When you said, "aluminum" and commented that you've been watching a lot of American TV, I laughed out loud! I watch a lot of British TV here in the USA and find myself using British slang or pronunciations a lot.
My hubby and I were talking about makeup today. How the ladies in the old US westerns wore makeup. I've wondered for some time about those brushes being toothbrushes, they're rather large for human mouths. The jury is still out, lol. Thank you for another lovely outing
Watching from Georgia, USA 🍑. I’m almost finished binge watching from start to finish every episode y’all have on your channel. I’m sure you’ve heard this many times but y’all take me to a very happy place. I’m 65 and lost my Mum a little over a year ago. You do bring such joy. Also if you read this I wanted you to know that for the first time in my life I now have a 🤍 dollhouse 🤍. Due to your inspiration. From my heart to yours…thank you ✌️♥️
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺 Love the idea for the owl. It will make a lovely pin cushion. I’ll be interested to see what you do with the sardine tin too. Sorry to hear about your car Kate. Hopefully you’ll find another at a reasonable price.
Did my heart good to hear a young person who loves marmite. You have great taste ,kit. Better luck with your next car , who knows one day it may be a Rolls.
HI LADIES I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING YOU TWO FINDING THINGS I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE .KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IT GIVES ME HOURS OF ENJOYMENT I AM 78 YRS OLD BUT I DON'T FEEL THAT OLD IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE IT SOMETIMES BUT IF WE KEEP LIVING WE WILL BE GETTING OLDER.I AM GLAD THAT I CAN STILL LIVE IN MY HOME SINCE I HAVE TW YOUNGER SISTERS THAT TAKE GOOD CARE OF ME. I AM FROM THE U.S.A. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU AND YOUR DAUGHTER DO AND IT GIVES A LOT OF JOY TO US OLDER FOLKS GOD BLESS YOU.
Ever think of putting lights on the doll houses. Love your content. I use your videos for calming and decompressing. You girls are wonderful. Much love from Texas. Leah and mu fur baby Scarlatt Velcro 🐕🇨🇱🐈⬛❤
There won't be much there. I've gone through it multiple times. The badgers have had a quiet autumn/winter this year, so less new treasure. Keep walking up those woods and you will get to another dump. Sundays the workmen aren't there! Just follow the stream the opposite way it flows.
Not a fire at the tip but how did people heat their houses in Victorian times they had coal fires and a lot of the rubbish got thrown into the fire then taken away by the dust men to the dump were they would continue to burn hence the melted bottles
Oh deary me Kate. Isn't it funny how we attach ourselves to our belongings, such as cars. They grow personalities and become part of our lives. We depend on our cars to get about without any hassle. So when they break down or die, as you put it....well were stuck. Well you are. Its not convenient for those that lark. How many busses go past the places you lark at? Then your restricted to catching the bus to get home. Not ideal. Plus theres getting to work. Eeek....what a pain I hope your car situation is sorted soon. This dump looked so full of things. A definite trip back needed. I loved the green colour of the twisted bottle . That was a cute curiosity. Plus i too liked the fish tin. I look forward to seeing what you do with that. Thanks for a lovely relaxing watch as always. X😊
Funnily, I watch so many British things that I too pronounce words your way!!!😂😂 Al-oo-min-ee-um! Many others too. But people do look strangely at you. 🤷🏻♀️
Oh my goodness gracious! You LIKE Marmite?!? lol How is that possible? Of course, I’m inn the USA, so wasn’t raised with it. Great bottle! Thanks, as always, for marvelous adventures!
Cinnamon oil can also be used in tooth and gum care. I love the wonky poison bottle. It's a beautiful color and would make a wonderful display base for some treasure.
What a great new dump I bet you will be going back there again. Love the little Marmite jar I have one just like that and it looks lovely with primroses in it. An unusual poison bottle and a wonky one. The little brush coiuls have been for top hats. Stay safe and keep saving for the new car.❤🐞
Such a plentiful choice of bottles, another visit on a lovely spring day is definitely warranted. No doubt other goodies await. Sorry to hear about your car Kate, good luck with the replacement, Aston Martin perhaps!!!
How exciting it is for you to find a new bottle dump ladies. I'm sorry that your car died, Kate. I wish you good luck in finding a replacement for it. Y'all found some cute bottles, especially the wonky green poison one. Love and best wishes from eastern North Carolina! ❤
One of my absolute favorite finds, a green poison and as a meltie. I liked the melted brown poison too. Love the owl. Oh how I wants to go to England so that I can go and mudlarking, beach combing and rummage around in bottle dumps.
Oh I hope y’all get to go back and explore some more! How exciting! I would have wanted to take every bottle that wasn’t broken! We don’t have bottle dumps like this in Texas or at least I haven’t seen any! Kate sorry to hear about your car! Thanks for sharing!
@Kate, I’m so sorry to hear about your car! Sending you positive energy and wishes that you have a new car soon! Best wishes always! And we will be here awaiting the return of you two amazing women & all your future videos!!! 🤗🤗❤❤
I think maybe your brush you found could be for cleaning a bowler hat . You found some nice things and I like the green poison bottle best . Thanks for sharing x
Oh we have been treated two videos in two days, loving it, that bottle dump wow, l wouldn’t know where to start, will you be going back there again ladies?, and Kate sorry about your car too, hope you get a new one soon, tfs x Julie
A few different bottles there that I've not seen before like the Macdonald's bottle...having relatives who were Macdonald's I might be distantly related to them....as for the delay in releasing a video we understand life happens so don't worry we'll be here when ever you put out your wonderful content..till next time God bless you both...Karl from eastern Canada
Love watching everything you do on you tube something I do in my garden I use small items placed on top of my bamboo sticks to protect my 👁 balls from being poked upside down bottles you have many pretty ones put ribbons on also keeps birds away just a thought for you're allotment x
what a plethora of treasures!! I would be over the moon if I could find somewhere like that near me! Thank you for another lovely film! kindest regards, k
😊😊😊 so excited about the new dump great finds .I so love the little bottles and just wonder what finds yall will uncover next time love from Tennessee.
You two are very intriguing 🧐 you find old things n find such beauty in them and bring them to life it’s really quite adorable. 🥰 A very unique and inspiring day for me to start mud larking and also very lovely way to learn about history all the things our ancestors would have used very cool 😎
Something different and just as much fun. The two of you always make my week better and I look forward to the next adventure. Much love and hugs from Sacramento, Calif. 🥰🥰 xx
I was so excited today when I found an old clock in one our versions of a charity shop here in the states. I fell in love with your borrowers clock and am very excited to create my own! Love your videos ladies!!❤❤❤
I had to buy a new car not to long ago they can be pricey. But mine had been cremated by the criminal who stole it . I had that car for 10 years it was still going good too I was so angry.
That was cute aluminium, love that tin.I love sardines, but never seen a fish at the bottom and I am old in my upper 70s.My favorite also the tin.I think the brush was to clean your boots ,mostly suade.
The first time I heard the name Alu-min-ium..I'm Canadian, and we say it Alu-minium hahaha.I heard the UK way from you! Thought it was something exotic! Those perming machines look torturous..such great finds!
I've always loved seafood in cans, and you know, I've never seen a sardine can made out of aluminum (I'm in California) All of the ones I've seen have always been made of tinned steel, often with a key to roll up the lid, but I don't think I've had one of those for a while now. If it hadn't been made of aluminum, it would be gone. In Arizona, it seems that the arid conditions allow all kinds of steel cans to exist for decades! Albeit with a coat of oxidation to obscure their origin.😅 I'm glad you found a new dumpsite. I can't help wondering, what make of car were you talking about? (We're a family of mechanics). Great video!
Lovely video, such a calm serene voice. How nice to find you on my algorithm. Subscribed to you and your channel. I have the same speed and energy and feel comfortable with your content. So lucky to be together with your Mom. My dream.
Barker and Dobson, sweet manufacturers. Boiled sweets, made in the Everton district of Liverpool. Famous for 'Everton mints' like chewy humbugs. Lovely sardine tin....
