I noticed with PSA cards of the same grade are higher than sgc. For instance if there's a 1970 Willie Mays sgc 5 it'll be $65 but a PSA 5 Willie Mays will be $80
Great video. I just got back into the hobby in 2023 and grading is crazy. My father and i collected tons of cards in the 70s and 80s and got out in the early 90s. Still have all my cards. Decided to send my first batch of cards to SGC to test my pre-screening. Just got back three 9s, five 9.5, and four 10s. I just like the SGC slab for most cards. I will test out PSA next. Your video helped a lot. Thank you.
nice job trying to stay as objective as possible. I sense a lit bit of PSA bias from you, though. 😉 I don't think I'd give PSA a check mark for membership because the pricing perks that you mention don't even beat SGC's cost for the average Joe Collector. also, price comparisons for vintage cards are a lot closer and in many cases, the SGC card sells for more.
PSA is overrated. Like comparing a Galaxy and iPhone. Galaxy is technically a better phone, but the iPhone has better marketing in the US. Both are great but to each their own.
Not even going to watch Just going to answer the thumbnail PSA for all the “” gotta get every cent possible outta this card” group And SGC for the true collectors that know that a SGC Graded 10 is a true 10!
Man I seriously made that mistake and didn’t even realize it when I screenshot the recent sales. My mistake entirely. Thanks for noticing and letting me know.
They look pretty good. It’s just so many people have put all their efforts into PSA, BCG, and SGC that it makes it so difficult for other grading brands to really grow as a company.
F**k value/price they both care about different things. Psa 10 has no whitening SGC10 has flawless centering. Which one matters to you? I care more about centering

@@kenfett7070 my pleasure. Glad to help out. The vintage cards look great in the SGC slabs.

Love both of them SGC for personal and PSA to move the cards but don’t have a problem moving SGC people are just weird with PSA
Psa gonna have your cards graded by a machine. See lots of damaged cards

Great video - For me SGC all the way, I have had great customer service from SGC.

Great video brotha
Give me the better value purchace price of SGC all day when I buy big cards they are for my PC and not for resale.
Totally agree and vintage cards look so good in the tuxedo.
You didn’t discuss vintage and therefore you left out an entire quite valuable group of cards from circa 1880 to 1975…why???
Didn't PSA buy SGC ?
How do you feel about cgc? their slabs look crystal

I must admit the centering does make for a much better looking card when it’s slabbed.
Didn’t really care for this video!! Appreciate it though.
