Vic High country tough tracks - Queens Birthday trip

- Queens birthday boys trip. The camera never really does it justice but these tracks are no doubt some of the hardest tracks up in the high country. Had the rain come a day earlier the tracks on the first day would have been completely different. Dont bother asking about the location of the last track, get a map and go explore.

Found the last track a few weeks back, went back this weekend to have a crack from the top end. Hoooly moly it's a test piece! Ended up having to bail on it due to time - there's clearly been a massive storm and the whole track is a mess. Huge tree came down above the top log step that wasted hours felling and aligning. Definitely need to come back!

I dont have a 4WD yet, but I do have an enduro bike. And I gotta say im jealous that you get to have a hot sausage roll on the trail! Luckkkyyy

Has a fair few goodies on it. Td42, billet crank, forged rods and pistons, front locker, Gu front diff, all the barwork and more! It’s a nice car!
@@DanielKistler thats pretty tough how does it go against the tb? as i imagine your running about the same kw?
Mikey B never really competed mate. Both have their place. The td makes more torque but doesn’t rev like the Tb. The Tb makes about 40-50kw more. But yeah both definitely have their place, I do love the Tb though, I wouldn’t be going td any time soon lol

if you want to showcase the angles of hills a bit better I've seen a few people use 360 cameras and it seems to showcase steepness of hills and climb much better then the standard camera, but they are pricey :) maybe rent one and try it first before you buy one.

Because if I tell the location, and 10 thousand people watch it, and 100 of those go looking for it, it only takes 1 unprepared idiot to get stuck in there and it potentially ruins it for everyone else who enjoys going in there.
Also increased people means more rubbish dumped in there which is also not good.
But the main reason is, we study the maps and go exploring for these spots, if I just gave all the good stuff away it’s to easy for everyone, I’d like to encourage people just to get out and drive and see what they come across.
Daniel Kistler agreed, after watching it, if unprepared people found it there would definitely be some grief, definitely agree on the rubbish, surely it can’t be that hard, if you take it in you take it out ! 👌🏼🤙🏼

john ward that is the original track. People in dual cabs go around it, so they are actually off the track. Didn’t even leave a mark either. If you think that is as bad as dumping rubbish you don’t belong in the bush, you are the problem!
