Do NOT draw smaller voltages like that from the battery, as it will result in pretty severe unbalancing and could cause an early death of the battery. If you're spectacularly unlucky, it's conceivable it could even cause a fire. You need to have another battery specifically for those motors.

Only part to disagree with is that it's not gonna cause a fire, li-ion just dies when overdischarged, li-po is what combusts into flames

you don’t have to do any mechanical modification ,simply change the ESC to VESC75 , EVEN with the STOCK motor , M365 is capable of reaching more than 60 km/h with 20s batery

Issue is that that's a crappy clone and not an m365, im myself a Mi Essential owner and i went 44kmh on just the stock ESC, on 10s/36v with just different software(SHFW if wondering), only hardware mods at the time was just swapping the battery from the 5.1ah one to a pro 2's 12.4ah one, same voltage
PS : at this point in time it's a 48v beast that goes up to 54kmh on flat ground w/o wind

Is there a reason you use American units rather than metric? You clearly are Dutch, live in the Netherlands, so using km/h, kilograms and the rest of the metric would make more sense for the largest part of the world.

@@ConceptCraftedCreations Sounds awesome. Not sure which design might be better; a regular helicopter (lighter weight but less powerful), or a quad copter (heavier weight, bur more powerful). Maybe a compromise with a dual rotor with contra rotating blades. That would be a simpler design, and could still be done with a single motor. With the blades rotating in opposite directions, the gyroscopic forces would cancel out. A quad copter using four motors would be ambitious and complex, and would cost a lot more to make. Either a regular single rotor helicopter or a dual rotor helicopter using one motor would be the most cost effective since you already have the materials. A dual rotor helicopter with a scooter motor for each rotor would be another option and wouldn't be too cost prohibitive. Food for thought. Be really interesting to see the results.

@@Eidolon1andOnly But a helicopter needs a swash plate system. That would be very complicated. A dual helicopter would also need that. Quadcopters are used so much because they don't need swash plates and are relatively simple because of that.
To use a scooter hub motor with a propeller is a very interesting idea though because it has a lot of torque. That means it can have a very big propeller, which is good, because the bigger the propeller is, the more efficient it gets. (low disc loading => more efficiency)

Tapping into the Battery somewhere in the middle really isnt a good idea. Especially with something that draws power. You'll throw the pack out of balance so charging with balancing takes forever. If the bms can even handle these huge differences.
