Hopefully it's better than the regular soft flame insert. I have a 50 zippo wall display case that is full so it's not like I don't like Zippo, but the standard soft flame insert was a huge disappointment. The fact that I have to hold the button down kind of defeats the purpose. At that point, why wouldn't I just use a Bic? And also y'all should look at the Thunderbird insert. They do it right. It looks almost indistinguishable from a standard Zippo insert and it functions almost the same too. Whenever the cam arm is open, it lets fuel out and then you strike it like a normal Zippo. It's an awesome design. And that's what I was hoping your soft flame insert would be like, but when I bought it, it was not. If only I could have the nice solid cam from a real Zippo insert and the proper look and feel of that Thunderbird insert, that would be the best. It looks and sounds like a regular Zippo but none of the fuel evaporation issues
Aren’t you having any issues with your thunderbird insert? I heard that the gas activation in the hinge is failing after a while and starts to leak that’s why Zippo decided to make this kind of a design so it is as reliable as possible. I’m using my soft flame Zippo insert every day for almost a year now and I love it! I would definitely recommend it to anybody who likes to carry a Zippo but doesn’t want to worry about lighter fluid evaporating, getting dirty while filling or having your flame change the taste of what you are smoking. Same thing if you like to fidget with your Zippo as I do than you can play with it as much as you like and it will stay full :)
@@peterwalker2052 I had seen a review of the Thunderbird soft flame insert and the reviewer mentioned that the butane does eventually start to leak out through the cam function. That's why I went with the butane torch Zippo insert and after using it daily for almost 2 weeks so far so good. Having to hold down the igniter button doesn't bother me. Sure one can buy other refillable butane lighters but I feel the Zippo torch insert is pretty good quality and worth it.

@@peterwalker2052 thr hinge is really weak and doesn't keep the lid from wobbling. I like firm lids so I don't use it often tbh

God Bless American Manufacturers!
These are made in China lmao
Let’s keep the faith that the case holding the insert is not…

Will they or won't they fit into an Armor brass case? I've read both.
They are not designed to fit in an armor case.
Thank you. I put it in a regular brass case. Works excellent.@@zippo
Nice for my crack pipe🤯
U can use a regular zippo lighter to vaporize ur crack, just don’t burn it.
😅😄Maybe I liked it
man I wish they make the holes in the insert real. having it be dents looks awkward
👍®️💯🇺🇸
Kilroy was here (my only problem is is that it’s butane)
