Hi Arash, my question is, where do you find an entry level remote UI job? If I take a course and get job ready for UI, not UX, just UI, where do you find a job? I took a look at Linkedin and indeed, I don't really see much UI at all, I see UX or UX/UI or if I see one that actually says UI, I read it and they are describing UX or both, not UI specifically, is it confusion or are these jobs rare. I currently work in Remote Customer Tech Support for an app, 10 hours a day for 3 years, getting screamed at by subscribers that the app doesn't work, or bugs, digging and solving, a complete soul sucking job that I wouldn't wish on anybody. I am really an artist at heart, I can hyperfocus on things like art and I am a hard worker. Just playing with Figma tool, copying some designs with no skills for a couple days, I found myself really getting into it and know I could do this. Is UI by itself very rare or something? what am I missing here? I don't want to start studying this hardcore for months and months, then I can't even find a job to apply to.
Arash, this is so good I could cry. I’ve been combing the internet and UA-cam trying to get answers and real guidance and the algorithm brings me this. 2 weeks late but it showed up. I have never heard a more clear, concise guide on ui/UX design.
As I'm a beginner in this industry i learn many things from you arash...you are amazing man....always try to elaborate everything so that beginner can understand! However, i was a graphic designer and now I'm determined to became a UX /Ui designer. Please Arash make some live project vedio for beginner to understand the whole criteria.
Came across with this video. This is a big help! I'm just starting my journey on learning UI/UX this year. Your insights and pointers you made from this video is such a huge help. Thank you!
OMG, i can't thank you enough. this video is the answer for all my concern. Thank you so much for breaking down step by step, can't wait my UI/UX journey starting. Thanks :D
Thank you so much for the ebook and the way to understand explanations. You've made me understand that becoming a UI UX designer is a journey and not a sprint. Thank you so much man and keep up the good job. ❤ Much love bro ❤
I started getting into figma design/ui design a week and a half ago. So far i've already learned a lot about how to use figma and i just created my first website, with step-by-step help from youtube video of course lol. It's very interesting because you can get creative with yourself, i'd check out flux academy they have by far the best design videos on youtube
Here's a thoughtful message you can use to express your thanks: Subject: Heartfelt Thanks for Launching Such a Valuable BooK I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the launch of your insightful and valuable book, [Book Title]. Your work has not only been inspiring but has also provided immense value in shedding light on UI/UX DESIGN Your dedication and knowledge are evident on every page, and I’m certain this book will have a profound impact on many readers, just as it has on me. Thank you for sharing your expertise and for making such a significant contribution to UI/UX DESIGN
Thank you so much from last few days i was trying to know about this course but your video was the only one who told all the steps in details, I'm really thankful☺
Thanks for sharing your video , i have a question How to utilize Figma design, such that i can design my project UI in Figma, generate output files (i.e. Xaml or .razor ) then add/update those into my project to shape up the UI ?!
Fantastic video on starting a career in UI/UX design! Your step-by-step approach is really helpful for beginners. I use Plerdy’s free version on my website because it provides insights into user interactions, helping me apply UX principles effectively, much like the tools you recommend for aspiring designers. Can't wait to try out some of your suggested projects! 🎨
I just started learning Ui/Ux design with your guides. It's really hard for me😪 I don't know where to start from. Am i supposed to learn Ui/Ux at once or one at a time?
Hi. I'm new to your channel. First of all, I want to say WOW!😍 The video quality is unbelievable.😻 The background behind you - a delight.😻💜 Animations, video editing - the highest quality and professionalism.😎 The material of the video itself - WOW! So much useful information and tricks, and to fit it all in 8 minutes - you are crazy :)))))))))).😁😇 Thank you so much! I love this video. Will be watching your other videos as well.🙏🙌 Good luck to you!💪
Im a mix of a ui ux dev and design. Recently graduates with an IT degree with a focus on web dev and design. And i dont know what to focus on. I love desiging a button but through code not through figma so much i enjoy design softwares but not as much as front end coding im thinking to do my masters in software engineering would this enable me more to get a role in front end development? Do front end devs at bigger companies get to design a bit?
You don't need a Master degree to get a job as a front end developer. As a developer you won't design interfaces but it would be good to have some basic knowledge of design.
I will be commencing my UI practice next month, but at this point in time I only have access to my smartphone. Are there any suggestions to any apps/sites that I can practice development on my phone?
Quick question: I was about to enroll and already prepared foundation courses for Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, UX/UI designing courses are included in it, but they don’t even teach Figma, what do you recommend a best way out would be?
Hi Arash! Your content is amazing and helpful. Can you make a video on Fonts? As in which fonts to be used in particular cases and which kind should be avoided?
Hi! I’m 28, I took a marketing’s degree at 25 and finished at 28. I’ve got a passion for design but I have never worked in a professional work environment in marketing or any office type. I love understanding the behaviors of people and their actions and a liking for psychology, do you think 28 is a late age to start this path? I want to change my life and I think this is it.
Hi. It's not too late for you at all. If you work on yourself for one year, I guarantee you will be surprised by how much progress you've made, and by 30, you could be a great designer.
Holding a bachelor in nursing, one in social science and one in computer science with a focus in design. Still cant land a ux job, not even in health care as I dont have enough experience with ux... Doesn't help that I have good grades and good recommondations. Getting so tired of this! Hopefully I can get a job after finishing my master in business with a focus in innovation. Time will tell
By understanding the basic design theory, as mentioned by Arash and once you master them, you will be able to recognize mistakes in hierarchy, color contrast, etc. Redesigning other designs is a way to hone your eyes on these details and build muscle memory. Still, you also need to understand why other designers do what they do first, and that is by learning the basic design theories. Otherwise, you'd just be copying them.
Hello Arash, you are the GOAT of ui/ux teaching. I bought your course as a newbie now I feel like this is what I was born to do. Unrelated, where can I find your glasses (Link ?). Peace
pls make your learning program more understandable and also pls when teaching your design program take it smoothly and slowly so I can understand your program thank you

Hi Arash! Wondering why people with minimal content on Behance and LinkedIn get selected by big tech companies like Zoho, while my detailed profile hasn't led to similar opportunities. Feeling like I might be missing something. Any insights?😢
Hi. That really depends on your portfolio. Some designers won't share their work on Behance, Dribbble, etc. Instead they post them on their own website.
Hey, thanks for the insightful video as usual! I wondered, what is the link to the portfolio you used in your video? I’d love to consider some of it for inspiration on my own! Thanks for considering!

Hello! Thanks for the video! Do you think it is important to know the other technical stuff, like front end developement?
Hi. No problem. No, it's not needed but you should know how a project is structured when it's developed.
