Can u please clarify about more than one vessel towed alongside. The rule says they shall be considered as one vessel which means if two vessels are being towed alongside, they shall be considered as one vessel which implies that only one side light on each vessel shall be exhibited which is straightforward. But what about the stern light? On which one of the 2 vessels shall be stern light be exhibited? as they are to be considered as 1 vessel
Hello sir, on-board practically how does the towline illuminated to show relation between towing v/l and tow as stated in last part of the rule (24i). I haven't seen the necessary arrangement so far.
sir how are you i am a fresh grade second officer i have a question for inspection of immersion suit I read in MSC/Circ.1114 :at intervals not exceeding three years, or more frequently for suits over ten years of age. and some officers Sayed that suit more than 10 years old inspected annually ? the question where is annually in MSC/Circ.1114??
You are right it's not mentioned in the Msc Circular, but annually test of immersion suit of more than 10 years is mostly a requirement of the flag state. So flag state can have more strict regulations than the imo has recommended but not less.
Very well explained ❤
Thanku very much🙂

To show that , normally towing vessel and vessel being towed put flood lights in the direction of the line so that it can indicate the towing line
