Guys thank you so so very much for your participation! The winner was just picked by a random comment selector: Goran Josifovski "Ill play something from Take Five and ill give this guitar to my son". Congratulations and that's going to be one lucky son :) Thank you all again ever so much for your support and we'll see you soon! // Guillaume
I'm a 16 year old self-taught musician who has recently started producing my own music, and I found out it is something I really enjoy, and I'm super passionate about it. On this guitar I would play my own compositions and come up with new ones. The guitar sounds amazing!!!
I just bought the American Pro II Tele in Sienna Sunburst like the one he's playing. I played a Mexican Tele and that back to back... and between those pickups and the added tone with the push push...i justified spending $1600 plus tax...gulp. But amazingly... no buyers remorse! It comes with this crazy incredible hard shell case with this plush gray/silver interior. Incredible package! The stock setup had it at 4/64ths across the board, just amazing....absolutely zero fret buzz. First guitar ever that i haven't had to mess with to get rid of fret buzz. I was sort of looking forward to figuring out the micro adjust neck tilt feature but happy that it's perfect!
I play the keyboard/piano but have always wanted to get into the wonderful world of guitars. A Strat is the exact guitar model I dream to learn on and have, as most of my favorite guitar players are Strat players. Unfortunately it's a bit expensive for me. The kind if music I will play is: 1. Funk (Nile Rodgers style) 2. Funk Rock (Red Hot Chili Peppers style) 3. Pop/Rock (Anything light and fun that fits that clean dreamy Strat sound) Even if I don't win, thank you for this nice giveaway competition contest and the great review.
Hi Thomann team & thanks for this great giveaway! 🤯 My name is Matthieu and I am 24. I started about one year ago a music producer career. I am a guitar player since I am 10, raised with the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pink Floyd.. Musicians I admire a lot because they inspired me! What I produce is somewhere between the nostalgia of the disco era, the energy of rap instrumentals and the onset of house and techno. And I'd like to use my guitar more but mine is falling into pieces and the bad electronics bring a lot of noise. So i'm looking forward to pursue a great career and continue crafting my sound to inspire people, and I would be very happy to do it with this beauty 💙
That intro, guys... gave me chills. Dripping with HIM's more macabre take on Wicked game, and they rocked Gibson on stage. Hearing it in a bassey single coil was just smooth as melted butter.
Comment: “why you should win the guitar and what music would you play on it”. In all seriousness, I'd use it to crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and hear the lamentations of the women, while playing some sweet sweet lightning blues.
Need a fender to play some Stevie Ray Vaughan and Franck Ocean songs...The telecaster is so beautiful and the sound of the strat is amazing with the effect... Good luck to all !
I’m obsessed with strats.. I’ve always come back to strats, and squier is the only guitar I’ve played ever since I learned how to play guitar. Would love to have a massive upgrade from my current strat.. 😍 I play full time in the church, and the strats can be so versatile and it fits so many different genre. If I have to choose, rock and blues..
Can you imagine someone winning this guitar and then going on to produce the most incredible piece of modern progressive music.. only to then be a guest on this channel to talk about the guitar’s incredible journey back? I can imagine, and I think so can you, let’s do this!😉
Trying to decide between and American pro ii vs original 60’s and my first and one and only strat for a while. What would your guys preference, and opinion be? My only other electric is an American original tele
I have my Olympic White stratocaster for 3 months now. It took some time to adjust the action hight. It plays and sounds incredible great. Bold sounds and even high tones. I use a strymon pedal and plugin on a Fender Tonemaster. My music live has entered into a new dimension. Thank you Fender!
I'm Benjamin Breen from Australia, and I've been learning to play guitar since I was 8 years old, I'm now 19, my whole life I've been playing cheap broken instruments and borrowing school and friends instruments to learn on, when I was 13 my dad took me to my first concert which was G3 with Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, and Satch, it was phenomenal and I even got to meet Steve Vai after the show. My father passed away when I was 15 and because of him I've been strongly persuing music. I'd love to have a guitar in his favourite colour and call it after him, Jason. It's a beautiful guitar and sounds great as well. I'd be playing a lot of different stuff on it, Definitely Red Hot Chillis, John Mayer, Led Zeppelin, Green Day, Megadeth, just a lot of different stuff.
Why: I have a friend who wants a guitar so that we could play together, but he cannot afford such quality guitar as this what : One day we would like to make original music with our friend, these plans are in the skies pretty much without this guitar, and P.S. we like rock and light metal, Nirvana/Queen mix
I’d love the new American Professional strat because I’m still playing my MIM I bought 13 years ago. Definitely time for an upgrade! First thing I’d play is some Van Halen!
I'd love to win this guitar because it would really help me out financially. I've had to sell a guitar, my amp and most of my pedals because I had to pay for my dads funural and covid-19 isn't helping either. I would love to play some Hendrix or Santana on it. My dad introduced me to both of them and I think he'd be so proud knowing I'd be playing their songs in his memory.
Why: I love the sound of the stratocaster, I am a guitar teacher and every day I study with my students the songs that have made this instrument an icon .. If I win this guitar I will take it with me on tour playing pieces by hendrix vaughan, clapton, on all stages of the world ...
This guitar would be the first good thing to happen to me in 2020, turning my days from 💧"The Wind Cries Mary"💧to 🤘"Wild Thing"🤘 and 🔥🔥"Fire" 🔥🔥. Ah man, and I would love to play some Pink Floyd on it as well, but don't have 💸"Money"💸 to buy it. Vielen Dank von deinem Nachbarn ;)
I love the Miami Blue finish it looks so cool plus the new modern features including the push push button gives extra versatility and tones and I love the neck pickup sounds so this is a really special addition. The Pro 2 looks great, sounds great and will make a great new guitar addition for the music I love, blues, rock and jazz. I can do it all with this guitar.
Why: I'm a 18 years old boy, from Chile, that is recording his own 5 songs on an indie rock EP, I've spent all my money on it, I sold every toy I had as a kid, and the guitar I'm recording sounds so bad, this strat would give me the perfect sound and I would be really happy, and I'll record the songs professionally. What: my songs to give the EP a professional sound, that I'll lately post on spotify and youtube
Why : Because sh'e's a babe !! SCHWING !!!!!! One day, she will be mine, oh yeah !! @Thomann please ! make me live in the now :D \m/ What : Gilmour, Dire Straits, Clapton but mainly SRV
God is worthy of the greatest glory! If God bless and allow you me win one of these guitars, preferably a telecaster. I will give this instrument to the ministry of glorifying the great God. We'll be praising Jesus Christ with this great guitar.
Well I’ve always wanted a fender American strat since I’m a little kid. Since I’ve found John Mayer as my personal guitar hero I would definitely play a song of him on that blue beauty.
Why: I'm from Chile and I'm recording an indie rock EP with my own songs, but the guitar I have is so bad, it doesn't even sounds good anymore. What: my songs, to give the EP a professional sound. I really hope I win it :( bye
Woha! I have been playing violin my whole life, been in many bands, but I really enjoy to playing other instruments, and I have been really obsessed with guitar lately. I have been playing my BF acoustic everyday for months, and Im really thinking of getting an electric.. and strats are absolutely my favourite. Cant wait to play rock, blues and indie on it, I already have a playlist of songs i wanna learn when I get an electric, cant wait to create songs with more distorted sounds! And this guitar is so beautiful... I would love to combine that colour with all my red/ochre clothes! hahaha
Why: who needs a reason to desire to play one of the most beautiful guitars on the planet. What: John Mayor Slow Dancing in a Burning room to set the mood. Warm up with some improv Then after some fine tuning, take on the good old neon. Slowly... because i havent actually learnt it completely because i keep getting distracted from just improvising. Love you guys X
I just got one. I remember buying a Fender Standard Strat (Mexico) at GC, but they let my amature hands touch an Eric Clapton Strat from their Custom Shop as I waited for the staff to get me a fresh boxed model. Oh my I was in love! But it was like a beautiful woman who was out of my league- only in my dreams. Ecstacy and fear! I was afraid I was going to drop it or something! I was playing it (if you want to call it that) out of this huge Tweed amp. I was totally overwhelmed. (Does anyone have headphones, please?) When I picked THIS guitar up, the neck and sound reminded me of that experience. And again - a beautiful woman who was out of my league- but I did not care- I am just going to have to handle it! It happens to be the black maple model as well. The neck is like butter. I think it is an amazing guitar. The best Fender ever mass produced?... there are others more qualified to say... but if you want to give yourself a grown up present- this is an awesome strat IMHO. Do you guys truly believe this is the best one that Fender ever mass produced? Kindly let me know.. Peace and love, CM
Why? Because this new American Pro II series looks and sounds awesome, I want to nail that Frusciante tone. And It’s a nice opportunity to try fender after so many years with my old Epiphone LP. What? Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Dire Straits... you name it! I just want to make good use of a guitar so well made.
I love the Fender Strat sound. I am learning guitar and I am overwhelmed about the Strat tone. I am a big fan of John Frusciante and the way his Strat his pushed to the limits. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful guitar.
After more than 2 years of abstinence, I went to the Music Station again and played 3 Fender American Professional II Strats, and again I noticed that the woods had little vibrancy, the maple necks were not very dense and responsive, there was little twang, little crunch , wiry-glassy, few overtones, sustain, attack, everything you associate with Fender guitars, everything is less than on my ESP 400 Series Strats and less than on my BLADE Texas models. This can be tested objectively and I can only say that I am extremely disappointed with this price-performance ratio. No, I can no longer objectively understand this adulation regarding Fender Strats. My first Stratocaster was a Fender American Standard Stratocaster and that was my worst guitar of all, a Fender Mexico Standard followed after that, but after I played the ESPs and the BLADEs everything was clear to me, and that proves itself again, every time, when I compare, the same result always comes out - what else can I say, it is true! The ESP-400-Series Strats and the BLADEs have objectively, noticeably and audibly better tonewood, the BLADEs even have a flattened neck-body-joint and covered fret slots and therefore much better playability!!! So, I'm done with Fender, I'm playing something clever, and at a much cheaper price. I don't want to talk anyone out of their love of Fender, I have nothing against you buying the (usually) worse guitars for a far too exorbitant price, you're welcome to do that. Then there will be more BLADEs for me, very simple! Thanks for listening!
I always wanted a Fender guitar, but it was always a bit expensive for me. I would only play this guitar if I won it. This is the ultimate guitar I want with every little piece in it, my god I even like the color! I'd play blues on it, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton and I'd write my own songs too! I'd play it till it looks like Rory Gallagher's. I love it!
Hello I'm 16 years old and I've been learning guitar since I was young. I'm currently self taught. Playing guitar makes me feel good. I forget all my worries can't explain how nice it feels. Abt what I would play I would like to play some John Mayer style songs on it. That's it :')
Hi gusto, thank you for the opportunity! I rally like these guitars, they are amazing! I've never had a Stratocaster guitar but i love their sound! I would play some groovy and funky stuff like Parlament or Any song wrote by George Clinton. Fender guitars, as everybody know, are like Pringles: once you pop, you can't stop. Thanks again!
Why: For a few years I've wanted to buy myself a nice strat but I never could decide which one to choose. I just have this image in my head of finally learning blues on a strat. This blue colour sold me, along with the sounds... What: Slow dancing in a burning room by John Mayer. (Bonus track: Chameleon by Herbie Hancock)
Why: I Never had a Strat, and I'd really love to have a single coil guitar What: that distorted sound was incredible, so I think I would crank my amp all the way up and tear the walls down with some juicy riff 😎
I would like to get this guitar for my 9 year old son who has been playing just before his 5th birthday. He started playing a half size strat-like guitar. Now he outgrew this and is playing my first guitar. The Pot-meters are really squeaky and old. So this guitar would be a dream to replace the old one. Thanks for the nice Vid! Take care!
Why: because it sounds fantastic and it looks beautiful. The color looks mind blowing cool. I think I’m in love. What I would play on it: Slow melodic rock, fast aggressive punk and everything in between.
Never had a Strat at home ... it is time I think! Musicwise it will be some harder stuff! I have to check how the single coiles do their work on Post Hardcore. Should be a match!
Why: I am a Strat player since 1984. I like its feel, tone and versatility and this new series adds nice features to a classic design What: beat, rock, prog, metal, this guitar does it all and I'd like to play it live with my band!
Adoro la Strat da una vita ma onestamente non ho mai avuto la possibilità di comprarla e probabilmente mai la avrò! Bellissimo il colore e bravi Thomann! 👍🏻
Here is why: I recently bought a used guitar (of course strat) and it's not in great condition. I have problems with it, one frat is kinda damaged, tone knobs are not functioning at all, but I don't mind. I love to play it, I love the sound, the feel is ok ... it's just great that I have a guitar. It was the best I could afford at the time. It would be just AMAZING if I could get a brand new, better sounding, working guitar, so I could evolve as a musician, get more knowledge and I wouldn't have to worry about equipment that I have. I just want to play some music, not worrying about my crappy 15th frat. What am I playing? Just love Arctic Monkeys, RHCP, The Black Keys, Pink Floyd, Clapton, Hendrix, funky groove etc. Working on my own projects as well.
I hear a big difference between the pine and the alder Tele. I think the pine Tele sounds much fuller (and better imo)! Do you think there's as big a difference between the pine strat and the alder one?
I have been playing guitar for a couple of years now and ive actually gotten pretty good. The only thing thats hindering me is that my guitar is some really bad off - brand guitar thing, which makes it hard to play. If I had that strat that would make alot of cool music.
Why: The colour is awesome! And the Push Tone idea sounds worth of testing. Would very much like one day to pass this to my daughter.. What: everything from Shadows via Beatles to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd to Chili Peppers
Till today I watched this video 100times I think, because I am totally blown away by the sound of the intro. As a Les Paul guy, this video (and a lot of videos by Kris and Guillaume) started my interest in Fender Guitars. Especially in Teles. Finally I made my decision to go for American Pro2, or a Vintera Road Worn Tele. 🔥
Ahh man, thank you so much! :) Don't worry about being a Les Paul guy, I'm also not that far away from being one. Haha! Still, for me a tele is the ultimate mojo machine. Both the Pro2 and the Vintera are awesome, you can't go wrong with them. //cheers, Kris
I’ve always wanted to learn and hopefully once I get good enough I would use it in my songs I like any kind of music so I’d make everything. If I won I would play every song I have on my playlist Santana style!
Why: it is an iconic guitar with a sweet new colour and some upgrades, plus I think it would help me make more progress. What music: lots of blues and rock/pop.
Why: Always loved the sound of the single coils and I am about to start my career as a musician What: Almost everything, funk, blues, pop and a lot of RHCP
I'm not sure that the new pickups are any different that the last models. I have both a Pro1 and a Pro2 and they sound almost identical. I'm thinking that some of that difference might be because the Pro2 has the roasted pine body. And if you find a 2010-2015 Standard, you'll feel the same neck. just a different finish, which are both very comfortable to me.
Woah, this looks like the ultimate modern Stratocaster... Fender nailed it with this one! I trully want to win this guitar as I'm a HUGE strat fan, but doesn't own one that makes justice to this iconic model yet. All my favorite guitarists play(ed) on strats: Frusciante, Hendrix, SRV, Gilmour, Clapton, Jeff Beck, John Mayer... and I'm pretty sure it's thanks to this model that I started playing the guitar. Of course I would play all my favourite songs from them, but also all other classical blues and rock songs, from Howlin' Wolf to Zappa and many more! Plus, it would pair magnificiently with my vintage wah.
I'd love to win that guitar because i consider Fender the best guitar manufacturer and Strats and Teles are my favourite guitars. I'd play Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Red Hot.. There are so many legends for that
Hi! I just started learning guitar on my own, from UA-cam tutorials and I bought the guitar I have now from a thrift shop which is a Framus 1969 acoustic and I happy with it. I would like to switch to electric and I would like it to be from Thomann
Hiya, I just got accepted onto a guitar performance course and have recently joined two bands. The American strat is undeniable my favourite guitar and having the privelage to play one in front of an audience would honestly mean the world to me x
Well, being a working musician at this time we're going through, made me sell 2 of my guitars, and that one would be my only stratocasters for all the sessions I'm doing at the moment. From pop to rock to funk rnb and soul, you name it!
I’m still learning guitar and dreaming to be a PRO somewhen. That guitar would help me to get there much faster. I enjoy playing blues, rock and jazz standards
I'd love to have it because I've been thinking of starting playing guitar for awhile now but never pulled the trigger on any guitar and the Fender Am Pro II Strat would be the dream 1st guitar for any person. I've always been a fan of John Mayer so maybe blues would be the most I'd be playing on the guitar but since I'm only a beginner it would go from Smoke On The Water first lol to then eventually being able to play those John Mayer's solos.
Because you're awesome to give this guitar away! And because she's such a beauty. A Strat in 2020 is still modern, it still looks and sounds as pretty as ever. First, I would sing 'Why Worry?' to my wife. Then, I would play music that needs a Strat to sound right. Mostly my all-time blues inspiration Stevie Ray Vaughan. Regarding that this Strat will have to undergo a lot of practice!
Why? Cause it's a beautiful fender strat and I have none. What would I play? Been hearing a lot of Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes lately, that guitar would be grate playing their melodies.
Hi, I know I can why this lifetime strat because after 11 years of playing, I never had proper single coils and I'd always split my humbuckers. Now that I've played more that once with some of Fender's I know I'd really like them on my recordings! Thanks guys 🤞🏻
Why do I need the new Fender urgently? I never had one ;-) I only a Mexican Fender once that I later sold to replace it with TWO Harley Bentons. You can hear and see both on my videos. The Harley Benton strat is better than than the (second rate?) Mexican Fender... I play something between Blues Rock and AC/DC like stuff, with a few Stones-like songs thrown in - if maybe with but little skill... But I'm working on my technique, doing a guitar course right now (after playing guitars since decades!) so I would be able to do the new Fender justice. All you guys got to do is send it my way! Cheers!
Great Strat...I need cleaner sound, it would be excellent to have one. We're playing rock, rhythm blues '60-'80. Chicago, Vanila fudge, Jethro tull, Cream, Fleetwood mac...
Why: I've been looking for a strat for the last few months and was leaning for a sonic blue pro 1, but the price tag was stopping me. The new model sounds great and you can't take your eyes off the miami blue. What: Honestly, anything that comes to mind after a practice session. It's never really the same everyday.
I would play country music on this guitar I don’t need to take my tele to a gig any more the neck and bridge pickups sounds great fender you did it once again looking forward for the pro series III
Because all I could ever afford were the cheaper Strats, though I love them. I'd listen to this guitar and let it tell me what music it wants to play, but I bet it'd often be the Blues and, I hope, sometimes something surprisingly new.

I would give this to my son for his birthday, he has been eyeing a fender for the past 2 years. That colour is amazing. Good luck to all.
Good luck
Does he like modern or vintage style?
he’d be a lucky kid, i’m hopping to get a player strat for my fourteenth birthday coming up, nothing like a strat man
I’ve been playing strats my whole life. I played one of these the other day and I was extremely impressed. The playability and tone were excellent.
Trying to decide between and American pro ii vs original 60’s and my first and one and only strat for a while. What would your guys preference, and opinion be? My only other electric is an American original tele

Because, I got enough blue in my soul, to play Miami Blue Fender :)
Buy a G&L Leo Fender last guitars he built said to be his best and they are still being made today.
That blue Strat is the same color as my first car a 1994 Ford probe.

Because Fender is a must to compose positive and happy music! This is my goal with music
I would like to win this guitar as the perfect wedding gift for me and my wife so that we can play John Mayer together.
Well that's just dang adorable.

God is good! Jesus dies for us, he is worthy! Amen! Lets him praise on Fender.
I wish you good luck man. God is worthy!

And this guitar is so beautiful... I would love to combine that colour with all my red/ochre clothes! hahaha
Why: who needs a reason to desire to play one of the most beautiful guitars on the planet.
What: John Mayor Slow Dancing in a Burning room to set the mood.
Warm up with some improv
Then after some fine tuning, take on the good old neon. Slowly... because i havent actually learnt it completely because i keep getting distracted from just improvising.
(Does anyone have headphones, please?)
When I picked THIS guitar up, the neck and sound reminded me of that experience.
Peace and love,
CM
Than, please, try a BLADE Texas-Model!!!!!!!!!!!!! And learn to play and to hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a strat ultra and that beautiful A. Tele II he is holding in sienna burst. They are both amazing but my number 1 for gigging is the tele.
I love it!
Difficult to choose. I want them both. The tele is my favorite one cause you can play anything you want : jazz, blues, funky Music...
I had to get one of the Stratocasters. They are fantastic guitars.
Oh yea this delightful!! Perfect guys!! Tone and playing as good as ever!!
Why: I Never had a Strat, and I'd really love to have a single coil guitar
What: that distorted sound was incredible, so I think I would crank my amp all the way up and tear the walls down with some juicy riff 😎
Take care!
Why I want that Strat: they call it Miami blue, but it’s Naples light blue.
What I’d play: Echoes, Pink Floyd!
Great guitar. Beautiful color. Amazing vintage sound. I love it.
Why: because it sounds fantastic and it looks beautiful. The color looks mind blowing cool. I think I’m in love.
What I would play on it: Slow melodic rock, fast aggressive punk and everything in between.
This would be my very first electric guitar..what better than a classic ...I would start by playing some RHCP..
Never had a Strat at home ... it is time I think! Musicwise it will be some harder stuff! I have to check how the single coiles do their work on Post Hardcore. Should be a match!
Why: I am a Strat player since 1984. I like its feel, tone and versatility and this new series adds nice features to a classic design
What: beat, rock, prog, metal, this guitar does it all and I'd like to play it live with my band!
Why : The addition of that push push switch makes it sooo versatile !
What : All the Dire Straits repertoire of course !
//cheers, Kris
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses Hey Kris, thanks for your response. Do you remember which pedal(s) you used for the Intro played with the white Tele? Thanks
I've always been a Strat enthusiast, and always will.
I'd play Strange Brew and Sunshine of your love forever, with that beautiful "Blue Moon" solo
I’ve always wanted to learn and hopefully once I get good enough I would use it in my songs I like any kind of music so I’d make everything. If I won I would play every song I have on my playlist Santana style!
Why: it sounds amazing. Hope i will feel how it plays as well.
What: lots of blues of course... and lots of everything else
I bet that guitar is awesome.I love that Miami blue colour. What music, blues of course!
If you had to pick one island strat for your life would you pick the American pro ii or the original 60’s?
Would love this guitar to create some new jams!! Beautiful kit!!
That strat would sound great here in Connecticut!
Why: it is an iconic guitar with a sweet new colour and some upgrades, plus I think it would help me make more progress. What music: lots of blues and rock/pop.
Why: Always loved the sound of the single coils and I am about to start my career as a musician
What: Almost everything, funk, blues, pop and a lot of RHCP
I'm not sure that the new pickups are any different that the last models. I have both a Pro1 and a Pro2 and they sound almost identical. I'm thinking that some of that difference might be because the Pro2 has the roasted pine body. And if you find a 2010-2015 Standard, you'll feel the same neck. just a different finish, which are both very comfortable to me.
just ordered the miami blue hss. Can't wait!
Best Fender guitar ever is the Fender Strat plus with TBX and 3 Lace sensor gold pickups
did they come out in the 90s?? great guitars
Olympic white with black pick guard. That rocks!
Parce que j'adore les strats et que j'ai jamais eue de Fender entre les mains !! Et parce qu'ENFIN, ils ont ajouté une combinaison de micros !!
I have all my life dreaming of Stratocaster and I play mainly blues and 70’s rock...with that nice guitar I can try to play everything👍😁
Checking out the Strat SSS & SSH over Easter so this was great! That intro was wicked 😂
Always wanted to play on a real Strat, specialy for my new blues project.
Great demo!
Why: Love Strats and this one seems just right. And that Miami Blue...Wow.
What: Knopfler, Nick Barrett (Pendragon)
Thanks!
Why do I need the new Fender urgently?
I never had one ;-)
I only a Mexican Fender once that I later sold to replace it with TWO Harley Bentons.
Love the new series from Fender, and they sound amazing! Nice review!
I have never had a real strat before, it would take my music to a whole new level. It is a great looking and sounding guitar too.
Because I need that kind of guitar. Sound is important. I'm leftie but I can play it like "upside down".
Which guitar do you recommend me, this one or the stratocaster performer?
Forget about guitar mind blowing Intro both of you. And Outro also. Great
