The White Lighting joke almost lured Jost in to think Che might just make him say some harmless self-deprecating jokes. And one round later you get the chimpanzee culture joke. Dude is a master.

Lol. Yeah, but it's a bit unfair when you think about it. Racist jokes are always going to be more extreme than whatever Colin can make Che say. He is literally playing his "race card". Shit is funny as hell, but also like an automatic cheat code. It's a game that Colin is literally not aloud to win...... But...... Over the seasons Jost and Che have become very comfortable in their roles as the hosts. At the beginning you could tell they knew they had big shoes to fill. The chemistry is great and Weekend Update which is the staple of SNL is strong as ever. Love it.
They are the backbone of the show. Never miss Weekend Update, it's the best since I started watching the show as a teenager 40y ago!
Its definitly not the strongest its ever been on account of norm getting fired but its still funny
