Hello! Yes, if you would like the basket to be larger keep going after round 16. That is the bulk of the work on this basket and it determines it’s overall size. I do not have the instructions written for the whole project anywhere else. I hope that helps! Happy crocheting! 😊🧶

Hi! You’ve got round 5 all set, let’s straighten out 6!😊 Are you starting with 2sc in the first stitch and then a single crochet in the next 4 sts? The repeat is 6 times. It’s a 6 stitch repeat for 6 times, it should equal 36 stitches total. I hope that helps! 😊

Hi! I just grabbed some yarn & a hook to remake this part and see how I can help. I’m still coming out with 10 sts for rows 3 & 4. I’m wondering if in row 3 are you putting a dc in the 1st stitch? (not the space) It does make the right side of your work look like it’s sticking out more. Then the 2dc in the space from the prior row seem really close. But then it ends with 10 sts total. I hope that helps!😊

@ it did! Thanks, I also think I wasn’t counting the chains as dc also that was apart of my issue lol, it’s not often I count the chains as a dc so that was user error lol

Nevermind I saw your size at the end! Thank you excited to make this for my mom’s bible for Christmas! 💗

Hello! My Bible is 9 1/4” tall. To get the extra 1/4” you need I would just add 2 stitches to the 51 I started with. See how that measures up on your Bible. Remember there is a border going around the whole piece which will add onto your width also. I hope that helps! 😊
