Showing Agatha using what she learned from her coven and then having her not fully suck Billy dry to survive was a great way to show her growth as a character!
@@toonasag Agatha saw an opportunity with Alice and took it. Now knowingly she could stop the sucking, she intentionally sucked out Alice dry. We also see her trying to wield Alice's power outside of the trial but to no avail, she couldn't.
I also think she never had a reason to stop. With Billy it’s different. With Alice she was vulnerable and scared with the possession by her mother. She grabbed that power like a life line and like she’s done many times before. But the look on her face when she heard “mommy stop” showed she did not intentionally kill Alice it was instinct.
First thing I thought about, when I learned that Agatha and Nick created the witches road song, was that Agatha corrected someone about the lyrics saying "coven two" and not "coven too." Meaning her and Nick walking together, a sad reaslization at the time. It'll come up on a rewatch if it hasn't already been mentioned a zillion times.
Episode 8 is my favorite episode of the whole series. My favorite scene of the whole show was Agatha guiding Billy to recreate and find a body for Tommy’s soul. The way Agatha was talking and Guiding Billy. Everytime Billy became scared or doubtful, She remained and responded in such an optimistic, firm, realistic, humous manner. I loved and rewatched the scene so many times before moving on. Kathryn Hahn is so phenomenal.
and then her last remark about sometimes boys just die. Jac stabbed my heart, twisted it, pulled out the blade and squeezed a fresh lemon in there. Garnished with flaky sea salt, too. I'm so grateful. It is by far my fave as well.
The real brilliance is that this was truly a sequel to WandaVision. A powerful being creating a fake world that they didn’t know they created that travels through different set pieces
When I first heard the theory that Billy had created the Witches Road, I was disappointed because it felt like a cop out. But the way the show portrayed the revelation and how they tied it to Agatha recognizing who Billy was made it one of my favorite parts of the show
loved how she said it with a dig at Wanda. "unlike your mother, you actually created something useful with your magic". in WandaVision, she complained that Wanda was wasting her magic making breakfast for dinner.
@@cel.2263 True, they both created pocket dimensions, only Wanda turned the "pocket" inside out and spread it into the physical world accidentally. At least Billy made a door so that everything in his hex is contained within it. Although woe to those who enter it willingly.
6:30 I think you're the first to point out that Agatha's theatrics is her defense mechanism. I mean, it's not that subtle (though if you're just enjoying the show and Agatha being chaotic, you may even miss a few times when she's being theatrical), but no other channels have mentioned this in such an explicit way. And it's one of the many nuances why I love Agatha All Along so much.
The revelation that Billy (unknowingly) created the Witches Road is both totally creative and hilarious in context. It's creative because it's not often that a studio can take this approach in any film or series by playing with its audience by dangling what is and isn't real because something like that has to be earned. However, Marvel has earned that reputation with its audience, and it paid off here, I never once suspected that Billy was the originator of the road the entire time. And what makes this funny is that Agatha was lying the entire time during the series because she only acted like she knew what she was doing despite claiming to have experience from walking the Road prior.
It was so good. I had doubts earlier in the series that she had actually walked the road, but the reveal that she literally couldn't have because it wasn't real was just perfect.
With all the new concepts they introduced, I didn’t actually like the fact that Billy made The Road. I think having to wonder whether The Road is real or Billy’s conjuring made the show interesting but it being actually conjured by Billy is somewhat anticlimactic. It removed all the stakes for Billy because he would’ve just willed himself to survive.
@@francofranco9815 I think Billy created a very real pocket dimension for the road, it was certainly real enough to end the Salem Seven when Lillia flipped the card.
I don't know if it was just how her body/clothes would naturally rot, but when Agatha dies, her boots roll back similarly to how the Wicked Witch of the East's feet rolled back after the house was dropped on her in Wizard of Oz.
Maybe I’m late but the WandaVision “Yo-Magic” advert makes sense now! “Snack on Yo-Magic” is literally what Agatha had been doing to all her covens over the years to survive! This episode was such an epic finale!
The Buffy poster is from the excellent musical episode "Once More With Feeling", where Buffy tries to figure out her purpose after being brought back to life by a witch, Willow.
I was thinking this too. There's a few other overlaps. LGBT witch couple dealing with betrayal. Xander (the non-magical guy) being responsible for the spell gone wrong. Buffy wanting to protect her sister.
So, about Jen. I thought Agatha was acting. It seemed that she needed billy to believe she was the one that bound Jen and when Jen started the ritual it worked because Billy believed it so the road gave her powers back. That's why she dissappear when she is unbound and why Agatha tells Billy that he actually saved someone. Plus it would also fit with Lilia saying she might be someone unwilling to use her powers (instead of just bound) when reading the tarot card.
Also when I was watching the end credits I got so excited when I noticed they changed the kid in the witch costume to reveal it as Billy with his mom and then all the imagery was his room. So flippin' cool!
@abilabbasbalya2746 it's after the Westview hex image. The next one is William in the witch costume from before with the mask turned up and his mom (Rebecca) dressed as a Vampire next to him.
During the argument between Rio and Agatha early in the episode, Rio almost says the Witches Road doesn’t exist. Rio: “This walk with another woman’s son on a road that doesn’t even…” Agatha: “STOP!”
@@eastvandb It's one of those things you only notice after they officially reveal that Agatha knew Billy made the road, like when she's looking at Sharon's body and says I didn't think you had it in you.
I picked up on this too when I first heard it and couldn’t make sense of it. I did wonder if that theory about billy making it could be true but just seemed too out there!
Loved the Wiccan reveal and the fact the outfit blends all of his personas into one and retains the elements that are important to him. The drive away was classic.
Jen (who fell into a Birthing/Labor pose as her Magick flooded back) "Got Her Pink Back", as someone in a Comments Section pointed out, that's a term used to describe Women's Journeys to Regain Themselves after giving birth. This was paraphrased by Agatha when she told Rio she needed to "Get Her Purple Back" before Battling.
I hope they go back to Westview. I love seeing how ordinary people deal with the after effects of super power stuff. Imagine how fun it would be if Ted and Werewolf by Night ended up there.
But also the place itself where those big magical things happened has to have been affected. it'll never be the same again. Kind of like Monica going through the Hex. It'd be cool if it became the epicenter of more weird things happening in the future
It just occurred to me that with WandaVision (9 episodes) Age of Ultron, Infinity War, Endgame and Multiverse of Madness, Wanda has appeared in more Marvel properties than even Tony Stark!
@@devanisthe1 and her progression from really bombastic, simple magic, and looking like a jetplane when flying, to her more nuanced, intricate spells and elegant flight. Chefs are kissing
I mean considering her character in the comics, she REALLY gets around. The Avengers, Young Avengers, Mystics and the Supernaturals, Strange Academy, Mutants, X-men, Brotherhood, Magneto (Even though they're not related, Polaris stated they would always be family), even on Doom's side of the fence.
@TheJackedOLantern her time on Krakoa was expressedly about chosen/found family mattering more than blood, it's my favourite comic storyline in general. Was around the time of the Trial of Magneto. I think about her day date with Polaris and Jacosta a lot lol
I understood why they wrote it that way, BUT I really did want it to be an actual place in SPACETIME away from EARTH and not a con made up by AGATHA made reality by BILLY’s subconscious, STILL this was hands down one of the best rides I’ve seen in a while, top notch from writing to acting, to pacing of the story and drama, and that SONG, come on man, this was a TOP NOTCH show. Salute MARVEL.
It can definitely be both. In the comics (e.g. young avengers 2014) Billy’s powers are quite different from Wanda’s. He is capable of creating entire dimensions and worlds that are real physical places. So I personally believe that the road is both a manifestation of Billy’s subconscious and a genuine physical place in spacetime away from earth.
This feels like a very real pocket dimension to me, it certainly convinced an inter-generational curse demon, killed the Salem Seven when Lillia flipped the card, and served as a location real enough for Death herself to be summoned to it. Also, Wanda’s hex had an electromagnetic border, but Mrs Davis walked on to the Witches Road with zero difficulty.
If the Road did exist prior to Billy creating it, there would have to be a fairly powerful entity running the place that could read the minds of the participants and create the appropriate trials. Who would that be and why would they be doing that?
If the road now becomes a thing because Billy created it and witches can interact with it seperate from him that would be neat. And might cull some of that disappointment I feel that the road wasn’t initially real.
Agatha actually remained a villain😂 until the end. Props thought for sure we'd get her turning goodish and even though the other died , its nice the coven we followed actually made a positive development in their lives except sharon davis she cant catch a break from wanda or billy lol.
Im not surprised they still live where they are. Those few that you see are the ones most closely associated with wanda’s life there. They may have formed some kind of bond over shared trauma.
Also the Buffy the vampire poster in Billy’s room is from the musical episode “once more with feeling” season 6 episode 7, the cast referred to this show as a musical a lot during the promotion.
Also! In Billy’s room, besides the rocky horror show poster, there’s a “ When we fall asleep where do we go?” poster which is the Billie Eilish’s album from where “you should see me in a crown” is, the song they used to reveal that teen was actually Billy!!!
16:22 - That’s because the phrase *death by a thousand cuts* is used to both describe and warn people about toxic relationships. It refers to the *creeping normality* of the abuse, the gradual breakdown of the victim’s reality and personality (gaslighting), and the sapping of the victim’s energy and means of escape.
We didn't get that happily ever after ending for Agatha and Rio. BUT honestly this ending was so beautiful for Agatha. She finally faced death and sacrificed herself to save Billy which she couldn't do for Nicky. The flowers & fungi Rio created for Agatha's grave was so touching 😭 All the little details/things Rio does for Agatha truly show how much she loves Agatha.
Yes totally, she found her purpose as witches are supposed to do on the supposed witches road-which Billy made real. And she went in trying to trick them for her powers, but ultimately let Billy survive and sacrificed herself just after getting her powers back.
Is Lilia truely dead? We saw Alice pass on to the afterlife, but not Lilia. We also never saw her hit the swords. Since she got, what she entered the road for, she might have vanished from the road before the hit the swords. Remember, Jennifer and Billy vanished when they achived their goal.
@@nailinthefashionwhen Billy closed the realm that he created he makes a tomb stone and he writes three names: Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver and Lilia Calderu And in episode 7 Lilia sees Rio as death that ultimately takes her away.
@@ThisIsTheKendom that doesn't confirm anything outside of Alice definitely going with Rio imo. Sharon's could have been an illusion and when they go back to Westview, she's just there and doesn't remember dying lol. Lilia could have levitated before she hit the sword. We don't know just because Billy assumes 💁🏾♂️
Nice theory, but then in that case Alice should have vanished too after her curse was lifted (and not died in the next trial). The reason jen and billy vanished in the morgue trial was because it was the last one and they passed it.
When Rio cut through the scene to leave the row, it reminded me of when Charlize Theron’s character did the same thing at the end of Multiverse of Madness.
Yeah but rio cut through the fabric of a backdrop while Theron cut through the fabric of the universe lol it was kinda cool seeing her just cut through the paper with no special effects added. They could have easily made it look all crazy like in multiverse of madness but the choice to leave it practical was neat
@@tannerrobeson188 yeah I thought rio was cutting through dimensions at first but it was very clearly a show that the hex was there and the border to the real world being as thin as the backdrop it was made with :)
@ True, but it was still kind of similar, in that they were both able to cut through whatever area they were in. Maybe the reason why Rio’s looked different was because she was cutting through the fantasy world created by Billy, but when Theron’s character did it, she was actually cutting through reality.
Every other coven she wiped out all at the same time. This seems to be the first time other members have been left alive to judge and, in Billy's case, to hold her accountable.
Aside from her mother’s coven, Agatha wasn’t part of those covens. She conned those covens into believing she could lead them to the road before killing them, but she wasn’t a member of them. This was her first coven in hundreds of years.
For one, Agatha killed the other witches when she was attacked by them, Alice didn't attack her, she saved her. So Agatha had no argument to rectefy her action (I have to kill to survive). The other part is that she never had to face the rest of er coven after she killed, I guess.
I wish we could see more of a backstory between Agatha and Jen, instead of just hearing it. And I also wanted to see more of Agatha and Rio. I think they kinda rushed that fight and Agatha's good and evil side, they could've get her to say that she didn't get the chance to fight for her own son but now she has the chance to fight for Billy; that would make more sense than Agatha randomly changing her decision. But anyway kudos to Jac Schaeffer and her team for this incredible story and to the cast. Such a great experience.
The saying is "everything BUT the kitchen sink." It was a phrase to describe when someone moved out of a house/apartment extremely quickly and unexpected, they would use that phrase, meaning: they took everything possible with them, except the kitchen sink, because the sink is attached to the house, so you can't really take that with you!! So yeah, that's why it's "everything BUT the kitchen sink."
"Everything AND the kitchen sink" or as I have heard it, "everything, including the kitchen sink" / "everything, even the kitchen sink", came about after the saying "everything BUT the kitchen sink" had been around for a while. It's like the more extreme/exaggerated (twist/joke?) version of the original one. They took/threw everything, even the thing attached to the wall.
@@Cillanait's definitely everything but the kitchen sink. If people say everything and the kitchen sink, they're saying it wrong and think they're right. It's like how people say, "I could care less" is incorrect. It's "I couldn't care less."
@@RandyMarsh0301 you are right about the care less thing. I disagree still about the kitchen sink. They are two separate sayings. The "including the kitchen sink" is usually made as a joke. Purposefully different than the original "but the sink". I guess maybe it's a trope rather than a saying? Some people probably do get confused about the two.
2:10 Honestly I think there is 1 crown for each color of magic. I think the crowns can magically identify who is the strongest user of which color of magic. There also seems to be 2 phases of each magic crown. For Wanda it started off as a crown made of light, and then progressed to a solid crown. I think the light crowns are a sort of magical indication that they're nearly the strongest, if that makes sense. Kind of like a prestige system in a video game. Evanora was only ever seen with a blue crown made of light. So she was on the verge of having a solid crown. Pretty sure Rio has just always had the crown from the moment she was created. I was really hoping we'd see Agatha get a purple crown.
I’m not sure how that would work with Polaris in the comic though too as she also had a green crown, and will likely have one once introduced into the mcu. I do agree with you though
I think Agatha must of somewhat truly cared about Billy as when she tricked the witches down to the basement she made sure he stayed upstairs and was never a part of it all.
The Evanescence poster in Billy's room really stood out to me. It's of the album 'Fallen' and features the songs "Bring me to Life" (trying to get Tommy back) and 'My Immortal', 'Going Under' (the drowning boy) and 'Haunted' (Agatha is a ghost now). I'm just going by song titles, don't know if the lyrics provide a strong connection to the plot...

Maybe try is is for next episode, but I think the Maiden, Mother, Crone are also great representations of Agatha herself. Maiden was when she was innocent, or maybe her desire for freedom in the present as well. The Mother is her true self - not as evil as others think, and rooted largely around her relationship with Nicholas. The Crone is her defense mechanism persona - the cruel scheming witch she sometimes portrays to do the things she feels she has to do.
Thank you! I don't often notice Easter eggs on my own but I noticed that one and I was a little disappointed they didn't mention that in the video. (Also a major character in the Hellboy franchise, so I zeroed in on it pretty quickly).
Just gotta say thanks for the voices of Brianna and Elias thru this show, can tell u guys brought a lot of ur own perspectives and background knowledge to these vids and we appreciate it!!! 💜
I like to think Agatha’s death with all the flowers is an homage to Mrs. Hart (Davis) as she was always tending her garden. So Agatha’s death bed is a garden of flowers.
I love they used the Buffy Once More With Feeling poster. Not only does it touch on the use of music in Agatha but that episode of Buffy is also largely about Buffy dealing with the fact she died and came back to life, like Billy.
So agree with the entrance of Billy. It literally made me cheer and scare my cats though I was watching alone. It was fabulous. Just what I've wanted for years.
Billy is the Demiurge of magic in comics, he is destined to rewrite the rules of magic and even named the Godcreator. He was the one whose future full powered self created America Chavez’s home world. It doesn’t matter the Road wasn’t real originally, because Billy dreamed it was real, it has now become actually REAL.
This was such a great show. I used to watch these breakdown videos way more often, but I hate how you'll get spoiled for shows that aren't even out yet. "We know **** will show up in *****" and I'm just like...thanks...? Back to Agatha, I'm hoping we will see more of her and Jen also. And would definitely love to see more Rio/Death in the future.

I cannot wait for Vision Quest now. I wish this was the main story thread in the MCU, but I guess we're gonna have to wait foreeevvvver to finally get the Young Avengers.
I felt like there’s a lot of questions unanswered. The darkhold and how Agatha first wanted to have it? It seemed like it was her motivation for everything and then faded throughout the end of the series
the way I interpreted that moment, is the dialogue mostly revolves around billy questioning if he will/is part of the coven now, watching them all share the burden of pain and suffering, and I think some want to be included and at risk too manifested itself tbh, OR even the demon attacked him as he was the one actually lifting her curse technically
Mate, awful ending, all that teasing with Mephisto, why his kid would die at birth... that pointless lgbt stuff that didn't add anything to the story arc..
Agatha’s statement that she got her power at the end of the witches’ road is perfect. She was the end of the ‘fake’ road and it always gave her power! Incredible writing
Did love the big twist that the road was a creation of Billy's making. Also, did anyone else find the scene at the end of Billy, In full Wiccan costume, just walks to, gets in drives off in his car, to be really funny. Like anything mundane but in full super hero attire is just too funny to me. lol
The scene in the last trial when agatha wanted Billy's power and he refused reminded me a lot of young avengers v2 when loki wanted his powers to stop "mother"

Joe Locke as well. Phenomenal acting. It's just them sitting in a barren room on the floor.
The real brilliance is that this was truly a sequel to WandaVision. A powerful being creating a fake world that they didn’t know they created that travels through different set pieces
Jennifer's unbinding scene made me cry. I'm so glad that she is redeemed at the end of the road
It was so satisfying to see her make it out and walk away with her power!
They were all redeemed in some way. It was great to see!
It felt like a broader metaphor of regaining yourself than just magic
When I first heard the theory that Billy had created the Witches Road, I was disappointed because it felt like a cop out. But the way the show portrayed the revelation and how they tied it to Agatha recognizing who Billy was made it one of my favorite parts of the show
Same same!!
loved how she said it with a dig at Wanda. "unlike your mother, you actually created something useful with your magic". in WandaVision, she complained that Wanda was wasting her magic making breakfast for dinner.
My mouth was hanging open lol
Wanda wasn't fully aware of her hex either. More like his mother than he thinks indeed.
It was so good. I had doubts earlier in the series that she had actually walked the road, but the reveal that she literally couldn't have because it wasn't real was just perfect.
@@beeurdThe revelation that Nick and she wrote the song though... That's still sinking in.
@@francofranco9815 I think
Billy created a very real pocket dimension for the road, it was certainly real enough to end the Salem Seven when Lillia flipped the card.
Sorry the video was so late and some of the clips are backwards. I think you can guess why....
Tired boi
All the Screencrush team do amazing work.
It was Agatha All Along?
Don't worry, I'm dyslexic too
Somehow Palpatine returned?
I don't know if it was just how her body/clothes would naturally rot, but when Agatha dies, her boots roll back similarly to how the Wicked Witch of the East's feet rolled back after the house was dropped on her in Wizard of Oz.
I was hoping I wasn't the only one to notice this.
Yes! I noticed that too!
@@andyshook3172 can't wait to go back and notice that omgggg
Maybe I’m late but the WandaVision “Yo-Magic” advert makes sense now! “Snack on Yo-Magic” is literally what Agatha had been doing to all her covens over the years to survive! This episode was such an epic finale!

The Buffy poster is from the excellent musical episode "Once More With Feeling", where Buffy tries to figure out her purpose after being brought back to life by a witch, Willow.
and, it's basically trial by musical. lol
I was thinking this too. There's a few other overlaps.
LGBT witch couple dealing with betrayal.
Xander (the non-magical guy) being responsible for the spell gone wrong.
Buffy wanting to protect her sister.
The props department gets a gold star. That room was epic.
@@gordondouglas2971 how did I miss the Buffy poster. It's literally one.of my favorites
And Willow says she was guided by Harkness when she was healing!
Hmmm interesting theory. Yeah Agatha was "acting" very unnatural there.
Also when I was watching the end credits I got so excited when I noticed they changed the kid in the witch costume to reveal it as Billy with his mom and then all the imagery was his room. So flippin' cool!
wait are we watch the same show. since i always check the end credit for ep 8 and 9 but never found it
@abilabbasbalya2746 it's after the Westview hex image. The next one is William in the witch costume from before with the mask turned up and his mom (Rebecca) dressed as a Vampire next to him.
😮
I thank you ScreenCrush for giving such valuable insight. That part about Agatha channelling Alice, Jen, and then Lila was gold.
This long time practicing witch, appreciates this series more than I can say.
During the argument between Rio and Agatha early in the episode, Rio almost says the Witches Road doesn’t exist.
Rio: “This walk with another woman’s son on a road that doesn’t even…”
Agatha: “STOP!”
None of the videos I've seen today point that out, just how pointedly Rio tears through the backdrop.
@@xsanguine8
That's such a great moment. It is surprising if nobody had an opinion about it.
@@eastvandb It's one of those things you only notice after they officially reveal that Agatha knew Billy made the road, like when she's looking at Sharon's body and says I didn't think you had it in you.
Oh I hadn't caught that,cool!
Agatha also said "plant some azalias on your way out" i figured the growth on her decay was a way to honor her sarcastic remark as a tribute
Also a line Sharron said I think
Jen (who fell into a Birthing/Labor pose as her Magick flooded back) "Got Her Pink Back", as someone in a Comments Section pointed out, that's a term used to describe Women's Journeys to Regain Themselves after giving birth. This was paraphrased by Agatha when she told Rio she needed to "Get Her Purple Back" before Battling.
It's also a color that reflects spirit/soul, just like the color gold, which is fitting as she is the High Priestess 😉
OooOOOooooh...
I really do want to see Jack and Ted again (and Elsa!) but they have to meet up with Jen somewhere. Maybe looking for a cure for Ted?
Perhaps in Eastview instead, since Man-Thing and Jennifer Kale have a comic book history
Agree
The finale left me wanting more , so it did stick the landing.
She's got a story arc too
I mean considering her character in the comics, she REALLY gets around.
Also, Wanda’s hex had an electromagnetic border, but Mrs Davis walked on to the Witches Road with zero difficulty.
be patient for Wanda's movie then. We'll see the road and Agatha again, ferrrrr surrrrrrre

Rio was the best person to confirm if Wanda is indeed dead.

I also saw it be her choice of attack as if to say ''this is how it felt the thousand times you rejected me over these years''
We didn't get that happily ever after ending for Agatha and Rio.
Lilia is dead … in episode 9 at the end it’s confirmed.
@@ThisIsTheKendom when? Lilia could have started levitating just before the sword, we have no idea what definitely happened yet, just hearsay
@@nailinthefashionwhen Billy closed the realm that he created he makes a tomb stone and he writes three names: Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver and Lilia Calderu

When Rio cut through the scene to leave the row, it reminded me of when Charlize Theron’s character did the same thing at the end of Multiverse of Madness.
oooh can you imagine rio being related and appears in the other dimensions perhaps in future properties
Don't understand how it's punishment for Agatha that she killed a member of her coven considering that's all she's ever done her whole life....
@@amberbanuelos7053.... And she was going to kill them from the start, like she did all the other ones.
Finally, Ryan is back! I started to get a little separation anxiety there for a minute...
I loved it! The road isn’t real, until Billy created it and closed it. Maybe to be opened again?
@@RandyMarsh0301 exactly! Misinformation has led to the incorrect saying becoming considered "also correct." Thanks for the back-up!!
@@Cillana I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
I think Agatha must of somewhat truly cared about Billy as when she tricked the witches down to the basement she made sure he stayed upstairs and was never a part of it all.
she planned on killing them
The Evanescence poster in Billy's room really stood out to me.
It's of the album 'Fallen' and features the songs "Bring me to Life" (trying to get Tommy back) and 'My Immortal', 'Going Under' (the drowning boy) and 'Haunted' (Agatha is a ghost now).
I'm just going by song titles, don't know if the lyrics provide a strong connection to the plot...
bring me to life also has a great fall like lilia goes through :P and a loopback from a dream come to think about it.
Even when I do not love 100% the series, hats off to the casting. This is why getting the right actors can make or break a movie or series...

Alice got abs.
You should see the rest of her! 💃
26:14 next to Billy’s face is a house on chicken legs, commonly associated with the Baba yaga who is a witch from Russian folklore
I like that 👌
Agatha is so intelligent. Quick student indeed to apply what other witches did in the road.
I noticed Agatha’s feet curl up as she dies like the Wicked Witch crushed by Dorothy’s house did when the slippers were removed.
I love they used the Buffy Once More With Feeling poster. Not only does it touch on the use of music in Agatha but that episode of Buffy is also largely about Buffy dealing with the fact she died and came back to life, like Billy.
14:08 “boys die all the time” I gasped when Agatha said that
So agree with the entrance of Billy.
This was a really great episode of TV. Making this an origin story for both Agatha and Wiccan…
It all makes so much more sense, now that we know about billy. Makes the whole series better.
The best part is that now we know the reason why agatha wanted wanda's magic she wanted to bring nicholas back.

I still think Rio is who threw Teen through the glass window during Alice's trial.
Nah he got air yettted
The whole trial thing seems to have been complete nonsense..
the way I interpreted that moment, is the dialogue mostly revolves around billy questioning if he will/is part of the coven now, watching them all share the burden of pain and suffering, and I think some want to be included and at risk too manifested itself tbh, OR even the demon attacked him as he was the one actually lifting her curse technically
So waited on this breakdown, vs the Clockbait nonsense! Bravo!
