It's said the beyerdynamics (the older ones like the DT 770) have V shape frequency (hard hitting bass and intense high's)
It's also said the Behringer's (BH 770) have really bad and muddy bass

I'd say review/purchase the Tascam TH-MX2 first, they're the only one's that claim to be actual studio headphones and have that design.

I have used the BT770 80 Ohm for almost 4 years for my silent surround system with Dolby Atmos. A cell phone can barely run them, the laptop runs them fine for me. If I watch a DVD, I have a Sound blaster x that has an optical input, an amp, selectable user defined EQ's and run the headphones as loud as I want. Atomos on headphones is pretty awesome.

@@gusstarick657 It was HP gaming laptop w/ a bluray player in it.
The GPU on the motherboard died but the GTX was fine. Thing is, HP blocks you from the BIOS so you can't switch the main GPU from there. The on board GPU switches to the GTX when it decides the extra power is needed. So it is basically junk, never another HP for me.

have read and watched lots of mixed reviews of the behinger BH770 what I find interesting is the beyerdynamics only have a 45mm driver and the behingers are 53mm driver and says in my manual 5hz-38kHz, for some reason all reviews say 10hz - 38kHz idk why, also I have it through optical to my speaker system which is also a amplifier if I turned it up all the way it would blow my ears out and still be clear, I have DTS audio, Dolby Digital, and Microsoft WMA Pro Audio supported by my speaker system so I have all those enabled, Microsoft WMA pro seems to make the biggest difference through optical when listening to music (dts and dolby are for surround) I also have it set to "2 channel, 24bit,96000 Hz (Studio Quality)" in my sound properties (max supported by my speaker system through optical) I also have a Custom EQ set, with all this, they are so rich sounding and like so strikingly sharp but amazingly clear, the bass is very good idk why people say its bad, its very clear, maybe a bit tight sounding compared to something made for bass, but at times it hits nice and hard so idk if people just arn't using an amplifier, for me, I am very happy I got these so not sure whats with the bad review's, and a braided cable is gonna last longer 100% to. and very comfy. main reason I bot it was for comfy and price and for me they have nicer sound then some more expensive headphones I'v had in the past.

@@Taprecords yeah with sound its hard even at my exact settings may sound different. What the sound is coming from and how the audio is being processed matters just as much as the headphone or system do in my opinion. For instance you dont know the eq I have set so if your interested I can let yeah know the levels and can try, be kinda interesting to know the results. Like if you also think they sound much better at those setting that would be kinda sweet.

Nice vid man, I wanted to know, I do gaming, and I'm looking for a comfortable headset that has good sound, and thats comfortable for long use. I saw these, I think they are good, but do you have any suggestions (my budget is around $50) (I play on pc, If that helps)

Do you think the DT770's can be used to make a good mix (music production)?
I know speaker monitors will always be long but for a general idea of how a mix will sound?

Hey man I’m thinking of buying these headphones but like I’m not using them for studio it’s for more watching videos and casual games are they good for that? And also they go for $55 on Amazon any other websites that have it lower that aren’t scetchy? Love your vids and keep up the good work man👍

@@Taprecords you welcome, so the discount in quality is logical at Behringers but if you do a comparison with Tascam Th-02 maybe or Sennheiser Hd300 will be interesting though!

@@Taprecords Well i used years a Sennheiser HD650 and my wife had the idea to buy a Behringer Bh770 . Well i m very surprised from the Behringer ! Serious . This BH770 headphone is very good and clear in detail . People who say there is no bass etc etc i think they are used using a half disco on their ears.

It is of my (uneducated) opinion that the DT is a studio headset designed for audio engineering, and the BT is more for like, drummers etc..
I was under the Impression they aren't for listening to stereo sound, it or enjoyment/recreation listening .
The sound is not there cause you need mono sound (drummer or guitarist through a mixer), or a DAC.

There is absolutely no information below 200Hz and above 6khz. You will not hear a mid bass even if you do a boost 15db low shelf with these. They are advertised as extended bass which is the saddest joke ever. But they are good for checking mid range such as Auratones. They are very two-dimensional and harsh. Surprisingly well built for the price. But do not buy these headphones.
