that toyota camry is a good one and i’ve seen them go up to 200k miles in 2-4 years and everything still works and they usually sell higher than what’s it’s worth and typically get around 30-40 mpg
I think when you smell the interior it's funny. It's part of the fun. Yes I think the video should be fun as well as informative. Thanks Randy. Love to meet you some day.
When a car like the Camry looks like everything is okay, the sniff test might indicate that it was a flood car (at least over the carpet) and that is enough reason to do it. I agree.....sniffing the inside is one of the first steps in evaluating the car.
im a toyota man i love camrys actually any toyota they are great cars excellent resale value..and the knocking sound is probably the injectors but we dont know how long its been sitting for and yes love ya walk arounds i tune in everyday to see if you have posted one keep up the good work 👍👍
Hey Randy, absolutely can’t wait for the road trip! counting off the days! The length of the videos depends on the vehicle. If it’s a really nice car longer one is best or if it’s a beater shorter is OK!
More the better, Randy. Love the longer videos 30 to 45 minutes, but thankful for anything that we get. Safe travels and look forward to the next videos.
With the pilots the first gen 03 to 08 had transmission problems 03 and 04 the worst 05 had engine issues, the second gen 09 to 15 had hit or miss stuff, the 3rd gen 16 to 22 had transmission and engine and electrical problems, and the VTM-4 works in R and 1, 2 it’s low range only
It depends what video you are making, i do like the way these videos are structured. 20 mins is good but occasionally a longer one looking more closely may be good. The length of the videos following your trips are decent Randy.
That Pilot is a '09-'15, and this one is a refresh, '14. Transmission issues mainly affected 2003's, though I'd be looking for a 2006 to 2008. Thanks for the video, Randy.
I love longer videos plz thank you randy love all your videos there very informative on what to look for in buying a vehicle keep up the awesome work please thanks brother 😊
Hey Randy, seasons greetings from Pierre in Calgary. As always your comments are insightful and informative especially in regards to our five senses. So don’t skip on the senses and that means keep doing the videos the way you have been, I’m all for it. You and Mike be safe on your trip, you’re actually in the middle of it now since it’s the 11th and I wish you both health and happiness in 2023.
I love the long and short vids. This one was perfect since I have a 30 min lunch break. Assuming the 350z runs and drives, it may be a good build. Gunna take a bit of work. It's ugly to say the least 😅
Ok Randy the main function of oil is cooling the interior of the engine the lubrication is really a secondary function. So a very light weight oil is mainly to cool down the engine. Metallugy has gotten to a point that the porosity and surface roughness is lower and you don't need so heavy weight oil
that 350 does give a Fast & Furious vibe. As far as the length, i like the longer videos, there's only been a few cars in all the videos I've seen so far that I felt you spent too long on
Getting the radio code for Hondas is very easy there's a website you just put in the VIN and the serial number on the radio and immediately it will give you a code no questions asked
i like the nissan but it did have a noise in the motor when you rev it up and the honda was nice to you would have to put lot of work in the other car but yet randy it was all good the walk was also good to have a bless day
Long or short just keep providing great content. I really enjoy your videos. Wouldn't mind seeing the 350z on the channel. I know it's a big risk. I would of started, if it would start the red Ford Fusion, and moved it enough to get in the 350.
Bird's-eye view because people can't drive today especially backing up Matching tires is important to me also and really does speak of the level of care for the car
All cars can be cleaned even of smokers. “All cars has not been owned by a smoker” Of course they have because they have been cleaned of the stench and nicotine !
Listen until there is such a thing as smell-a-vision please let Randy smell these cars. He's doing this so whoever may be watching and wants to buy the car they know what to expect!
Toyota looks nice makes me curious. Honda will be a good pick up. 350Z i believe it has a 3.5 V6! She’s in rough shape 😥😥 Poor Nissan needs a restoration. I appreciate long or short videos! I’m not picky
I think that you should buy that 350z! if tat ting runs pretty good and you repint it and clean it up a little, those cars are worth big bucks in today's market. Plus I think that it would make some cool video content.
Randy, I understand checking the smell. Hate to see you get into some of the stinky ones. I would like to see you open all the doors first to air out. Gloves and a shield for the seat could also be helpful. You are the expert and I defer to your experience. The Nissan is loaded with bondo. No go. 20 minute videos are great.
The new Camry is a nice car but that 2.5 4 cylinder doesn’t have enough power in my opinion. I drove a 2022 LE with the 2.5 and it felt like it couldn’t get out of its own way. Needed the 3.5 V6
G'day Randy, now regarding that 350Z, the idea of the paint job would be OK except for the interior. The interior would need so much work. That is one pig's ear that you are not going to turn into a silk purse.
I Watch Your Videos While I Eat For Me 18-25 Minutes It's Great. Your Longer Videos I Watch When I'm Not Doing Anything So Either Short Or Long Videos I Don't Mind
There’s an old saying. NO car you are looking at will have nothing wrong with it or that will not go wrong shortly after you get it!! Nothing goes with out something going wrong even the engine or transmission that is good until you have had it for a little while
Get the 350Z make it a Subscriber decide what happens set a budget and give us options poll it out majority rule then maybe use it as a giveaway car? Maybe not but get the subs more involved with the build process I believe it will give the videos bigger views
Randy........I am a big fan of the 350/370Z's and owned a 260 2+2 at one time. There are some guys who are build "tuners" near me and I cringe every time I see them take possession of a perfect Lexus or Honda and then basically destroy it. I worked in a Hemi and Wedge blueprinting shop when I was their age and helped build two national record holders, so it is an educated observation. For that reason, I would avoid this particular 350, which appears to have been in the hands of one of these guys. Who knows what was done to the inside of the engine. (or suspension) Keep the length about the same and enjoy the Florida trip.
you mentioned vice grip?? I don't know what you're waiting for. i think that would be a great video. fyi. you ae a daily watch for me and vice grip is a watch as often as he posts
Happy new year Randy to you and your family 🎉!!! You should’ve started that car next to the Z and moved it so you could get in and opened the driver’s door. I was hoping to hear it run. Maybe your not allowed to start cars that’s on your list , I don’t know, but that Z was parked stupidly. You’ve taken chances before, so it’s up to you if your going to take a chance. I wouldn’t be surprised if you win all three 😂. Good luck brother 😁👍
Those Camrys are so slammed to the floor like Nascar race cars. Gotta be a rough ride. So low that an average pothole in NYC would rip apart the whole undercarriage
On the camry, the engine "knocking" is the fuel system switching from port to direct. Its normal for dual injected toyotas.
Was just about to comment that
Same here
👍👍
Long video please 🙏
Here in germany it's a 2k bill and was recalled by toyota 😅
that toyota camry is a good one and i’ve seen them go up to 200k miles in 2-4 years and everything still works and they usually sell higher than what’s it’s worth and typically get around 30-40 mpg
I think when you smell the interior it's funny. It's part of the fun. Yes I think the video should be fun as well as informative. Thanks Randy. Love to meet you some day.
The sniff test is imperative! F the haters, Randy :)
When a car like the Camry looks like everything is okay, the sniff test might indicate that it was a flood car (at least over the carpet) and that is enough reason to do it. I agree.....sniffing the inside is one of the first steps in evaluating the car.

Personally I like the sniff test lol… reminds me of Derek’s at Vice Grip Garage! Lol
15 to 20 minutes videos are perfect for me. About 4 cars sounds good 👍
I love both the long and shorter videos, also the 350z could be a really cool before and after!
Nothing like a Z if it didnt take premium gas I would by one ina heart beat. I have had 5 from 1978 on. Its an awesome pure sports car.
im a toyota man i love camrys actually any toyota they are great cars excellent resale value..and the knocking sound is probably the injectors but we dont know how long its been sitting for and yes love ya walk arounds i tune in everyday to see if you have posted one keep up the good work 👍👍

More the better, Randy. Love the longer videos 30 to 45 minutes, but thankful for anything that we get. Safe travels and look forward to the next videos.
I am a disabled Veteran so this awesome content for me to watch. I am originally from Kansas Oklahoma.
With the pilots the first gen 03 to 08 had transmission problems 03 and 04 the worst 05 had engine issues, the second gen 09 to 15 had hit or miss stuff, the 3rd gen 16 to 22 had transmission and engine and electrical problems, and the VTM-4 works in R and 1, 2 it’s low range only
That 350z could be a perfect Maaco special ✌️ grab it if it goes for cheap
The 0W 16 oil is what Toyota reccomends for turbos and Direct Injection engines. Prevents oil dilution.
Clicked so dang fast my thumb cramped on me 😂
The new Camrys sound like rodknock on startup it’s normal it’s the fuel injection that car is perfectly fine
Mine does the same thing it is I’ll audibly change if you let it idle for a minute it will quiet down a lot
It depends what video you are making, i do like the way these videos are structured. 20 mins is good but occasionally a longer one looking more closely may be good. The length of the videos following your trips are decent Randy.

Thanks for the video, Randy.
You're 100% right randy. Smell isn't creepy you can't by a rolling septic tank
I'll watch them no matter how long they are! More cars per video the better if you ask me. I enjoy the content, thank you!
I love longer videos plz thank you randy love all your videos there very informative on what to look for in buying a vehicle keep up the awesome work please thanks brother 😊
i have a 21 corolla and really enjoy mine it has 7,000 miles . i really enjoy the content and sorry for the comments just bored lol .
I appreciate all of your content..gives me something to do during my winter layoff…I do miss the carnage a little bit though
Randy the Honda pilot has an interference engine with a timing belt. Since it has 100k miles if you buy it I would get it changed immediately.
I like a detailed look at each car. This length or a little longer works.

I love the Toyota Camry 😎😎👍👍reliability as it's best.
I love the long and short vids. This one was perfect since I have a 30 min lunch break. Assuming the 350z runs and drives, it may be a good build. Gunna take a bit of work. It's ugly to say the least 😅
Longer videos are the best, but I'll watch whatever. Great channel!
Ok Randy the main function of oil is cooling the interior of the engine the lubrication is really a secondary function. So a very light weight oil is mainly to cool down the engine. Metallugy has gotten to a point that the porosity and surface roughness is lower and you don't need so heavy weight oil
I like the longer videos. Always have for years for your walk arounds.
I don't care Randy, I'll watch ALL your content!
All your content is great keep doing what you do and what you want to show us 👍
Randy can not wait for the road trip video, and I would like to see the 350Z before and after on your channel. I like the longer videos !
Think you're doing a great job myself keep them coming man wished I was do stuff like that
Twenty minute good at auction. Thirty minutes good for road trip.
Doing a good jobs. Thanks.
I love your videos. I wish the videos were longer. Keep up the good work!!!
Definitely longer videos… I get off work to watch you Randy!! And eat my dinner!! Love the videos!
that 350 does give a Fast & Furious vibe. As far as the length, i like the longer videos, there's only been a few cars in all the videos I've seen so far that I felt you spent too long on
The console contour is supposed to give a cockpit alure.i like that the cup holders and shifter are higher up for easier access.
Randy! the W in the Oil type means “Winter Blend” and I think the rest is just viscosity
Getting the radio code for Hondas is very easy there's a website you just put in the VIN and the serial number on the radio and immediately it will give you a code no questions asked

Although I couldn't hear the engine noise on the Camry you were hearing but those camrys run gdi so that's probably what you were hearing
your doing fine keep doing what you do looking forward to your trip.......
Longer is better buddy. I personally love your long videos
I love your content Randy, for a few years! To answer your question: i prefer longer videos.. can always pause them and watch the next day :)
3:02 anything who questions why you smell the interior should go watch a TK's garage video with a stinky RV. #stanklivesmatter
8:01 That Camry is a great road trip contender I bet the fuel economy will be AMAZING!!!!
On that 2021 could be direct injections switching?
Randy please don’t rush I love the long videos and prefer them
I am very happy with the videos the way they are Randy.
Toyota looks nice makes me curious. Honda will be a good pick up. 350Z i believe it has a 3.5 V6! She’s in rough shape 😥😥 Poor Nissan needs a restoration. I appreciate long or short videos! I’m not picky
Longer Videos are great! Thanks Randy!
I like it the way it is with what you're doing now Randy don't change a thing
I do like the in depth videos, but either way I like the content. Very entertaining 🤙🏼
Actually, If you look up what the W means in oil.. it in fact means winter not weight. My whole life I thought it meant weight but it doesn't.
I think that you should buy that 350z! if tat ting runs pretty good and you repint it and clean it up a little, those cars are worth big bucks in today's market. Plus I think that it would make some cool video content.
The 2 tone white/black xse Toyota camry is sleek too Randy. But I agree that ''weird line design'' under the screen I cannot get with!
Hope you an Jessica an nick had a great new year buddy see you soon buddy
What are they on about front end damage I don't see any damage that Camry looks perfect
Please more video's and longer video's love the content! From the Netherlands!
Camry made in Georgetown Ky. I go up to Terre Haute everyday to pick up parts for the factory.
Shorts are great to watch on work breaks and lunch
I love longer videos. I have all the time in the world. For few weeks
Randy, I understand checking the smell. Hate to see you get into some of the stinky ones. I would like to see you open all the doors first to air out. Gloves and a shield for the seat could also be helpful. You are the expert and I defer to your experience. The Nissan is loaded with bondo. No go. 20 minute videos are great.
randy should buy this as your around town or road trip that will get get good MPG
Long vids all day. And we need a carnage 1 pls big man. Love your vids I watch them all. James from England
Keep smelling !!!! That is part of a purchase 😁
Longer videos buddy good luck you an mike be safe out there see y'all soon buddy
I Watch Your Videos While I Eat For Me 18-25 Minutes It's Great. Your Longer Videos I Watch When I'm Not Doing Anything So Either Short Or Long Videos I Don't Mind
Hey buddy good to see you again good luck
There’s an old saying. NO car you are looking at will have nothing wrong with it or that will not go wrong shortly after you get it!! Nothing goes with out something going wrong even the engine or transmission that is good until you have had it for a little while
I think it's kinda like how the mark4 supra interior was everything is angled towards the driver and also like the Corvette C8
Get the 350Z make it a Subscriber decide what happens set a budget and give us options poll it out majority rule then maybe use it as a giveaway car? Maybe not but get the subs more involved with the build process I believe it will give the videos bigger views
I love the longer videos personally.
Randy the sniff test is a must!
I love the longer videos thanks for the videos
Btw longer videos are great as well. Shorter too in case there isnt a lot of time to watch it. Keep it up
Randy........I am a big fan of the 350/370Z's and owned a 260 2+2 at one time. (or suspension) Keep the length about the same and enjoy the Florida trip.
I have a 2021 Toyota Camry. Engine noise is normal. I get 45 mpg on the highway.
I like it the way your doing it right now
you mentioned vice grip?? I don't know what you're waiting for. i think that would be a great video. fyi. you ae a daily watch for me and vice grip is a watch as often as he posts
You can shiw a few glimps of few cars at the end of the video if time allows. Like you had carnage. I don't like carnage but to glimpse other cars
I believe the same way you do about the tires because it kinda lets you know if the owner gives a damn ...
Randy, keep them videos the length that they currently are, they're perfect. Don't bother with the 350z, it looks like a shed.
The videos are fine, every now and then a lengthy video is ok.
Go for the 350z. I agree with you. As far as the video lengths, either way is good for me. I'd say nothing longer than 1 hour though
Hey Randy, If you see a 2018-2022 Honda Accord on one of your walk arounds? Thanks Randy! Have a good time in Florida.
I love your longer videos for me I love your show on here
Long videos are great. I enjoy them.
LOL that Swadley's van in the background
Love more in deph long time sub here never change man ur content addictive love every video
