is the LC TMOB or MCB-CCTV?
Neither - open crossing, no barriers (it is too large and has two road junctions within). Crossing is initiated by turning the single line token in a key switch either end, usually done by the loco driver, and is cancelled by a button on the lever frame in the signal box with CCTV monitored by the signalman as you can see. Not only is it a long crossing but it is on a tidal bridge. The railway crossed here many years ago, taking an even longer route and carrying on to occupy another road for a distance on the original route, which ceased use in the 1940s. The modern route opened late 2010 and has a deviated route to minimise road occupation but still draws spectators 6 years on, whom are free to wander within the crossing as it's also sort of a tramway - just another unique feature of our line - we also have a unique flat crossing with the Network Rail Cambrian line in Porthmadog which I also operate but locally (the flat crossing may become remotely operated from the signalbox one day).
Perhaps a little TOO fast!!
