I called in to buy a guitar and about passed out when lemmo answered the phone talk to me just like a regular person. I was freaked out because I am such a big fan I could barely think straight. He said he’s about to drop some new music on us I can’t wait. Lemmo is the man.

Listening to this while driving. First 7 minutes “ man this dude is pretty good. Some clean chops”… about 8 minutes in when he gets “in the zone”…. Ok, I’ve got to pull over and watch this!

I bought a pro 2 with that exact color and neck, but mine has the humbucker on the bridge. Awesome guitar! I put a pearl pickgaurd and backplate on mine.
I’ve always wanted a strat that looked like Billie Joe Armstrong / Tom Delonge’s in the 90s. Billie’s seems to switch based on the light but I know Tom had both green and blue. Not sure about which fretboard wood I like more.
If there’s one thing that I regret in my life, it’s that I didn’t pick up a guitar and start learning and practicing much much sooner.

Here in 3/2024…and Lemmo’s videos playing the AmPro2 convinced me I needed one. Bought one two days ago. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

I recently got the American Professional II Telecaster, and it sounds+plays legit. Best $1600 I ever spent.

What a sick riff. Man this guitar sounds incredible. I've been listening to all the videos with headphones and without looking at the guitars. This one has been my fav sounding on so far. Amazing.

I got to play one of these yesterday and man that neck was so buttery and smooth. I wanted to buy it right then and there. Comfortable as ever too.

Michael Lemmo must be the “Johnny” that Chuck Berry was talking about when he said, “He could play the guitar just like he was ringing a bell”. I mean that boy is something else. In my humble opinion he’s done more for NRG website than anything else. Nearly everyone can hardly wait until the next video comes out. Great job Michael. Can you guys show the videographer every once in a while, it’s good to have a face to go with the voice. She and Michael make a good pair.
Lemmo plays a tune - has guitar players going back in the video to hear/see bits they love.
Snapping between chords and shapes like he was born to do just that, playing so cleanly that you might as well call it 'hospital grade'.
Getting a tone out of the strat that is round and soft, but rich and loud at the same time.
Then just follows up with the casual:
"cool so lets go to neck and middle - see what we get..."
Going through all of these Straturdays is the best binge I've been on in a long time.
these guitars can obtain some sounds that no other strat can obtain . very nice
Yowza. The way that finish catches light really highlights what a great design the Strat body is. Every curve and radius does something pretty.
Makes you wonder how simulating damage came to be a thing to pay for.
I just put Lemmo episodes on in the background while working, phenomenal. Love how these have extended in time.
If ever Fender needed an advert for that guitar and especially for those pickups then it’s here. Best by some measure.

Maybe dislikes for the guitar and not the player? It’s a very bright sounding guitar which currently is not the popular choice.

I learn a lot from watching the pros. Here I notice how he uses his thumb, which is the same as me. I thought I may be doing it wrong until I watched this.
Also, this makes me realize, I need to practice with my looper every day to get fluent with it.

Ngl these new strats are killer. Got an American professional last year and it’s the slinkiest chimey strat it’s amazing. The classic vibes are getting insane too, one day I’ll pick up something fancy and vintage lol.
I think we can safely conclude the Pro II strat is a damn good guitar especially if you can play it like Lemmo. I have one and love it. I'm no Lemmo but I'm working on it.

I just got a 2021 Fender American Original 60's 75 Anniversary edition 3-tone sunburst guitar from my wife for my 40th birthday...It is the best guitar I've ever played.

This color sold me when I saw it under stage lights(Robyn Hitchcock plays a Tele in this color on one of his live concerts) changes from blue to green, to silver. super cool.
