what i like most about the story in SotC is that Dormin never lied to you or misled you. hell, he tries warning you in the beginning no less but Wander just didnt listen. and he kept his end of the deal even, she revived. and there is nothing to suggest that Dormin would have taken immediate control after warping back either. he seemed to wait until Wander was in such a state that he couldnt possibly win, so took control of an almost lifeless body that was about to die. even saying he's borrowing the body. now whether he would have gave it back willingly is another matter, but i like that the seemingly super evil demon god is chill enough to be like "look, can i PLEASE explain the contract for your soul? no? fiiiiine...."
I think that was probably intended by the writers to reinforce even more how Wander is the real villiain of the game. Like, he was so centered in his selfish and reckless ways, and so unwilling to accept that death is a part of life, that he ignored everyone's advices, including the one from the literal DEMON that was imprisoned since forever and desperately wanted out. So, even a locked up demon had more decency and reason than Wander at that point. That is brilliant, honestly
ICO was one of four first games I ever got for my ps2. I'll never forget the hours I spent just walking around the castle with Yorda just daydreaming away. I remember after Shadow came out I would come on youtube and watch theory videos and even saw the video of people trying to get to the secret garden. I remember getting there myself and how amazing it was. Then came the long years waiting for the release of TLG. I beat it in the early morning hours while my daughter slept beside me. I cried a lot at the ending. Starting out in junior high going on this small adventure and finishing years later as a mother. I'll never enjoy a journey more than the one I took with Team Ico. Grats on the Platinums btw.

I understand why you view the ending of SotC when you play as Dormin as frustrating, since you have all of these cool powers and can’t hit anyone, but I think that that’s the point. It places you in the point of view of all of the colossi you slayed, who all fell to you despite their massive size and incredible power, which I honestly think is super cool.
The nier series has a very similar atmosphere that I love as well and I'd say they have somewhat similar storytelling too except they reveal more and more of the story each playthrough which I think is a fantastic way to do it

@@eg0zb yeah SOTC also pulled that annoying shit with your horse randomly disobeying for no reason sometimes, I share Jim Sterling's frustration with those mechanics so i've never been able to get into Team Ico's games as a result, in hindsight a lot of the misplaced realism in games like RDR2(good game but it goes overboard at times)can be traced back to Team Ico as the devs excuses for the BS with the horse was just lame, "more realistic" does not always equate to "better" when it comes to fictional media.
SotC is to this day, my favorite platinum trophy I’ve gotten. How this game was initially released on PS2 still blows my mind. Team ICO is made entirely of wizards.
It's mind blowing how a game of this size was originally made for such an old console and still holds up to this day with secrets and exploration! 10/10 platinum for me too!

You can break the wrist gaurd!? You know how long I spent running up and down that sword. I just kept jumping from the sword to his belly praying I got a grab. It worked but man I was confused like I was missing something.
Man, congratulations on such a terrific video! Haven't looked into these games, but ICO might be a personal favourite for me. Love the original look from the PS2 era. One of my favourite videos you've made! 💙
Appreciate it man 😊 it's been one of my favourites too! ICO is definitely an underrated game and I loved the song that plays while the castle is falling apart! I'd definitely recommend playing it if you have the time! 😁
Its interesting that the hint triggers are still so long in The Last Guardian. What I mean by 'still' is: Hints existed in ICO as well. And Yorda’s hint timer could also get insanely long. There’s like 6 areas in the game where you have to wait 20 minutes exactly before she starts pointing anything out. I wonder why the long wait for hints is consistent with Ueda.
I didn't know that ICO had hints, that's actually pretty interesting 👀 The Last Guardian hints are some of the worst I've seen. I believe the intent was there but they just came out a bit buggy and that's why some of them take super long to trigger 😅
@@Satiire The hints take a long time on purpose, these games are all about exploration and discovering the world on your own. If they were plagued with hints every minuet it would completely take away from the experience. That being said tying a trophy to them is evil xD
I was actually annoyed by them popping too early. Like "yes game I know where to go next but I am trying to see if I can climb over to this weird are over here" Or "shut up I am petting Trico to sleep and enjoying the view"
OMG why does this video have so little views in comparison to your other ones? This was amazing! I was so entertained! Commenting to boost the video. I really hope more people see it, this must have taken forever to make.
Thank you I really appreciate it! 💜 This one took over a month to make and I really enjoyed the whole process! I'm not super fussed about the views because I think it's one of the best videos I've made alongside TLOU2 video and I'm proud of it :)
I loved this game series so much, and it will still be my number one fave series. Between the exploration, hunting fruit and glowing lizards to increase health and stamina and drawing out a grid map to go with it. As well as spending extended amount of time running through time attack as well as climbing the castle in both the legit way as well as the hilatious way (you could actually climb the castle on low staming by jumping at an angle due to the game registering it taking less stamina....no ideq if this still works in the remaster). The memories of this series just is so good and will stick with me for a long time.
Congrats on all the Plats! It was a treat to watch, and with all the struggles that you went through and following this story of it on twitter, you did a fantastic job and again it was every bit worth the popcorn! Keep making fantastic content and I'll see you again on Twitter!
Thank you man! I really do appreciate the support over the last few months with this vid. It's been a long ride and I hope it was worth it! I appreciate you waiting so long, hopefully the next vid will be a lot smoother 😅
Really enjoyed this video! These games are something special. I havent played Ico myself, but I love SotC and TLG...both hit me right in the feels. Wanted to mention though, I don’t think the barrels in TLG were made from the children. To me it seemed more like a reward system designed to teach the Tricos to kidnap children and offer them to the Master of the Valley, who wanted them for some unknown purpose. I do wish there were some more lore hints in-game as to why
That apparently is confirmed to be true - what it is, we don't know, but it's not the children being brought (and supposedly adults can be grabbed too).
Loved the vid! SOTC has been my #1 favorite game, and Ico in my top 5 ever since i played the OG versions on PS2. I've got every iteration since, and have platinum'd/100%'d all of them several times. I'm so glad you decided to go for Dormin's sword! I wish you would've shown how hidden and difficult to reach some of those relics were! Collecting them all is no small feet! Like the one that required the parachute cloth near the 15th Colossus. I had forgotten that aquiring Dormin's sword wasn't required to get the platinum, but i guess that would've been too brutal. I appreciated Bluepoint giving us such a great wild goose chase that allows those who would normally miss so much of the environment, just b-lining it to each Colossus, the chance to soak it all in. Filling out all the fruit/ lizard maps takes you to some far-off places as well. I also like how if you climb to the top of any shrine, you get a beautiful panorama of the area. Did you look at the stats menu? It tracks quite a few things, including the duration of your flight/ swim when grasping a bird or fish. There are actually many locations/ scenarios in which one can catch a ride on a bird. They have patterns and if you stand at the top of a high area like a hill, cliff, tree, shrine, etc, one will often path directly over it. Some can take you on extremely long rides, but the hawks/ eagles are the strongest. You can even catch the doves at the temple (or kill them all). By the way, did you notice that a new dove appears in the temple after defeating each Colossus, mirroring the number of shadows? Another small detail is that Dormin's hidden shrine lies directly under the purification pool at the back of the temple. You can see it when you look up. Also, eagle eyed observers may notice that, not only does Dormin's chamber and thrown/pedestal resemble the Queen's chambers from Ico, but there's a broken horn from Ico lying on the ground in there. One last interesting tidbit is that the main temple, as well as much of the story's themes, are inspired by the Tower of Babel, and "Dormin" spelled in reverse is: Nimrod. Nimrod was known as a mighty hunter and the ruler who commissioned the construction of the Tower of Babel. This led to his reputation as a king who was rebellious against God. In search of power and control, he conquered surrounding domains and created an early "one world order," building the tower in the name of God, when in reality it was just a show of strength which depleted surrounding resources, wealth and labor, all in vane. The dividing of the Colossi into multiple parts may be referencing how the domains were split after the fall, along with the tongues (languages), or it may be referring to the legend where the evil king's body was divided into parts and spread far and wide because they believed the dark forces he was in league with would bring him back if not. (Dude was supposedly 215 yrs old when he was beheaded). Anyways, i'm sure there's still something left to discover in SOTC. I don't believe anyone ever solved the mystery of the "goat head symbols" in the remake...Happy Hunting! Peace, Love, Light and Discernment to All, Unconditionally
This video was extremely entertaining, thanks for opening my eyes to these games I'd never given a second thought too, will 100% get Shadow of the Collosus
I had no idea that there was a trilogy. Just started showing a friend Shadow and that we never knew about it in 05. We were more into racing and TPS at the time. Anyhow thanks. I started playing ICO and I do enjoy it. One note I have for the secret weapon at 6:45ish is but the ball/rock in the box before you step on the circle.
The ambiguity is a key part of the storytelling in these games. Having a clear story but not fully explaining it forces an audience to engage further with the story and come to their own conclusions in the areas that are left vague.
i love these trophy videos where you actually explain almost everything you went through to get the trophies, not just "here's the trophy now on to the next one, and here's the next one with no explanation" so thank you for taking the time to explain more
Your total subscribers is criminally underrated for the quality of your content and the games that you're attempting to platinum. Having never playing any of the Team ICO games, your video has really peaked my interest to play them. Keep up the good work, dude!
I played sotc back in its ps2 days. I was with a friend who said i should play it, then they left the room completely while i played it. I could instantly feel the sense of loneliness from the vast land populated only by animals. I suffered alone trying to figure out the colossi. When it came to the endgame, i just stood there after argo fell, staring in disbelief and sorrow because i loved my argo to the point i would use the call button for him while riding just to hear wanderer say "argo". In the cutscene with the shamans, i felt utterly lost because i thought that was it; i'd made it that far only to fail, losing my humanity. When being pulled back into the pool of water, i struggled to reach the dead girl, not struggling to get away from the pull. And i cried at the end. But then again, i'm the kind of person who can get very invested in games. Ffxv's endgame made me a mess, especially after starting new game plus and hearing characters mention things that made me sad knowing what would happen to them. As a side note, i got very attached to trico and never had any problems with him because, well, i assumed he would be cat-like and would require patience to deal with. I had played the other games and knew they would want there to be a communication barrier. But i never was able to beat the game in the time limit for the trophy, no matter what i did. Best i got was 5 or 10 minutes too long.
Thank you for the outstanding video. The first game from Team ICO deserves a remake. I recall my initial playthrough "Ico" in PS2, and I was discontented with the ending, felt sad for them and felt they ought to have ended up together.
you remind me of when i found a channel called Internet Anarchist a different *in a good way* Clone of SunnyV2. it's good example not a stupid attack .
It wasn't until I platinumed the PS3 version early this month that I learned that a lot of the sigils have a "sweet spot" where you can latch on and be inmune to any interruption. Also, completing gaius's hard time attack on the ps3 was way harder than on the PS4 lol
Finally got around to watching this! Great video man :) Saw some of the struggles this video gave you on Twitter haha, glad it still turned out as great as it did!
Thank you brother 🙏 Definitely had to get over some hurdles but I'm super happy with how it eventually turned out! Also, I'm excited to see that Super Meat Boy plat 👀👀
I always felt the last colossus felt as if it was the last one to be built/created/summoned, but never fully finished by Dormin's believers before Dormin was sealed away by the new rebel religion and that's why it can't walk around like the others. I also like to think a lot of the colossi were used to build all of the temples, shrines and other monuments before Dormin was overthrown.
I love all three of these games. Last guardian has such a horrific ending. Seeing Trico hurt and ran off is always so sad, but justified by the villagers. I’m happy that we break the control and it sounds like there was a baby Trico.
I cant believe it but i just watched the whole video and loved every second of it. I just finished the last guardian, and even if its not as good as shadow, it made my ammost cry man. Ueda and his team are brillant and talented artists. The atmosphere in their games, especially in shadow is a fuckinh poem so thick, you coul slice it with a knife. I finished shadow 10 years ago and i still think about it regurarly. After this video i am goi g for my forst platinum trophy ever. In shadow. I see you there mate!
Last guardian's ending is amazing and although the game didn't hold up to SOTC standards, I still have a lot of love for the game and the team behind these games! Good luck on SOTC platinum, it's incredible and is one of my favourite games now 👏
@@soranapopescu1296 I think they're working on a new game but they're probably waiting until they know the release date I pray they announce something before the year is over 🙏
Believe it or not I too actually have the platinum for all 3 of these games (in fact I have the platinum trophy for both the PS3 and the PS4 versions of Shadow of the Colossus). Although I have to admit I did have to cheat to get the no deaths trophy in The Last Guardian. If you managed to get it without cheating I'm not sure how you did it! It's not a super hard game to not die in except for there is one part where it's easy to fall. It's a lot of work but kind of fun too. Good job! 😀
Love these games. Ive only platinumed ico and both versions of sotc, but god ico's speedrun trophy gives me war flashbacks. I hope to get the last guardian someday but its just very tedious
good choice playing the ps4 version, ps3 version hard time trials were much harder due to the game being upscaled and the Wanderer not being properly balanced for it. Watch the insane things people had to come up with to try and plat this, especially on the 3rd colossus. Hard time attack Third colossus ps3.
20:54 it also a reference to a beloved shadows of the colossus UA-camr “nomad colossus”.He’s know for finding lots of cut content or digging into the games code to find hidden stuff of shadow of the colossus like finding cut areas of the map and or find more details of cut colossi and he’s been doing this for a very long time and he was even invited by the bluepoint devs to play the remake before its release if I’m correct
He did not find all the secrets, or even most of them. Other people did that on the Playstation forums back then. But without him we would not have all this knowledge because those forums no longer exist. He compiled all the findings of the community into his blog and videos, which the devs visited a lot to get all the details right in the remake.
As someone who followed Nomad Colossus and spent years looking for secrets in the PS2 video I loved this video and gave a sub happily I’m also curious if you’d ever go for the PS3 version of SOTC platinum as it has a slightly different trophy list and is much harder than the Bluepoint remake
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊 The PS3 SOTC is on my list, I'm not sure how different it is but I'm willing to give it a try at some point for sure!
@@Satiire It’s not super different, there is a grindy aspect as there is a trophy for killing every lizard and collecting every fruit but the difficulty spike is in the hard mode time attacks, a lot of the fights give you less time to complete the trial and the colossus tend to shake a bit more on the PS3 version
@@pikapat321 That sounds interesting! I'd be up for the challenge though, SOTC quickly became an all time favourite of mine so I'd give any excuse to platinum it again :) I struggled a bit with a few on the hard time attacks with the PS4 version so I'm sure I'd be stuck on most of them with the PS3 one 🤣
Bro SoTC was insanely good especially for the time, I remember playing it once as a kid and only recently played it all the way through on ps5, I honestly never had the time or patience to get enough stamina for the secret garden so I guess this is how I’m gonna see it for the first time
May I suggest one thing you could do in your vids pls? Can you maybe put in a trophy counter for the game that you are playing so that we can see your progress, plus it is easier to follow how many trophies you are getting. For example, at the beginning of the video, it is 0/39 and in the middle of the video, 27/39. But anyways as always, great video❤
@Satiire for example, go check TriplePV's videos. You will see he has a trophy counter in the bottom right. There you can look into it. Thank you for reading my comment and recognizing it🫶🏻
@@fragenza no worries man, it was a good comment! I think I'm going to give it a try on the next one and see how it goes. Some games are 35 trophies or so and I think it'll help flow the video better 😁
I have never played this game but I loved watching @theradbrad play it. Genuinely fell in love with the game. Also I’m going to assume the downward stab trophy was probably supposed to be you jumping all the way from the top of the tower and onto the colossus😂at least that’s how I think the devs intended it to be😅
Shadow of the Colossus is genuinely the best game ever made. All 3 versions of it are so unique. It has a better story then 95% of games that come out today and it told it all via gibberish (made up language) and subtitles. I will never grow tired of the game. I need a PC port of all 3 Ueda games. Sony, whose dick to I have to suck? 20:58 - while yes, it is a barrel from TLG, its more so a reference to the youtuber Nomad Colossus (hence the achievement's name: Boon of the Nomad) Nomad Colossus was the main guy who got me into the game back in the day. His videos explored the out of bounds secrets in the original PS2 version. There was so much mystery and intrigue. I've never fell into a game so fast. And its all thanks to Nomad (and Pikol but his channel was yeeted, Nomad reuploads some of Pikols old videos) When the game was remastered, Blue Point decided to honor Nomad's dedication to exploring a game he loved so much for such a long time. They added the caved and the Boon of the Nomad achievement as well as the 79 steps to enlightenment were dedicated to Nomad as well. Just really cool all round.
If theory is true Then its really tragic Both the protagonist of Sotc and the evil queen he sacrificed to save suffered the same fate But Ico rescuing her daughter from her repeating her mothers mistakes is a ray of hope Don't know about The last guardian though but I'm glad the boy and Trico have happy endings
These are some of those games where everybody else seems to really enjoy them while you despise them. These are truly some of my least favorite games I've ever played. The big empty landscapes, the slow paced gameplay, the terrible controls, the ambiguous story, I just don't get the appeal of these games and never have. Replaying Shadow now because I've become a trophy fiend as of late and have to get it 100%'ed on my profile. Got to just the 3rd colossus and I'm already incredibly frustrated with the controls and is just confirming everything I felt about these games before still remains true. Never even finished Guardian because I was bored out of my mind by the halfway point. I'm a completionist so that's saying something. One of the only games I started and never completed.
Personally I never got into SOTC as I hated the clunky controls and I hated that bullshit about how your horse sometimes randomly disobeys you for no reason, in general not a big Team ICO fan but kudos to fan for platinuming them.
For shadow of the colossus I found on hard mode that colossus 3 was harder than 15. 15 didn’t swing that much for me and it only took me two tries but colossus 3 when I had to crawl down to his arm oh geez I took maybe 15-20 tries
You have inspired me to think about going back to Shadow of the Colossus and finally gst that platinum trophy. I got around 60% of the trophies before dropping the game, which was back in 2019. I wish to get the remaining trophies but the timestamps for my trophies are going to look very odd indeed with the massive time gaps How does SotC run and play on the PS5? I heard it had graphical issues
I recommend since you loved Shadow of the Colossus so much, you should play the original PS2 version if you ever get the chance. It's easily the best and most beautiful version of the game, as the PS3 port has many technical issues that affect gameplay and visuals, and the PS4 version was done by Bluepoint so of course they ruined a lot of the visuals and atmosphere as they do with every game they work on
i remember when SotC came out the real goal was climbing up the temple instead of finishing the last colossus, at least for me :D one thing tho, its been too long now but i think on the ps2 version the forbidden fruit reset your hp and stamina. is this cut in the ps4 version?
The platinum for Ico was tough but enjoyable The platinum for SotC was tough as nails but didn't ruin the experience The last guardian however, despite being a beautiful game by itself has some of the least fun trophies i saw so far. After years of putting it on hold i am still not sure if i should replay it just for the stupid speedrun trophy
I agree, TLG is a great game but the trophies ruin a lot of the fun. I try not to judge a game based on it's trophy list but sometimes it's hard not too 🤣
You didn't really need to Max out your stamina to get to the top because if you jump sideways in shadow of the colossus your. Stamina will not decrease. I don't know if that was in the original but I know it's in the remake.
@@Jaikhay231 I have replayed the original PS2 version or the remake. I've just seen it in videos and stuff that you don't have to fully match out your stamp if you jump sideways while going upwards
U can actually max ur stamina by eat small animal with white tale, if u eat the black tale your stamina will goes down, I did it without even completing the game once, and my stamina was so long that I climb the entire secret garden without worry about

I didn't know that ICO had hints, that's actually pretty interesting 👀
The Last Guardian hints are some of the worst I've seen.
Because ueda wants players to think for themselves and overcome
I was actually annoyed by them popping too early. Like "yes game I know where to go next but I am trying to see if I can climb over to this weird are over here"
Or "shut up I am petting Trico to sleep and enjoying the view"
OMG why does this video have so little views in comparison to your other ones? This was amazing! I was so entertained! Commenting to boost the video. I really hope more people see it, this must have taken forever to make.
Thank you I really appreciate it! 💜
This one took over a month to make and I really enjoyed the whole process!
It's always so lovely watching someone experience these masterpieces for the first time
Congrats on all the Plats!
@@Satiire No matter how ever long it takes, I'll always be here!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Shadow of the Colossus is an amazing game, 100% a must play! 😁
This is one of the very few video game series the developers put lots of love into the game for the players than just a cash grab
For sure, this series is amazing!
My man. You're one of the rare good creators. I wish I could sub a million times
I really appreciate that, thank you! 🤝
i love these trophy videos where you actually explain almost everything you went through to get the trophies, not just "here's the trophy now on to the next one, and here's the next one with no explanation" so thank you for taking the time to explain more
Im not reading this
Your total subscribers is criminally underrated for the quality of your content and the games that you're attempting to platinum.
Having never playing any of the Team ICO games, your video has really peaked my interest to play them.
Keep up the good work, dude!
Thank you man! I loved these games so much and I'm sure you will too if you go ahead and play them! SOTC is my personal favourite :)
Best i got was 5 or 10 minutes too long.
a dove carrying a whole human is crazy
Thank you for the outstanding video. The first game from Team ICO deserves a remake. I recall my initial playthrough "Ico" in PS2, and I was discontented with the ending, felt sad for them and felt they ought to have ended up together.
100%! ICO needs a remaster/remake! It's an amazing short story and I felt the same way at the end too! Luckily Yorda washed up on the beach alive 😅

it's good example not a stupid attack .
It wasn't until I platinumed the PS3 version early this month that I learned that a lot of the sigils have a "sweet spot" where you can latch on and be inmune to any interruption.
Also, completing gaius's hard time attack on the ps3 was way harder than on the PS4 lol
This definitely brought back memories for me thank you for this.
No worries man! These games kept me hooked the entire time, I'm so glad I got to play them! 🙂
Finally got around to watching this!
Great video man :) Saw some of the struggles this video gave you on Twitter haha, glad it still turned out as great as it did!
Thank you brother 🙏
Definitely had to get over some hurdles but I'm super happy with how it eventually turned out!
Bro thinks he the rizzler
Great video! skipped over Shadow of the Colossus cause I might play it soon... Excited to see what's next👀
That's understandable, I hope you have a good time with it as I absolutely loved it! Hoping the next video won't be such a long wait 😅
The ending of tlg always makes me cry
It's probably the best ending it could've had! Made me love the game even more
I cant believe it but i just watched the whole video and loved every second of it.
Good luck on SOTC platinum, it's incredible and is one of my favourite games now 👏
I really enjoyed this video. The team ICO games are some of my favorite games.
Amazing work, thanks for showcasing these beautiful games !
Fun fact for ICO the queen is voiced by Misa Watanabe who was in a little known game called SNAKE EATER
team ico's games just have this vibe that no other games have, they are so so special and i am so tired of waiting for their next game :(
I was hoping for some news this year about their next game but I really doubt they'll update us with anything 🥲
@@Satiire Same :( they haven‘t given us anything in so long, I wonder if their current project is still in the works 🥲
@@soranapopescu1296 I think they're working on a new game but they're probably waiting until they know the release date
I pray they announce something before the year is over 🙏
Believe it or not I too actually have the platinum for all 3 of these games (in fact I have the platinum trophy for both the PS3 and the PS4 versions of Shadow of the Colossus). Although I have to admit I did have to cheat to get the no deaths trophy in The Last Guardian. If you managed to get it without cheating I'm not sure how you did it! It's not a super hard game to not die in except for there is one part where it's easy to fall.
It's a lot of work but kind of fun too. Good job! 😀
If I remember right. You could never reach the top in the PS2 version. It was just a rumor that no one could ever verify. Until this remake.
Underrated channel keep up the amazing work 🙌
Thank you man! 💜
Love these games. Ive only platinumed ico and both versions of sotc, but god ico's speedrun trophy gives me war flashbacks. I hope to get the last guardian someday but its just very tedious
Yeah the ICO speedrun trophy is insane 😭
Last guardian is very good, I definitely recommend it for sure!
It really does start raining every time I see that cutscene leading up to the sixteenth colossus.
good choice playing the ps4 version, ps3 version hard time trials were much harder due to the game being upscaled and the Wanderer not being properly balanced for it.
As someone who followed Nomad Colossus and spent years looking for secrets in the PS2 video I loved this video and gave a sub happily
I’m also curious if you’d ever go for the PS3 version of SOTC platinum as it has a slightly different trophy list and is much harder than the Bluepoint remake
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😊
The PS3 SOTC is on my list, I'm not sure how different it is but I'm willing to give it a try at some point for sure!
I'd be up for the challenge though, SOTC quickly became an all time favourite of mine so I'd give any excuse to platinum it again :)
I struggled a bit with a few on the hard time attacks with the PS4 version so I'm sure I'd be stuck on most of them with the PS3 one 🤣
i miss this type of atmosphere in games that make you think , sad and happy at the same time
The last guardian is one of my favourites but it's hint trophy is sooo frustrated
Bro SoTC was insanely good especially for the time, I remember playing it once as a kid and only recently played it all the way through on ps5, I honestly never had the time or patience to get enough stamina for the secret garden so I guess this is how I’m gonna see it for the first time
The Secret Garden is such a cool easter egg and one that would've been awesome to find on the original version of the game!
That's a pretty good idea actually, I'll look into it and see if it flows well on the next video! 😊
Some games are 35 trophies or so and I think it'll help flow the video better 😁
learning a speedrun for an achievement is crazy
6:34 - put the large stone ON the stone plate, before raising it.
38:30 Ey yo, why'd you step on the turtle?
I have never played this game but I loved watching @theradbrad play it. Genuinely fell in love with the game. Also I’m going to assume the downward stab trophy was probably supposed to be you jumping all the way from the top of the tower and onto the colossus😂at least that’s how I think the devs intended it to be😅
I only got the platinum trophy for the Shadow of the Colossus remake.
And its all thanks to Nomad (and Pikol but his channel was yeeted, Nomad reuploads some of Pikols old videos)
When the game was remastered, Blue Point decided to honor Nomad's dedication to exploring a game he loved so much for such a long time. They added the caved and the Boon of the Nomad achievement as well as the 79 steps to enlightenment were dedicated to Nomad as well. Just really cool all round.
I have a theory the shadow queen got her power of shadow from when dormin was killed and the main characters lover was the queen many years later
Thx for hearting
If theory is true
Then its really tragic
Both the protagonist of Sotc and the evil queen he sacrificed to save suffered the same fate
But Ico rescuing her daughter from her repeating her mothers mistakes is a ray of hope
Don't know about The last guardian though but I'm glad the boy and Trico have happy endings
Him: “after touching it with my pinky toe”
Him: *steps on it and proceeds to walk over its back* LMAO
there will never be another game like shadow of colossus i play all version ps2 ps3 ps4 always a blast
Great video pal played shadow of the colossus earlier this year and adored it gonna play ico at some point keep up the great content
ICO is a great little game, the PS3 collection has some cool reversible art as well if you're into physical games!
Bro this video is gonna be an underrated banger for sure🔥💯
I'm glad you enjoyed it bro 🔥
bro your videos are very professional, lets get this man to 100k subs
Thank you brother, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 🙏
Sotc my favorite platinum of all time, walking across that bridge for the plat was such an experience
Personally I never got into SOTC as I hated the clunky controls and I hated that bullshit about how your horse sometimes randomly disobeys you for no reason, in general not a big Team ICO fan but kudos to fan for platinuming them.
Quick question, what platform did you platinum these on? PS4, PS5?
This is the best game ever made I love it so much I will take no slander you say ong
For shadow of the colossus I found on hard mode that colossus 3 was harder than 15. 15 didn’t swing that much for me and it only took me two tries but colossus 3 when I had to crawl down to his arm oh geez I took maybe 15-20 tries
21:01
The games telling you that you missed one
Love the longer video man
Glad you enjoyed it! This will probably be one of the longer ones I create but there's a few more long videos coming soon 👀
@@Satiire can’t wait to see them
I’m pretty sure eating lizards is also how to max your stam? That’s what I did.
You have inspired me to think about going back to Shadow of the Colossus and finally gst that platinum trophy. I got around 60% of the trophies before dropping the game, which was back in 2019. I wish to get the remaining trophies but the timestamps for my trophies are going to look very odd indeed with the massive time gaps
How does SotC run and play on the PS5? I heard it had graphical issues
I recommend since you loved Shadow of the Colossus so much, you should play the original PS2 version if you ever get the chance. It's easily the best and most beautiful version of the game, as the PS3 port has many technical issues that affect gameplay and visuals, and the PS4 version was done by Bluepoint so of course they ruined a lot of the visuals and atmosphere as they do with every game they work on
For the longest time I thought it was pronounced “Eye co”. But hearing the way you said it sounds much better 😅
I want all these games to come to PC so that I can experience them. ESPECIALLY ico
ICO is amazing, I hope you get to play it one day!
These videos always gonna be good
Appreciate you 🙏
Appreciate you to for the videos
Wow I totally forgot The Last Guardian. I was wondering what that third game was.
i remember when SotC came out the real goal was climbing up the temple instead of finishing the last colossus, at least for me :D one thing tho, its been too long now but i think on the ps2 version the forbidden fruit reset your hp and stamina. is this cut in the ps4 version?
If you look as he eats the forbidden fruit in this video, it DOES drop his stamina a bit. At 43:50.
The platinum for Ico was tough but enjoyable
The platinum for SotC was tough as nails but didn't ruin the experience
The last guardian however, despite being a beautiful game by itself has some of the least fun trophies i saw so far.
This is a really cool tip, thank you brother! I just looked into it and I believe it was in the orignal also which is pretty cool! 😄
It was fixed after the US PS2 version, so that makes no sense.
@@Jaikhay231 I have replayed the original PS2 version or the remake. I've just seen it in videos and stuff that you don't have to fully match out your stamp if you jump sideways while going upwards

Dude you should have tried SOTC on PS3 that’s the true challenge.
My brothers and i always joked that the Ico girl was so pale cos she drank bleach.
Probably in poor taste but we were kids.
U can actually max ur stamina by eat small animal with white tale, if u eat the black tale your stamina will goes down, I did it without even completing the game once, and my stamina was so long that I climb the entire secret garden without worry about
