I watched so many and the best they could do was showing it whilst doing an eye look, no zoomed in colours. Anyway i have placed an order for the ballerina and the latte and the chrome pencil in opal and the blurring balm in shade 4.

I just wanted to add, that on very oily skin these aren't the most long wearing. I enjoy them the most as eyeshadow. My liquid/creamy blushes in a tube have better wear time on me: Maybelline Cheek Heat, Morphe Cream blush (in the tube), Milani Cheek Kiss. I always set them a little with powder. As bronzer, my longwearing concealers last longer (Jcat Aquasurance concealer). The DM Colorfix aren't the most long wearing on the lips either. With the gloss, they look great for pictures, but the lip combo wont make it beyond 30 minutes to an hour, specially if you touch your lips at all, or eat, in my experience. I have more longevity from the Revlon Colorstay Satin Inks. That said I haven't powdered down the colorfix on the lips, before adding the DM gloss. Maybe that would help. For background, I apply it on top of toner & sunscreen, or a small amount of moisturizer and sunscreen, then I pat some setting powder on top, and finally spray it with Skindinavia oil control spray. On my face they fade, taking with them all the powder color products I applied on top. On my hands they wear a long time! ON my eyes they wear great on the crease and above, but on the mobile lid they fade away completely in less than 6 hours, so they arent a good eye primer for me (I have hooded oily eyelids).
I have very oily skin and they last all day on me as blush.. When I use them as eyeshadow, I use my regular clear eye primer underneath and Colorfix lasts all day.. On lips, it lasted all day on me just a couple of days ago (I wore it mixed with balm powder).. With any gloss/cream/lip balm under or over, Colorfix will break down..
@@Beautylashes19 I need to try eye primer under it. It faded on the mobile lid only, because the lid rubs on the fold of skin. I was trying to use it as eye primer. Doesnt work for that for me. Wore it as blush today and a few hours in i had nothing on the sides of my face. The first layer was a matte color fix, then i had a bit of waterproof concealer on top and powder bronzer on top. Idk maybe diferent people have different sebum. Ill try it again tomorrow with a different sunscreen. Maybe the sunscreen faded and took all the makeup with it?

Id love it if you made a video about face makeup for hot weather. I bought one of these to bronze my face and some of it is still on my hand, which I've washed a couple of times by now, but it has sweated off my face. Perhaps its because I applied it on top of a tinted moisturizer and as it faded it took the Colorfix with it. Or perhaps I should've used a lot of powder to lock it in; I only used a light layer of powder on top. Idk, it feels like a 100F degrees here though, so tough conditions.
I am surprised it's moving but I think it's because you have the tinted moisturizer underneath.. I would try it on bare skin and using the tinted moisturizer over it..
@@Beautylashes19 Exposed and Olive You are great modifiers of red (I have it in Bloom) - you can obtain all shades of muted reds - similar to Latte or Creme Brulee :-)
@@macassar1 that's brilliant, I do mix shades but sometimes it's easy when you have a shade you use often just ready to go 😉 I do plan on getting those shades in the future 😊 Olive you should be a fun one 😃
@@Beautylashes19 Olive is quite good for hazel eyes - as a neutral/base colour. My only problem with DM colorfixes is that they are difficult to premix as they set extremely quickly. And some can stain so need a primer :)
@@macassar1 yeah, they do set very quickly so there is a bit of a learning curve there. I have not had staining so far on my clients but I guess that's bcoz I mostly start with an eye primer on myself and clients. Thanks for pointing that out though. I'll be careful 🙂
I order most of the products from the UK retailers unless there is a flash sale in the USA and it is more effective to buy it from there than prices here (including shipping charges).. All products arrived safely for all retailers.. I have some links in the description box for different websites..
Hello dear. Can I ask ou something? I just received (purchased) a few Matte Colorfix for myself and the colour Primary blue is not building as a single wash of colour in the eyelids. It is very uneven. Any tips? Your video helped a lot in my purchase decision. Thanks for that! Amazing content.
I agree, I have noticed that it's more on the sheer side too. I just build it up in layers, letting each layer dry completely. It works better as a liner or mixed in with other colours.
i bought danessa myrics waterproof cream palette (primary) i guess the formula is different from colour fixes cause it doesnt set at all and even with powders or eyeshadows its difficult to do it, my question is maybe you can give me advice how to work with that cream palette, now i am a bit hesitant to buy colour fixes
Oh yes, the formulas are very different. The waterproof cream palettes behave like traditional creams - very blendable, can crease if there is a skin fold and do not set on their own. Someone with dry skin can probably get more use from it. How are you using it? On the eyes? Try setting it with translucent powder or matching eyeshadow. If you are using them on the cheeks, they should perform better and not crease once set with powder.
@@Beautylashes19 thank you for the answer, yes i was confused for a while cause i expected same result as from colour fix, so i used it on the lids and it didn't work for me at all , even fixing with powders didn't prevent from creasing, i also did draping with it and was really satisfied with the results, now im using it as face paint 🎨 though its a bit fancy product for this kind of use haha

Do the darker colours like the reds leave a shadow after removing them. And do they come off easy with miceller water.
Hi, no.. they don't stain the skin. But you do need a waterproof remover to get them off (micellar water will not work except for foils).
Does the black Glaze sheer enough to use ontop a shadow to darken it, but not show pitch black like a swatch?
Yes, you can use a little bit to deepen shades but it's still glossy.

Yes, all except neons and foils are safe for waterline..
i bought danessa myrics waterproof cream palette (primary) i guess the formula is different from colour fixes cause it doesnt set at all and even with powders or eyeshadows its difficult to do it, my question is maybe you can give me advice how to work with that cream palette, now i am a bit hesitant to buy colour fixes
Oh yes, the formulas are very different. The waterproof cream palettes behave like traditional creams - very blendable, can crease if there is a skin fold and do not set on their own. Someone with dry skin can probably get more use from it. How are you using it? On the eyes? Try setting it with translucent powder or matching eyeshadow. If you are using them on the cheeks, they should perform better and not crease once set with powder.
@@Beautylashes19 thank you for the answer, yes i was confused for a while cause i expected same result as from colour fix, so i used it on the lids and it didn't work for me at all , even fixing with powders didn't prevent from creasing, i also did draping with it and was really satisfied with the results, now im using it as face paint 🎨 though its a bit fancy product for this kind of use haha
