As tourists, my wife and I went on the Skyline tour of Croke Park in 2019. We ended up in Gaffney's and had a couple pints. Quite exceptional. Perfect score for them. Slainte from the US!
I hope I'm around for the Guru UA-cam arc when he reaches his 40s and uploads videos on how to give up alcohol and gets in touch with his middle-aged "new beginnings".
Everytime I watch the latest episode I have a pint of Guinness in hand within the hour…..love the shit(the thiccckkk shitttt!!!!!) my nickname in the pub is Spartan McGUINNESS.Goodman
Okay just returned from two weeks in Ireland. I literally drank my weight in Guinness each week. Anyway I'm back in the USA... Pennsylvania.... Having a delightful canned draught Guinness. Great stick. Poor domage. Try one
It would be interesting to hear from the barman what he saw as the difference between his old pub that got the not so great review and this pub. Is it the infrastructure, is he a bit more experienced, as Gravediggers says, are the glasses cleaned better?
Love, your reviews, love the Dublin/Meath humour!!Please visit THE 1884 on the Malahide Road, 10 minutes from Gaffneys, used to be called Graingers , amazing Pint. 👏 I reckon 8.7!!
im from nyc and im blessed to have a lot of irish bars to my disposal. my local bar, soccer tavern in south brookyn, serve the meanest Guinness in town. im omw for a pinto rn. im crying at your "domio and juliet". deff gonna think about it tn when im sippin one.
Croke Park area Pubs are known to be a tad dodgy, not the case though. Been drinking pints in and around the area since 1987. Not a bother, trouble seems to arrive if you're looking for it. Real true blue Dubliners who enjoy a proper chat and da local craic, salt of the earth types. You would have loved Dublin's pub scene/nightlife during the 80s and 90s, the music back then really made the whole experience that much more. 2022 doesn't even come close to Dublin's glory years, you must of started in the early 2010's. Was still half decent then but unfortunately the craic around town "2022" isn't what it used to be. The newer Generations tend to drink a lot less, many stay at home types due to tech and social media. Fair play to ye, great vids. Honest, humble & old school "Not bad for a Millennial" HA! Sláinte
Goin to wesht cork to visit the mrs family next week from Australia. Keen to send some pints, does anyone have any recommendations for around the Bantry area?
Ye sound about as Meath as I do Jamaican. Cusacks and Gaffneys, sheer class. Up by Drumcondra, the pint in Kennedy's is art in itself. Long before it fell into dodgy hands, the Fairview Inn (Kellys) left them all for dead. Great pint and carvery. Excellent upload. Oh by the way it's pronounced Anns-ley not Ainesley , I lived next door to the pub from 1970 to 77 when it was Graingers , Berminghams, Chaser and now the Annesley. Never a great pub to be honest.
Do you mean Gay bars, gender neutral Zoomer spots! "Old man pubs pfff" Whatever! Best pubs in Ireland aren't full of young people, they're usually of mixed ages! Anyway "Old man pubs" is where you actually learn about life, valuable information. Pub hop around Temple bar if you're a tourist then hit up Baggot Street for a healthy mix of locals. All ages!
Bro you released a video where you couldn't tell a can from a pint. I'm not sure it will make a difference to you if you have the first pint of the day
I canny drink a Guinness these days without hitting out with words like domage and schtick. It’s ingrained in me now 😂
Great to see you back on your A-game - missed the classic Guinness reviews

Imagine going in wearing an Irish Rugby jersey
That pint in Cusacks used to be 4.90 just at the end of 2021, still a decent price for Dublin and an excellent pint
The way you were talking about that last pint I thought it might at least break 9.0
I would love to see you come back to GALWAY again so many great pubs to review again .
Ya probably would’ve seen Ireland v’s Australia in mixed Aussie rules and Gaelic football there, wish they’d bring it back
10 hours later.... 🤣 great pints lovely hurling

Bridge tavern, great spot for a pint
Love the intro music. Have you tried the Wishing Well in Blackrock
The first 2 pints are usually sat in the lines over night, so they should really waste these as this is what they're meant to do.

Goin to wesht cork to visit the mrs family next week from Australia. Keen to send some pints, does anyone have any recommendations for around the Bantry area?
Bantry Inn has the best pint in town. JJ Crowleys is good too.
You might get the end of the keg or the first pint, they should be the same I guess
Love your videos but always makes me need a pint! Back in the doghouse I go!
Jayzus its like love songs for guinness for the 1st pint
Have you heard of London Black? Not tasted it but people are saying it is the English Guinness. Only in South London pubs as far as i know.
Had this on at my local in North West England.
Decent pint. Less sessionable than Guinness . Slight chocolate taste

I reckon if the last pint was the first it would have been 8.8/9??
Love the map does that mean Irish football players play in the middle of an ocean
What’s the best pubs to go in Dublin for Guinness that aren’t ‘old man’ pubs
Heineken bar in Dublin City centre.

Was that Dirty Michael hijacking the video in gaffneys
Dirty Michael is always around fairview so probably
The pubs in Ireland are just better than Scotland
You should hit Phibsboro. You'd be spoiled for choice :)
Love that map lol
have you ever had a perfect 10 out of 10 pint of Guinness? I would have thought the Guinness brewery would have the perfect pint.
He has only scored 3 or 4 pints 9 and above
He gave the Guinness storehouse a 7.4
He will never give a 10 cause then there will be nothing that can beat it. Kind of ruins the whole idea of doing the ratings.
Funny map🤣👍
There's no doubt that Guinness is better after a few have been poured
Come to Bray and try find the best Guinness 😂
The Ardmore has a nice pint of Guinness
Keep on lovin you playin for 1st pint
Very good
#bringbackthegulp
I didn’t give a crock of shite about a lot of it. The pints looked decent.
That schtick. Wow that glass stayed creamy. No more plastic cup Guinness. Ireland best looking guiness
Ireland wiped England off the map nice
