Fantastic my partner and I where there only last week. We stayed in the Premier Inn and our room looked out over the railway 🚂 I just love watching the train's and there's something magical about when they cross the road and up the road to the station. The Port Café highly recommended fantastic food
Another amazing video. Thank you so much. We visit Porthmadog every time we stay in Portmeirion (which is probably a lot for a Canadian couple). It's so nice to see the little familiar shops we visit every time we go. Some of our luggage and my swimming trunks that we bring anywhere we travel came from The Original Factory Shop. Always a good place to find essentials
Great video, have visited Portmadog numerous times when our children were small now taking the two grandchildren. Have been on the train 3 times love it. 👍 👍 👍 👍
PORTHMADOG Early in the 19th century, William Madocks, M.P. for Boston in Lincolnshire, gained the approval of Parliament for the building of a mile long embankment across the mouth of the Glaslyn Estuary. This embankment, which for many years has carried both road and narrow gauge railway, and is known as The Cob, reclaimed nearly 7000 acres from the sea and made Porthmadog a major port for the then rapidly growing slate industry.
just a point, very few of the shops have disable access for wheelchairs if you are thinking of going, just don't stay in the travel lodge, STEAM TRAIN RIDES ARE WONDERFUL THOUGH

How come when I go out with my camera it’s grey and wet and you always get brilliant sunshine? Another great video enticing me to head off for Snowdonia right away!
Did you record the whole town or just the bottom half ? Lived there a few years ago so occasionally get things like this suggested and was curious to what else you'd recorded
palm trees in wales? i expected the destruction of traditional culture through masonic tavistock youth programming but don't start growing prickly pears and cholla over there.
Have been visiting Porthmadog since 1961 last there 2022, love this part of the world. Definitely worth the drive from Nottingham!
North Wales has great scenery, but South west Wales has the best beaches
