I was waiting for the egg but loved his attention to detail with rice. I bet it had a great smoky roasted character. And just brushed lightly over the charred soy sauce. Classy!
That was an absolutely gorgeous lobster claw, I think your best ever. I don't mind all the attention paid to the garlic, and I actually prefer the basic rice preparation. The steak looked good, it was almost translucent! But a relatively small portion. Overall it is a nice and simple preparation, high quality but not in the top five.
Good garlic chips, as they should be, evenly toasted across, no white. Even if it is Wagyu at medium rare, I want a good sear on the top and bottom, a bit of dark or brown bark. That's how I order it. Looks like he poached it a bit by using the copper cover.
Inakaya in floor 101 in ICC is rated lower, but honestly, tepppanyaki is all about the quality of ingredients, not really the cooking. it's expensive, but the view is amazing up there, and the quality of the food is high.
This place certainly didn't stand out among the dozens of other teppanyaki places you've been to. Small portions and very barebones fried rice. Lots of time spent on the garlic and rice but that's not what i would think places like this are judged by. Would love to know what gets it rated so high.
Damn. They put out some Baseball Park sized bites. Hand me a knife chef!. Enjoying my Hickory smoked Boneless Ribeye that I smoked and grilled myself. Almost Porterhouses, with the fat ring all the way around. Nice bowl of rice.
The craftmanship on that teppanyaki flatbed- BAD.
Chef put more effort and attention into browning that garlic than some people put into their own kids lmao
Likes your parents for example lmao
Haven’t heard that joke before
I was thinking the same thing lol
Garlic gotta come out perfect too.
Chef forgot to wear his HAT

7:27 that little piece of lobster was DANCIN

Unless you were there eating this meal.
I enjoy chefs who cook rather than show off knife skills.
Nice video.

Eating my Boston lobsters at home and watching a chef cooking a lobster claw in HongKong on UA-cam, LOL>
15:22 the pile of wasabi.... he gonna die :D
Does not look like the best one you ever went to, but probably very yummy. Thanks for great video's.
Early to an Aden video. Great videos!
I was just thinking where's your Hong Kong Teppanyaki video! Looks awesome!

Now I’m hungry.
the best part, the juice made when frying the steak should be used to stir fry the rice. this should be able to make that plain rice 200% more yummy .
welcome to hong kong!
Wonderful video; like always. I thought the “medium” steak still looked blue.
I assume he meant medium rare. It is a crime to cook A5 to medium well 😉
Me: excited about throwing eggs and fiery vegetables.
Chef: Andddd almost brown and eensy weensy moreee......
i miss you hong kong ;(
We all do. And will continue to miss HK, unfortunately
Once the garlic oil made from real butter when into the trash I only saw red
Good chef
Aden aka Teppanyaki Hunter

3 minutes on garlic. $120 for half a lobster and half a steak... feel small.
First person to comment! WOW 😁 love this!
the tail of lobster has a strong desire to live.
이곳은 꼭 가보고싶네요😊
Comparing diamonds with gold is not easy because they are the same.
Stfu, gold is highest standard.

🥰super
Nice video. What is the lobster sauce. Thanks
That steak is not medium.
nah its medium
True.. it was not..
Yeah it needed a few more minutes
I would love to see some Fire on that foods
@13:23 Wasabi overloaded...
Almost a thousand dollars?!?!?!
Hong Kong Dollars.
@@Wasmachineman didn't know that was the currency there!
@@Hardy4Boy20 Yep. Bonus fact, it’s pegged to the USD so it’s always around 1 USD = 7.8 (7.75-7.85) HKD!
130 USD.
I'm guessing Aden is a banker, judging from the cities he stays
OH m g , YOU WERE IN HK...
@13.27 Some Steak to accompany your Wasabi?
Nice 👍
$946??
91st
Sanka was the name of a popular decaf instant coffee growing up in the seventies, and its still around.
Not the best Aden ever showed..
Watch pre pandemic.. there were many greats..
lots of salt
Starters: garlic slivers
Entree: minced garlic
5:18. Its moving! 😱
It really is amazing at these chefs you video, really sad that here in America tgey can't even get your order right at McDonald's.
Let's take every bit of juice that comes out of this steak and throw it away!
Far to expensive. Rice much to late. Steak far to small. For what I've seen in Japan it is not (my personal opinion) worth visiting.
Lol rich people food
Actually this chef was pretty bad.. good work on the garlic and rice. But his attention to detail and temp on the meat would be disqualifying for me
Again... Tepayaki 🤣
Nice video. Do you think this is worth $780 though?
That's Hong Kong Dollars, about $99 and change in USD.
@@jakerson181 Thanks I should've guessed. I thought maybe Hong Kong had switched to Chinese yuan.
итс нот окей
呢個撚樣邊夠班啊
Dont waste the food !!!
Tidak kenyang
A ese arroz le han dado más vueltas que al cádaver de la reina.
sliced garlic playtime !This type of cooking is boring to watch
What was the cost in USD ?
About USD 120.
Oh jeez, what the hell is up with you and the wasabi? You just pile it on, don't you?
Yuck
