size 4 worsted weight yarn ( I used hot pink & white)
total weight both mittens about 100g
5.5mm crochet hook
5mm crochet hook
yarn needle
scissors
Finished project measures approximately:
10.75" cuff to tip, 8.25" around palm of hand

Half Double Crochet Two Together (hdc2tog):
Yarn over (YO), enter your 1st st, YO and pull through,
enter the next st, YO and pull through,
YO and pull through all 4 sts on your hook
with pink yarn and 5.5mm crochet hook:
Round 6:
ch1, hdc2tog around, join with sl st to 1st st (6 sts)
Round 7:
ch1, hdc2tog around join with sl st to 1st st (3 sts)
fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing
