What is the voltage coming off the engine control module to activate the air heater intake relay. I am getting 3.5 volts from the engine control module to activate the air intake heater relays but they are not activating. Does it need more voltage to activate the relays.
I live in TX and only in the last 3 years has this happened when it gets cold....the 1st year it was tough to get started ..but would when cold testy start...then last year it seemed to have gotten even harder to start....this year it seems it wont start at all.....could that be the intake heater ?
Thank you for the video. Being that I don't have the diagnostic tool to force the ECU to trigger the relay I am checking everything by volt meter. I replaced my relays as one was bad (bench tested them) but I may have a secondary issue. I am only getting 3.6 volts from the ecu to the relay. I'm in San Diego so we don't get that cold so I'm not sure if possible it just isn't cold enough for the ECU to send 12 volts to trigger the system. What would you suggest I check next?
Hi can some one help me please?????? I have 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Diesel and i have check engine light on. I connect computer it showed me (P2607 Low Voltage at The 2 Intake Air Heater Relay) Any idea what relay is it talking about? Thanks
