    Straight Up Mangini.
    UA-cam want's this kind of content. The more people you "RIP".
    The more money you will earn.
    Controversy equals cash.
    My best month's EVER on income.......were the months I ripped people for buying views and subscribers.
    100% dude.....these people listing these junk cards.....will come engage your page.
    Probably from MULTIPLE accounts.
    And will not ONLY engage it....will most likely write a paragraph or more trying to justify their actions.
    Right?
    And the algorithm sees that a the BEST engagement POSSIBLE.
    Keep this up dude. Keep it up

    Investigative journalism at its finest, Mr. President! Certainly can't trust everything the companies do. I honestly like the nickname Boardwalk. lol

    Thanks for sharing, John. It’s still a cool card, but like you said, there’s a big difference depending on which Brown it is

    That’s some good research, John. SGC or any grading company needs to hire you as a consultant…I’m serious!

    Thanks for sharing with us John. I would 100% say you cannot depend on the grading companies like so many people in not only this hobby but this community do. Same thing goes for Autographs. Autos are tough. Unless you got that item or card signed by that person in person there is never a 100% guarantee that the autograph is real. I try and do a bunch of research and comparison when i get the Autograph of tougher autos. I would hope people do enough research with cards like the Brown as well. Enjoyed.

      @MrJmangini  Місяць тому +1

      Yea autos are impossible to know for sure. They shouldn’t even authenticate but they won’t give up that money.

    Great tip John. Absolutely agree, if you come across a rare or scarce card, it’s best to do some research on it before buying. You can’t always trust the grading company. There is a rare 1910 Morton’s pennant on eBay psa labeled as Sam Crawford. Looking at it I could tell that’s not Sam. Doing some research I found out it’s actually Claude Rossman. But psa got it wrong. I kind of want to email the seller and ask if he will discount it because the label is wrong. Still a rare cool piece.

      Yea after the sale of this one I messaged the seller. Apparently he didn’t want to be stand up and let the buyer know.

    Nice detective work John. I didn’t think it looked like Mordecai Brown. I told Aaron it might be a photo of Babe Adams mislabeled who played for your Pittsburg Pirates.

    You put out a video earlier that showed a eBay seller who was selling a fake card, and I was looking for a card today and just happened to run across the card I was looking for at a great price, and after looking at the card it's fake. Want to guess who the seller is? Well eBay should take down all their cards until they fix the problem. Very glad you did a video on them I believe earlier today or I would of been buying a fake card.

      That’s the third one in as many weeks. Someone over there who don’t know cards must have bought a bogus collection or something. It’s really unacceptable.

    Great research Mr President, Sir! It's not just the grading services, some of the auction houses don't know what they are selling. I got into it with a Greg Manning person on email. Do we call you Esquire, or Your Honor or something now?

    Another possibility could be that the owner of the card wrote the wrong name on his card submission & someone at SGC didn't bother to look up to see if this was the correct info......

    • @MrJmangini
      @MrJmangini  Місяць тому +1

    Thats actually 4 Fingers Brown. No relation to Mordecai, but he always insisted that the thumb is not a finger. Thats a pretty dumb mistake by SGC honestly.
