Convicting the other three officer’s involved is critical in breaking the blue wall of silence. Police need to know that their inaction when witnessing a crime against the public makes them complicit in the crime itself.

If they are convicted, trust and believe there are thousands more just like them still on the force, this problem won't end until every single current police officer in the country who has multiple complaints against him/her are either terminated or get their duties reduced to desk work and every person that wants to be a police officer is THOROUGHLY screened for psychological issues and goes through at least 7 years of training

I disagree. They are three individuals. Based on your ideas, all those on trial at Nuremburg would have hung. In fact, some were, and others were discharged without conviction.
In my limited knowledge of the three involved, they all acted differently.
I am not happy at them throwing the can at rookies, and thus exonerating the brass. For me, the supervisors were worse. The dispatch person was the overseer and is definitely implicated.
The command chain needs to be investigated in this upcoming trial. Was Chauvin in command? I somehow doubt it.

From what I’ve read, Chauvin had 17 complaints against him. He should have been terminated as a police officer a long time ago.

The moment Floyd said he couldn't breathe was the moment for Thao to break rank and tell Chauvin "That's enough ", and to physically push Chauvin off of Floyd, if need be. It was named in honor of a Black police officer, Cairol Horne who lost her job about 15 years or so for physically stopping a cop who was doing an illegal chokehold on an arrested man. Just last week after fighting alllllll these years, she was able to get not only her pension but all her back pay. She had been less than a year short of retirement. A hometown hero whose actions helped change problematic policing. Hopefully, this is just the first of many states and municipalities coming to terms with the sad fact that police abuse their power and especially with non-whites, such that they pass similar laws.

He avoids saying that George Floyd was saying I can't breath. He was avoiding and skirting around stuff. In the end, he just only cared about himself. So part of his character was showing up in that interview. Shoot, the more he was justifying his actions, the more they were being pointed out like a sore thumb. For instance, they asked, why didn't you just let him sit in the sidewalk like you did before? They asked him, what was your training when it comes to a person in crisis? He said, you talk with them. But when George Floyd was in crisis asking for them to just listen to him, Lane said, we're not going to listen to you because you won't listen to us! Also, he didn't call his supervisor.

The video of Rodney King was the first time many people ever saw it happen, but Rodney King wasn't the first black guy to suffer extreme police brutality.
