David Allen Remembered

David Allen, to some a Brother, Uncle, Cousin or Friend passed away February 15th. He was smart, funny, musically talented, and deeply compassionate. He had some serious struggles in life and I know he had love, joy, many good friends, and some great experiences over the years. He was special. He'll be missed. May he rest in peace. He deserves it.

Brian,
To say I am devastated is an understatement. David and I have been friends for 55 years. We lost track along lifes journey and after over a decade of searching we reconnected years back. For those years I am thankful, We have been here in good and not such good times. But to get a call from him in the wee hours (I am now in Missouri) was always welcomed. It will take time for this to sink in and I am blessed he has sent me many of his songs and I will have them for comfort. Prayers and love for all of you who loved him as I do.
