You are the most amazing man Hazey. You'll never know how many people you've seen through this clusterfeckery the world's been the past few years. I'm one of them and I cannot express how much gratitude I have to you for that. Keep walking, mate. You're carrying us all in your pack.

Me and my Mrs are in our late 70s. Every time we go for a walk, just in a local country park, we get back in the car and one of us says, “glad we did that”. Nature, trees, views. It works wonders. Keep going out, out.

Probably the best video you have ever done, honestly, I don't think you know how much h you help people. My daughter is struggling at the moment, turns out a lot more than I knew about and it breaks my heart. Watching this has given me the idea to take her on a wild camp with me and my dog. It's far far from what she's used to but I reckon she'll get some good stuff from it so thanks for giving me the idea mate. When you find out that a loved one is having these terrible thoughts of ending it all, you feel panic and dread and fear all at once, I mean how can i a 57 year old fart help a gorgeous 30 year old woman, but I think I can by taking her to the hills and living with nature for a couple days.
Anyway pal, you truly are an inspiration to so many people, long may it continue my friend

I’m a mental health nurse and so I’m trained to help people through tough times. Despite my training I still often find it hard, so you should be really proud at the great work you do and the courage you have to be vulnerable and reach out to others. Keep it up Hazey and hope to see you somewhere beautiful in nature one day.

Mate, I was literally talking about SADs today with one of my sons. I used to struggle with it every year and get so depressed about it. After I left the army it was a struggle and looking back now I was a mess, especially after the breakup of my relationship with my sons mother. Being outdoors and giving myself a test and pushing myself in all weathers and circumstances helped me. Adversity made me healthier mentally and put me in a better place. That was 17 years ago and although I have small troughs of depression, I feel a lot happier and content. Depression is not the end of the world.

It gets better. I had a breakdown over 22 years ago. I got lots of help and support, took time out of life, and did what I could, when I could. The most important thing I learned through that adventure is to stop believing all the thoughts I think because most of them were not compassionate or empowering toward me. I still slip sometimes, but I know the symptoms, and I have a vast toolbox to help myself get back to compassionate and kindness.

I'd recommend the outdoors to anybody who can get out there though, it really is something that cannot be replicated by any other means and it is incredible for clearing out a jumbled head!

Just was on the edge of saying enough is enough. And your video came on.
All I can say is 'Thank you '.
    It saved me.

I can relate to this completely. The outdoors is my personal doctor, doesn’t cost me a penny and isn’t going anywhere. Without it, I’d be fooked.

I started feeling ill around the 5th and honestly its only now that im starting to feel better. It absolutely floored me and being out of routine for 2 solid weeks has been sh*t. Made me realise how important the out of work stuff is....like going to the gym, jogging, walking in the woods, creative projects etc That's what keeps my mind balanced 🧠
Appreciate your videos, they've put a positive spin on many a tough days. 🙏🏻 Make sure you give yourself the time to recover properly, you can't pour from an empty cup. 💚 - Mandy

Hard to know what to say after watching that, you always manage to hit the spot and have probably helped way more people than you will ever know. Thanks for sharing and helping everyone who’s struggling realise they’re not alone, it’s all any of us can do 😊

Yep. 2022 has been a right old challenge. I had two doses of the Covid. Work (NHS) has been all over the place. Right now, Boiler knackered watching this in me thermals and under a blanket with a mug of tea. To be fair, there's been plenty of good things in '22. Lets hope we can all enjoy whatever ride 2023 has in store. All the best for Xmas and New Year. 😀

Try getting off the tablets, UA-cam depression meditation and meditate in bed before you go to sleep and when you wake up in the morning, after you have meditated listen to ‘positive affirmations’ again every night and every morning in bed.
