2023 AMRA Copper Classic

Went to race 2023 AMRA series round 4 in San Manuel, AZ...super under-prepared but had a blast! I've been working way too much lately and not riding at all so I mainly wanted to go up to volunteer with my club that hosts the race. Figured I'd race too...even if just for fun!

So I know absolutely nothing about dirt bike racing, but I thought it was wild that you have to start the race with the bike off. One of those little things that I imagine can make or break the start of a race. Good riding! Looked like a beautiful day in the desert.

Dead Engine Starts are more of an offroad racing thing...motocross with gates that drop you would have the engine on and bouncing off the rev limiter.
