Im currently sitting on 24 years in the Marine Corps i also found a passion in riding and unfortunately my father also died of COVID-19. Still I love your video and both of you ride safe.
Sorry for the loss - Nick's story especially over the passed year hits close to home with all the riding and time I spend with my Dad, that was one of the things we always had in common
I only regret that I never got to meet the man and get a ride in with him - It goes without saying that he would be proud of you and all of your various accomplishments this year - Looking forward to that tribute build!
@@Bluis5445 Ahh, to be honest had the leather ones for a year now and I just wash them when I wash my bike with good ole soap and water. They hardly get dirty
I have had zero issues with my motor swap, runs great. I have no issues with S&S either but I also have plenty of buddies that have had issues with their S&S motors.
I am definitely one of those buddies who has had issues with an S&S motor - If I could do it again, I would probably just stick to the screaming eagle offerings
@@supakamario the reason they came up w/ the style was cause back in the day if the cops showed up looking for a FXR or a Dyna they all looked the same. Everyone had tight lips so nobody could be pinched. It's just a trend. I don't do the club scene. But from 1 Vet to another like the gentleman said its something that brings us together.
@@FXDXT01 sure all I know is I'm seeing more in more ppl piggybacking of clubs. "Club style bike" (which makes no sense cause there's no such thing as a club style bike, ppl in clubs ride what they ride) "club style vest " "club style helmets". Like the guy that has a 3 piece patch settup that says lone wolf..... u wanna look like your in a club without being able to cut the mustard... ppl who aren't in an MC should not through around club moniker like they know what their talking about cause they don't
@@supakamario I agree 100%! I had several opportunities to join some of the larger diamond clubs but to me everyone is out for themselves now days and some of them are no more than a bunch of bully. I'm not going to talk politics cause I personally dealt with all of it when I was in the service myself. It's just a bike man. If that was makes him happy then so be it. If it's a scene that he fits in then great. Just keep in mind one thing, men and women like me and this Sailor and probably you too fought for that reason for you to have that choice to do whatever the hell you want to your bike. Keep the rubberside down and be safe.
