Nah. The dlc was a mistake
The weapons are fun but the conquest mode or whatever they are calling it is dogshit. The AI is more than braindead and don't despawn after destroyed so every hour or two you have to reload your game so it stops lagging
I will not change my mind. It's an unnecessary waste of development time that could've been put into chiseling out current issues. At the very least they're getting money out of kids that want guns in every game they play.
I was pondering on a networked modular design, meaning having a vessel with 1-3 work stations but by themselves no actual weapons, but via tempory connections like docking hatch to wired anchor points, beein connected to Auxility Weapon Platforms, which can focus most of its function/form to being a Turret.
With computer screens or atleast throttles for in-situ corrections allowing all 3 turrets hit the same target from 1 Station
can you do a tutorial seris about all the thing you would need on a navy/air force creation like CIWS Radar and missles. Thanks for the great content 😀

Awe man some real torpedos would be fantastic! The fist vehicle I ever built in stormworks was a sub and I was wishing I could have torpedos. Honestly never thought I'd see the day

@@zakkerr9420 Yes submarine operations would be awesome it would be cool if the devs added ai subs. Not that many but a few so you would have to keep a eye on sonar and not just radar.
I think you can reduce the recoil if you put the barrel of the gun in line with the pivot

Working on an automatic gun, slowly getting it to work but the radar bit is hard to get it working

if i want to control my gun with a pilot seat how do i stop the pivot from rotation. what can i do to point the gun at the place where my mouse is and than stop it ?

It be nice if they added the option to disable or toggle look Well at a seat So you could use look controls well that are remote monitor.
Can you do a tutorial on how to make a turret microcontroller and how to set it up, many even an auto turret so you don't need to control it?
My turret isnt synced with look position. With x*1 the turret does move only like only 25% of its full rotation in every direction and if I make it like x*30 it does move a lot faster and does rotate to its limits but still it isnt synced with mouse

how do you fix the gun recoil?
I would really like to be able to use some kind of big machine gun mags and belts so I can build planes with wing mounted MGs that have more than 50 pieces of ammunition. I hope the devs add something like that
doesn't it have rail things you can use to store ammunition for it elsewhere?

@@peerebeer4507 but the point i am trying to make is why are there no belts and bigger mags for the small MGs. I don't want every single of my planes just destroying so much, I want it to have very little damage

I'm interested to see how you handle the elevation for the bertha, because she's a heavy girl so pivot doesn't even stand a chance
I've been using piston but it's kinda disappointing
pivot have more power the more weight you put on them. weird right ? so you'll just need to put the pivot on the center of gravity of the whole moving mekanism so it doesn't have to use much force
Place a large counterweight on the back side of the Bertha cannon. It’s what I did and it’s nice and balanced
Quess the weigth of those big guns require winches...😎
@@TheBubbarox That could work too but I feel like it would make the gun less stable. What I did is kind of like how tower cranes have those huge counterweights

Please re do this video! Now with all the changes in the weapons DLC, this method isn't easily done due to weight and recoil.
