    Super example of control of cutting tool in any language. Would be great to view the completed dial remounted watch.

    what material are the dials you carved from? What materials can the dial be engraved with? oh ua is that a 116° chisel? Thank you

      I think this dial was brass.. and the graver was a 116 M42 I think.. for brass it does not have to be super hard. But I can also do stainless steel but them I prefer a M48 or Carbalt graver which is a lot more strong so the tip does not break that easy.. :-)

    I've tried engraving on a small medium. I used 120°. but in the leaves it always goes out of line that I draw. how many degrees did you use in the video? for small media such as watches and zippo kotek how many degrees do you recommend especially for cutting back bone??

      Hi, I use 116 for almost everything.. outline and shading. The same graver.. it’s just practice.. :-) I know some like 120, some 116, some 105.. In this video as well I was using a 116 from a Lindsay sharpening template :-)
