Drone footage shows scale of wildfire in North Carolina

McDowell County Emergency Management said that the Crooked Creek Fire, which was caused by a downed powerline during high winds on Wednesday January 22, 2025, had burned 220 acres and was 55 per cent contained by the next afternoon.
