I have a question that's been holding me back a little bit which is: how does a self-taught designer create a case study when they've never landed a client or worked at a company before?
You can create a case study by yourself or with help of a mentor (as people who go to boot camps do). Like everything related to developing a skill, practice makes it better.

No one should rush in any profession, not just in the tech industry. Take the time to actually learn and revise what you learned. I'll guarantee you, that is the only way a great company will notice you, if and ONLY if you actually learn and use what you learn. Good luck to you all!

Hello Rachel, your videos are super helpful for me as I'm trying to transition into UX as a uni student so thank you so much 🥰 I was wondering if you could make a video talk about handing off design to developers more efficiently, because not many people talk about it.
Sure!! Added to my notes :)
Thank you for watching 💕
How is everything going now??
Thanks so much Racheal , the details really help me , you really breaks it to pieces and it’s simplify,
at first am doubting myself. U make me believe I can still do it , I love the word u said ❤Knowledge without action is useless

9:45 omg this hits hard. I'm currently a graphic designer and I'm expected to create presentations for events to illustrations, which were all outside of my scope. Hell even my title as a "Creative Designer" is super vague, recently I just realise even the uiux designer in my team is also a "creative designer"
I have watched this over and over 🎉
Gosh she is so very beautiful ❤️
I am a fresh IT graduate who wants to shift focus from programming to UI/UX and this video motivates me to pursue my plan. Thank you!

It would be great if you can make a video discussing salaries of Product Designers since a lot of us really need to get in-depth info about that.
This is a very well thought out and well explained video. Excellent, thank you!
No one should rush in any profession, not just in the tech industry. Take the time to actually learn and revise what you learned. I'll guarantee you, that is the only way a great company will notice you, if and ONLY if you actually learn and use what you learn. Good luck to you all!
This video is a gold, thankyou for sharing this with us for free. Thankyou
