" range top w/the M Professional built in double oven. Building a new house so I can go either way at this point. On paper it looks like the double oven provides more space?

    I ordered the 48” propane dual fuel in July 2021. They told us 8 months, then in March 2022 they told us August 2022. Here we are and now they’re saying maybe January 2023. Our house took a while longer to build than scheduled because if material shortages and sun contractors not showing. I’m still skeptical after 1 1/2 years of waiting.

      No updates yet. The insulation that is used in Sub-Zero refrigeration and Wolf dual-fuel ranges is in short supply. Now, resin is going to be an issue and could push out your current lead time.

    Question - what are advantages and disadvantages of getting a range vs getting a double oven and a cooktop with 4 burners and a cooktop? If I were to renovate my kitchen, I don't know which I would do, but trying to educate myself.

    • @supreemproductions
      @supreemproductions Рік тому +4

      Great question! As an appliance salesman for the past decade, I’d recommend a rangetop and a double oven over a range.
      A rangetop is like a cooktop but it’s taller and has the controls in the front like a range, but it doesn’t have an oven underneath it. This allows you to have the power and versatility of range, and you don’t have to sacrifice the amount of undercounter space that a range would.
      99.5% of wall ovens are electric which is a more consistent and reliable heat, great for baking. It also gives you more space than 60” range would for almost half the price, and you don’t have to bend over to pull things out of the oven.
      Sometimes people don’t have the wall space to have a double oven, and in that case a range would be more ideal. Electric ovens are more reliable and when you can separate them from the cooktop/rangetop you have more flexibility and reliability

    Can I purchase new wolf grates ?

  • @TheTrulyUglyPotato

    Bought the Wolf dual fuel 30in range a year ago. Worst oven we've owned. The burners make a whistling sound. The oven fan runs for over an hour after oven is turned off. User interface is totally confusing. Even simply changing the clock time for daylight savings isn't obvious and requires searching online. Turning the oven light on requires opening the panel, pushing the button, then closing the panel.

    Does the Wolf have a gas and electric owen?

    • @DesignerAppliances
      @DesignerAppliances  Рік тому +1

      A Wolf range can either be all gas (gas on cooktop and gas in oven) or dual fuel (gas on cooktop with an electric oven). Hope that helps!

    I was sold on this range until I found out it doesn't have a self clean feature...As someone who is getting a bit older I cannot imagine being down on my knees trying to clean an oven! At this price range it really needs to be self cleaning or steam cleaning!

    I just bought one, the flames of all burners are very uneven, the oven does not do most of the things it should, even just baking does not bake evenly, two cookie try in the middle of oven one try bakes too much one try not baked enough. Funny….. oven does not bake more than one try at the time

    hhaha 5:23 If you can afford a $15k oven + hood you dont only cook tenderloin or ribeyes once a year. I just got a house and the original 24year old freestanding Whirlpool has been going strong --- and now I'm looking at Wolf's 48" which is more expensive than my used car was in 2015.........

    No! I'd much rather have the old design. They lasted forever. Adding in computer boards and such just means there is more to break much easier. I wouldn't pay for a Wolf with a computer board that controls ANY of the cooking in it.

  • @JH-rk9gd

    I was lucky I guess I ordered 36” dual range and got one, it is nothing like what they say in UA-cam. Uneven flames, uneven hit in the oven, most computers features don’t work. by no means you can bake more than one try of cookie at the time. I am trying all kind of food and Akers and cookies past two months, nothing comes out right.
