    Just made some. Cant wait to taste. Question .. How long should it marinate before I dig in?

    • @YardieBelly
      @YardieBelly  7 років тому +1

      It can be eaten immediately or as long as whenever. The vinegar acts like a preservative.

      The only spice used was pimento seeds and you could try using zucchini instead of the cho cho

    How long do you let it process/ferment before opening it?

    • @YardieBelly
      @YardieBelly  7 років тому +8

      You can open it right away, But the longer it stays it's the better it's going to be... The color will start to go brown but it's still good it's just the brine bleeding the veggies and the all spice berries.

    Why does my pickle has a sour taste? Did i add too lil of something or too much?

    • @YardieBelly
      @YardieBelly  3 роки тому +1

      The pickle should have a vinegary taste but the peppers should be strong and the herbs or pimentos should be strong too! You can boil the vinegar a little to reduce the level of acidity!
