I wish the local brands of my country would take this much effort towards dark skin representation. Although I haven't been personally affected by the stigma, a lot of my friends and family have suffered from it. Yet most of the Indian brands do not represent all the beautiful varied coloured women of our country. Lot to learn still. Thanks for brining attention to these black owned products. All of them look beautiful. Love ya

I wish the local brands in my country do that too! Most of the foundations only have 3-6 shades available and the darkest shades are for medium to medium dark skintones, even though there are a lot of beautiful tan to deep skin-toned people!

@@auliaazizah3718 there's a local brand in my country called "wardah" they just recently came out with foundation and concealer and the shade range BAFFLES me lmao. there are no dark shades. absolutely no medium-dark shades. only light to medium light hELp

I needed a Matilda video today I've literally been having the WORST DAY! I'm trying to pay my college tuition and my bank is refusing to clear the check because it's "too much money" and "could be fraud" and after 2 hours on the phone they still "can't verify it." I eventually decided to just write another check and give it to the bursar in person but spending 830am to 330pm hysterically crying isn't a good way to spend my Saturday.

just ur local karen be quick, walk with confidence, look like you know exactly where you’re going and always tell someone when you’re going where. I live in Berlin so it can get sketchy but I watch the people carefully and decide quickly which way I’m going or where I’m going to sit on the train!

2 questions: how are your wrists after putting on and taking off so many products, and what do you use to get it off? Even in stains you can never see the previous product on your wrists
Haha my arm was red raw after filming this video for about five hours Emma! Easily the most swatches I've ever done in one sitting 😱 I use La Roche-Posay's Respectissime Eye Makeup Remover when I film - it's a gentle bi-phase solution like my favourite makeup remover from Chanel, but one third of the price. Those two are my holy grail! x

I’m always impressed by the level of detailed research you undertake Matilda and your commitment to sharing a more diverse range of products with us. Whilst I sometimes find the depth of colour too intense in products I have purchased (and lack the application skills to sheer out well!) I try and not purchase any more make up beside my tried and true because I have to many and watching Matilda's videos makes me add more things to my mental wish list. Even if I'm not interested on the items/brands I still watch the videos because I love the content. I find them relaxing. The clean aesthetic, no music or distractic sounds, the information, ect. Is great

It is a struggle that most cosmetic companies doesn't ship to some asian countries.
Danessa Myricks products are No.1 on my wish list but sadly they don't ship to Myanmar.

I have some of the metallic color fix, and one of the new glitter shades, along with the clear glaze. They are incredible. I have the clear balm highlighter and the cream bronzer too. I got a too-light color in the bronzer, so I’m hoping it will work on me in the winter. I would LOVE to see swatches of the other vision flush colors and all the colorfix. It has been hard to find swatches, so I don’t know what I want to order next...

Hi Matilda! I love your videos so much and they definitely calm me down at some of my points of high anxiety!
