Just found your page and saw you go to Broward, I go to Cambridge in Delray! Have you passed your SPI yet? Any tips on studying for it? I took my physics class last semester but still haven't gotten into a good routine with studying for the exam.
Yes I passed the SPI. I would recommend the Edelman physics review. That helped me a lot. Some of my classmates used Davies and that helped them also. I dedicated like 3-4 weeks 4 hours minimum each day after clinic to study for it and that worked for me! Don't stress it, just don't leave it for last minute because it's a lot of information.
@@morganashley3420 Okay thank you! I'm taking this time now to study my Edelman book. I'm just having a hard time finding a decent routine that works for me. :)
so im hoping to apply to x ray or the dms program in the fall at my school. not sure if would you know, but why is physics required for dms and not x ray? also why is it required? i hope this isn’t a dumb question
Ultrasound physics is mainly about the machine and how the images appear. Since we are operating the machine they want to make sure we are altering the knobs as best as possible to produce high quality images for a diagnosis thats why its emphasized with ultrasound vs xray. Xray does not require manipulating a machine as much as ultrasound. Xray typically involves pressing a button after adjusting the patient whereas with ultrasound we have to constantly adjust scales for doppler, the brightness, depth, focus of the image etc.
Yaaay someone FINALLY did it! Thank you! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️🥰🎉
Thank you for posting videos 😭😍!!! Currently doing my prerequisites for a sonography program here is Texas & really look forward to your uploads!
You're welcome ! Goodluck !! :)
Hey I live in Texas also ! But how long is it taking you to finish your prerequisites? & what school are you going to ?
Love your accent 😍
yesss i love this video!! thank youuu :)

What was your bachelors in? Why the career switch?
it was in environmental science with a pre medical track. I basically had a change of heart

Morgan Ashley thank you so much !!!
hey Morgan, is it okay for me to communicate with you? I have so many questions about becoming a sonography student
Hi of course you can. You can email me and i'll answer any questions you have! morganashley217@gmail.com
