I am the previous owner. The sub box was screwed into the car and the expandable foam was used to seal the box. It sounded very good when I sold it. The engine and transmission are in great shape. All fluids are Amsoil and transmission fluid is red line.
It was a custom box. The box was attached with angle brackets and the foam to create a sealed box. Obviously couldn’t do a ported sub box due to space limitations. The guy that purchased it from said it was for his daughter. I’m thinking it was likely stolen or the ripped the sub box out for some other reason.
The Saturn Sky, and the Pontiac Solstice were proudly built in the GM Boxwood plant in Wilmington Delaware. Sadly torn down after the production stopped. No other car plants still operate in My state of Delaware...
I just spoke of that lol. I am a Delaware native myself. I used to ride by that plant all the time in 2018-19 taking my mother in law to work so I watched the process each time I rode by of the building being dismantled. Also remember the Newark assembly for Chrysler with the Aspen/Durango. And at one point the Concorde and Lebaron.
I own a 2007 Saturn sky with about 22,000 miles on it. It's a tan on white with a black and tan interior leather. However it's not the red line as I preferred it without the turbo. Love the car and it's great on the road. I think you would enjoy it a great deal. If you touch the trunk with the roof still up, you will get that Gap. It needs to be reset by completing the top down process. The convertible top goes into the trunk and it's manual.
You walked away from the TRX, which I was hoping to see more of. It didn't look bad and could have been an easy flip. You do not want to get near a Masarati! The timing chains are weak and stretch. They need to be replaced every 60,000 miles. It's an $8,000 job at the dealer. Check out "Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics." He just did one. Everyone I've known who had an Alpha spider loved it.
To be fair with the Challenger, They could win because when they hit the turn, where others have to slow down, the challenger can't, they have no breaks.
I wish to comment on a video a few days ago . I personally appreciate your daily postings every day . one of the unique things about your channel is you are real and keep it real ! The Saturn Sky is the winner of this video! Low miles, overall uniqueness, decent condition, what's not to like? Plus it's a MANUAL!!! Also, I cannot wait to see what Florida has in store for YOU and MWM!!!!
The Gladiator is the only light duty truck with a solid front axle. Other than the Gladiator you have to step up to a 3/4 ton or above for solid front axle
The front end has been completely replaced on the challenger. You can tell just because the hood says 6.1 hemi. That’s from 09-10. From 11-14 it was a 6.4 392. That and obviously as your pointed out the front end is a slightly different shade. The 09-10 plum crazy was slightly darker than the 11-14 plum crazy color
probably had a first owner who loved the car . probably has sound deadening insulation. It has painted calipers. nice head unit and GPS. you might be able to restore the headlights with a turtle wax kit, but a new good condition set is 900. new Amp installed is 800 for 60 watts. You end up with a manual - not so good in stop and go. DMV paperwork is another 300. plus the iaa paperwork is 1000
It looks like the challenger at the beginning had an engine swap or a hood from another model as the hood says 6.1L hemi, although, the engine cover says 392 which is a 6.4L hemi.
Oh Randy! You've gotta get the Saturn Sky! It's a bucket list car for me as well, except I plan to swap in an LS-2, or other LS motor.... That's one of the coolest cars you've ever put in one of your videos!
I like the Saturn Sky. I think it would be a fun little daily for a bit. I always thought they were neat little cars myself. Hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Thank you for the great videos.
Randy thanks for all the great videos this year sounds like more great ones coming up with you and Mike get warm stay save God bless see you in the next one
Those Saturn Sky’s were built in Wilmington, Delaware at the boxwood assembly, I remember the day it closed and about a year later Amazon took over the land.
Behind that seat was a subwoofer. I had a 2007 solstice with the turbo. So I know all about these cars. This has got a turbo. You ought to get it, cuz they're quick.
That yellow Corvette is really nice. Don't see them too often with the cashmere interior. Someone bought it in Velocity Yellow over Cashmere, an interesting color combo. Thanks for the video, Randy.
I’m another fan of the Saturn Sky, I’ve wanted one since they came out. Very nice little car and a standard trans at that. Happy New Year and safe travels.
I always thought the Saturn Sky was a interesting little car and I think you should throw a bid on it. I personally wouldn't go more than a $2,200 bid/offer.
whoa whoa you actually went out in public in that old cadillac? that takes some serious guts there my man lol but anyway loved the content randy your videos are always a hit with me and happy new year to you too and to your family as well!
I know theres tape on it, but could you take a look at that beautiful Lexus SUV/Toyota Landcruiser next to the purple challenger? I absolutely LOVE those trucks
The Saturn Sky is cool. The yellow Corvette looks like nothing but bolt on/pin on panels and they can be pre-painted and installed at your shop. Question about your power pack: if a vehicle is charging, will your power pack recharge when it's connected to a charging vehicle? I ask because I am not familiar enough with the power pack you're using.
These last two cars undercarriage damage I would check the oil before starting not sure we check the oil or not yet I just noticed it last couple videos don't take it the wrong way
I don't know how tall you are, Randy, but I'm 6'2" and I was really interested in getting one of these, too, until I sat in it and tried looking out the side window. You'll notice how much the top curves over and down to meet the top of the door glass. Well, at my height, my head was nearly to the top of the roof and as I looked to the side I'm not so much looking out the glass as I am looking into the convertible top. It is just way too small for me and it might be for you if you closed the door and sat there and looked around. Good luck!
Randy... if im not mistaken... you and MWM had Triumphs!!! They look like the Alfa but a lot cooler!! Also... that Lexus looks like it may have some kind of under carriage damage as that piece under the front bumper looks oddly shaped... hell it might actually be missing the front lower air dam/splitter!!
I wish you would have said something about those cars that were wrapped in red plastic. I've never seen that in all of the copart Walk arounds I've seen.
I would love to make someone with that crap on their car cry when they get passed by my KIA Ev6 and then watch a Tesla Plaid pass ME lol. Oh and the spoiler was a different color to. That was the 1st thing I noticed and it bugged the hell out of me. And ive always thought it weird that the SATURN Sky looks better than its Pontiac sister.
Saturns were great cars until GM ruined them. But they're a gamble now because parts are hard to find. In a lot of ways, my 2018 Focus SE reminds me of my 99 SL2 except it's a lot more comfortable.
I am the previous owner. The sub box was screwed into the car and the expandable foam was used to seal the box. It sounded very good when I sold it. The engine and transmission are in great shape. All fluids are Amsoil and transmission fluid is red line.
Haha the challenger? With the douche bag teenager stickers on it? You're admitting to owning that trash?
Ur lying b/c that was my car. n i still have the foam can to prove it!!!
Come on then whys it there whats the story
It was a custom box. The box was attached with angle brackets and the foam to create a sealed box. Obviously couldn’t do a ported sub box due to space limitations. The guy that purchased it from said it was for his daughter. I’m thinking it was likely stolen or the ripped the sub box out for some other reason.
Ok pal. You’re right. UFO beamed you up too.

Happy Christmas Randy, the Lexus at the left of the challenger look like nice to see

That challenger also had a motor swap too. That one didn’t come with a 392. The hood said 6.1. Interesting 🤔

The Saturn sky manual is fun, most of the used ones have rips and tears on the interior. That one looks good.
Hey Randy, that Saturn sky was my mothers. I learned to drive stick in that car, She sold it about two months ago lol
The front end has been completely replaced on the challenger. You can tell just because the hood says 6.1 hemi. That’s from 09-10. From 11-14 it was a 6.4 392. I think it would be great to have a Saturn Sky on your channel for a while. I like them. I also have a bucket list of cars I still would like to own.
You purchased something out of Sam's back yard didn't you. That will be an epic trip home. Thank you for another great and chilly video.

Love that Saturn sky!! They are animals when you LS swap them!!
I like the Saturn Sky. I think it would be a fun little daily for a bit. I always thought they were neat little cars myself. Hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Thank you for the great videos.
Always felt that these, along with the Solstice, and Mazda would have either a turbo or v6. But like you say nice car.
Adam LZ progressively upgraded his mom's Solstice, from a turbo to an LS swap.
@@geedubb-q1u I believe they did make a turbo version of the Saturn sky in 2006 called the red line not sure about the solstice though.
@@jayherting74 @michaelmunn3978 the solstice turbo was called the GXP, never V6 though
You sure brought a lot to us for 2022. Looking foward to your adventures in the new year. And that red interior in the rover was amazing.
Hey Randy. Would show us that Lexus lx 470 close to the purple dodge. Pleaseee 🙌🏼
Never judge a book by its cover. I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 SRT 8 that people assume is stock yet it's packing more than 1400 horsepower.
Looking forward to following you and Mike in 2023 all the best Randy 👏

On the Sky there was a shop called Mallet Bros. that put LS engines in them. Supposedly, gears 1 and 2 were useless.
Happy Christmas and new year, thank you for the entertainment this year.

Really enjoyed the rapid fire section at the end of the video. It's cool to just see a good variety of all different cars.
Randy. Precision Films is a sign shop in Edmond. They serve OKC & Tulsa.
That 11.3 volts, on your booster pack, is a static voltage, not a load voltage when trying to start a car.
These last two cars undercarriage damage I would check the oil before starting not sure we check the oil or not yet I just noticed it last couple videos don't take it the wrong way
Hello Randy. The 2014 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is a good car. You should put a bid on it Randy. The rest of the cars and trucks are good.
Props for recording these vids in this frigid cold Randy 🎬💯 🚘. Stay warm Bro 👊👍Salute 😎
Like the challenger bummer it wouldn’t start! Saturn looks decent. Hope you win it! Some nice cars coming up especially the defender.

Hey Randy, just wondering if you can make a video on the lexus lx/Toyota land cruiser which was next to the dodge challenger srt8.
That Saturn is a lovely car to look at. It has italian lines. Not too big of a motor. Ideal.
I have a Sky Redline that I love VERY much.
Such a fun car to drive.
The saturn sky had a factory subwoofer behind the seat great little cars fun to drive better than a mazda but not a Honda S2000 either
Those are rare cars that never really seemed to sell I think based upon their numbers really. I think they're cool as hell.
Let’s see a saturn on the channel yes sir
bring a high cap booster. ? can charge many cars with little juice.
Yeah I wanna see the saturn sky, always thought they were cool looking even though I hate convertibles (from northern Canada they are useless)
What are all those cars wrapped in red covers?
Has anyone ever LS or K swapped a Land Rover? That way you might actually have a nice vehicle
That Challenger has the airbag wires cut. It's going to need a new dash harness.
I wish you would have said something about those cars that were wrapped in red plastic. I've never seen that in all of the copart Walk arounds I've seen.
What's the vehicle's with the red bags on them

You should check the vin number on google for the dodge… not good news
That is a lot of miles on that Corvette but you should be ablel make it back with no questions asked
Randy Randy your not to big maybe the space is to small GREAT walk around
Jaguar V6... didn't it say 5.0 on the trunk.... That's the V8 model of the XJL
That Land Rover Defender was super noice! Not gonna lie I rewatched that part a couple times, Randy’s reaction to the interior is priceless
Where is the video of you and Mike driving the Cadillac Seville 700 (?) miles?

Marry Christmas and Happy new year Randy i wish you ans your family health and blessed new year
That's the v8 Jag, Randy... spot the 5.0 badging and red Jag emblems on the wheels... She's a wolf in sheep's clothing...

Can't keep up with us. Boom 💥 hes at the auction
Saturns were great cars until GM ruined them. But they're a gamble now because parts are hard to find. In a lot of ways, my 2018 Focus SE reminds me of my 99 SL2 except it's a lot more comfortable.
I'm more interested in 100 Series Landcruiser (LX470) next to the SRT.
they’re terrific vehicles and I only speak 4 me but I’m kinda Charger & Challengered out.
That purple Challenger could be interesting.
You need TWO Noco Boost Pro chargers charged to take with you in case one goes out.
Awesome show Thanks for your update .
Lol I like the fact the challengers hood says 6.1 but it’s a 392 under it 😭
Happy holidays..
I like the challenger. You can't keep up with cause it has no brakes.
That is a GM tilt column in the old 47 Ford
Quick question was the silver soft top also known as a Pontiac You're like I have seen it for branded as a Pontiac
Any of my sub 10 second quarter mile bikes would have no trouble keeping up.
Hi. What's up with the cars with the red tarps on them?
Those are hazzard or death automobiles people that didn't make it from accident or gun shot.

Hi Randy, the Jag looks nice.
