- As the remnants of Hurricane Ian passed through Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Reading & Northern ran their first fall foliage train of the year from Reading’s Outer Station to Jim Thorpe and return. Power for the trip was former Reading 4-8-4 T-1 #2102. All videos by my daughter Jillian Rule. Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy!!!!
That was a fast upload! Some really nice captures as usual Jillian. Some really amazing smoke and steam plumes you caught especially on the return trip!
Jillian, that was excellent. You show great poise under pressure, never letting that huge monster disturb your filmmaking. You made a finer film than most railfans of any age. I feel honored being captured by your camera.
Best wishes to you. You can be sure, I will be looking for your screen credit in the future.
Great job Jillian! It was cool to meet the 3 of yalls in the Mc. Donald's!
Thanks for putting up with Wesley and his non stop talking!!! Lol
Awesome Video!!! Great work! It was nice nice meeting you all! My son sure enjoyed your company before the train arrived! Keep up the great work!
Nice video work of the Fall Foliage ride from Reading to Jim Thorpe & back!
Looking good!! Awesome video and what a great display from the 2102 as usual. Looks like you hammered out some close locations too 😮 loving 3059 on the LGSR train too!
Yea man, that was a nice surprise when we walked into town. And yes, we came in hot to the second Industrials Rd shot lol
Cool. I like the stuart tank in that one scene
that belongs to the owner of the railroad
Very nice!
Thanks!!!!
Awesome video. Thumbs up.
Lol, that's me at 3:46 poking my head out!
I was on that train it was fun
How in the world did you beat the train to so many locations. Impressive!
Smaller crowds than normal and planned ahead. If we had time between planned spots we stopped in
