I LOVE your Danessa videos, you show how much makeup is & get comfortable with using something out of the regular routine.
This is the best demo of multiple DM products I’ve come across, I have most of these products (huge fan of her formulas!) and you have helped inspire me to use these products amongst each other with some creative interchangeable applications! It's me again! I finally received my first Colorfix in the color Exposed and I loooove it. It's so smooth on the eyes and I didn't find it hard to blend at all. That's what those matte CT cream shadows should have looked like! And on the lips? The possibilities are endless with different gloss and liner combinations. I can even use it as a brontour shade. Now I'm probably buying another one 😳
Annnd, I topped my eyes with the Skinshow shade from Subversive just to see how it layers. It's insanely good together!

A couple of questions: Where do you watch "teach me Tuesdays?" How do you clean dried product off your brushes? I also love your headband; can you provide a link?

I loved your video. Thank you so much for being so informative and in-depth. It’s really amazing how you used it as a concealer, the possibilities are endless, hence not sure how I could pick one color. Now in saying that, since it’s really HARD to just pick one color, I picked have a few colors😂. Also, thank you for the information of other sites to purchase from. I’m in no way a pro, and it’s been a long time since I’ve done full on makeup. I tried with Fenty Beauty to do the no makeup look, well that didn’t work out, one due to I now have been diagnosed with vitiligo and second I can’t seem to EVER get the right shade for my skin’s undertones. Thankfully, you mentioned using a color palette (I bough the same one you have before seeing your video), and merging a couple to get my shade. Again, thank you.

Hello, Chelsea. I want to thank you for sharing such detailed and informative content regarding all things glam and girlie. I unexpectedly lost my 41 y/o brother yesterday late morning- we were very close. And, I have been so extremely sad, still am in fact. But, so not to allow grief to envelope me, I thought to myself “Why not go one of your happy places for a diversion.” And, since I am not up to going anyPLACE, the logical option was to watch all things Chelsea on YT. I have been on the fence about Danessa Myricks Colorfix products. But, I think I am going to take a chance, due to your glowing review of the product. It is one of the things that I have been most reminded of..taking chances, as Life is to be lived, enjoyed and loved. TFS!

I find this video so informative. Just made a nice purchase black Friday and struggling to make use of some of the items that I purchased. I do love colorfix in Exposed and Nude 12. I want to love her glazed Cocoa colorfix but still playing with her cosmetics.
I love seeing you work with these! I find the Colorfixes a bit hard to work with and prefer the vision flushes. I have a bunch of those. Maybe I’ll give the color fixes another try! I think I tried the mattes. I’ll give the others a try and see if they’re better.

I just wanted to add, that on very oily skin these aren't the most long wearing. I enjoy them the most as eyeshadow. My liquid/creamy blushes in a tube have better wear time on me: Maybelline Cheek Heat, Morphe Cream blush (in the tube), Milani Cheek Kiss. I always set them a little with powder. As bronzer, my longwearing concealers last longer (Jcat Aquasurance concealer).
The DM Colorfix aren't the most long wearing on the lips either. With the gloss, they look great for pictures, but the lip combo wont make it beyond 30 minutes to an hour, specially if you touch your lips at all, or eat.

Aww you’re so welcome! I just use my regular brush cleaner and it comes off. I use Zote Soap.

I'm actually having trouble with my colorfix mattes picking up the product underneath, when I go to layer some more on top of set color. Any tips?
Yep! 1. Work in small amounts. Don’t apply too much if it at once. 2. Before you apply a second layer, let the first layer dry. 3. Use a synthetic, flat brush to apply Colorfix and then a fluffy brush to blend it out.

Do these colorfix tubes dry out within 6 months? I’m excited to purchase but have seen complaints of tubes drying out really fast and not being able to use the product at all.
They can dry out, but none of mine have and I’ve had some of mine for well over a year. 😊

Hi Pam! I just use an eye makeup remover (Neutrogena Oil free eye makeup remover) and it comes right off.
