As a rule, I prefer my vibe in front of my dirt pedals but I always make sure I have one fuzz in front of the vibe for "that" sound. This is perfect. Plonk it down front of chain. Job done. Lovely stuff as always Andy.
Well you know good gear only represents the gear more accurately. I don’t use EQ in the actual demo portion (there’s using hi-pass involved in the full band mix). I only use one mic and the OX signal to add a little room reverb. I tend to go for less is more so it sounds as true to life as possible. Also playing loud is key.
That was a difficult pedal to fully get-to-know and demo - at least imvho. Not saying that you looked nonplussed but as the demo unfolded, I realised how much you were getting into a very small space of time. Great job sussing out, I think, almost All that this rather “boutique”, unique pedal does! As usual, you da king … And I don’t understand the quip about the channel‘s slow growth. I feel as though I have 1 000 000 “saves” under “Andy’s Pedals” on my list 😄. God bless you and your success … you are everywhere I look …🎸👨🏼⚕️🎸🫶✌️♾️
Outstanding playing, Andy. Simply outstanding, as always. The pedal sounds great too. But I feel you could plug into a one of the land mines my dog leaves in the yard and still sound absolutely amazing.
Sounds amazing. I’d be very interested if it weren’t for two issues: 1. The foot switches are very close together. 2. There are knobs right above each foot switch. WTF? When I see designs like this I have to ask “Did the designer actually use this pedal and, if so, how did they decide that this was an acceptable design?”.
Hey! I was the designer! I swear it works perfectly fine in real world use! The foot switches are much taller than the little knobs, so you never hit them when you stomp the switches! Also, being close together is certainly true, but if you leave a little room on either side of the enclosure on your pedal board, they're easily accessible!
I wear 12’s, and I have his first Vibe, that has the same setup, in a small enclosure. I never had any problems with it. The knobs didn’t move around on me, and it doesn’t require much pressure to turn it on and off.
@@FjordFuzz I have the Uni Vibe, and wanted to say thanks, for replying to me so quickly, when I had a question. Letting me know it was safe to try any expression pedal, regardless of potentiometer. I’ve been using a 10k Mission, and it’s not like a vintage one works, but it does its own really cool thing, and I often use it with a more vintage one, for other songs, or both together. When I used a 50k expression pedal, it did some wild sounds sometimes, while others it would have trouble, but when I went down to 10k one, it seemed to work better.
Andy comes up with more quality jams in a pedal demo than I will in an entire lifetime in the studio.
It’s shameful how slowly this channel is growing. To no fault of Andy, of course. The content is always quality. Bs algorithm….
Blame the lack of a regular upload schedule
@@Maladyhow regular do you think is necessary?
dude i follow channels that upload one video a MONTH, and have way more than one million subscribers...@@Malady
Doesn't that mean we have reached 'peak pedal'? 'Reel DeeLuxe' pedal does a similar and better sounding thing....
I watch often and only just subscribed. Thanks for the nudge

I think fuzz sounds great in front of vibe when there’s overdrive after it all (or a Marshall preferably). Thanks!
That sounds great and you sounds great as usual!
Andy makes everything sound like I need to buy lol. I make everything sound like trash lol
They mix the recording through virtual eq’s, compressors, low and hi pass filters, recorded with cool mics…. It’s not your fault buddy.

Another great review Andy - thx!
Thank you very much!
Oh, imma have to dig out one of the Fenders to do some of that low volume grit thang.
Fjord Fuzz pedals totally have a "sound," in a good way.
That’s a great combo pedal! The vibe is awesome! 😎🎸
Always such good fuzz demos
This sounds so rad!! Love your riffage too🤘🤘

I was getting an Ernie Isley vibe from the opening jam!
Outstanding playing, Andy. Simply outstanding, as always. The pedal sounds great too. But I feel you could plug into a one of the land mines my dog leaves in the yard and still sound absolutely amazing.
Haha thanks so much, glad you dig it!
Andydemos the Album, already 🤙🏻
Great review!
I love you Andy
Sweet sounding pedal. Not quite my bag though. Now if they made one with a muff style fuzz and a flanger I'd be all over it!

Those Univox heads have crazy deep reverb! You could demo that. I had a 1226.
Mine is a bass version, no trem or reverb. I kind of like it better stripped down 👍🏻
@@AndyDemos ah yeah my amp guy said mine was very complicated, but I bought it for ther reverb and it looked cool too. Your's sounds good to me!
Oh the Isley applications
Very true!
Hi Andy. Great demo as always! Do you think there's any chance of Boss doing a Waza version of their FZ-2?
Thank you! I'm not sure if Boss is planning that, their Waza reissues have been few and far between. Would be a killer pedal though!
@@AndyDemosThat would be beyond great. Thanks for the kind answer! Take care.
Wow..can someone tell me what was that first song? really beautiful playing..great tone.
Thanks so much, all tunes are improv!
Yes, we’re eagerly awaiting the full album! 😉
Does the fuzz clean up fast like FF or more like a Tone Bender?
- Andy is good.
- Can I buy Andy ?
- No just the pedal
- Ow...

@@FjordFuzz fair enough. Thanks for replying. It does sound fantastic in this demo. Well done.
@@CorbCorbin yeah 10K should be perfect!
With the sound you're getting on the first tune, you could recreate The Isley Brothers - Who's That Lady lead guitar part (ie: fuzz, phasor, (+wah))
