    Nice job Chris,we usually do stuff like that, where access is the hard part and theres usually 10 yards or less at a pipe outlet. The only problem is, you made it look easy!

    Whoever thought that pond layout up wasn't the smartest of people. If it werent't for the fact that it'd probably cause extra erosion, I'd be tempted to leave that haul road in.

    • @davecalvo1939

      I agree Sandy, huge waste of time and money to restore the bank after constructing an access road to the culvert discharge. You know they will be needed to get to it again at some point.

  • @kepplec
    @kepplec 6 років тому +1

    With the sand being so clean, it makes you wonder where it came from exactly.. and what's that area look like. Was it a pipe outlet, or just running down the embankment? If its runoff, then the erosion farther up will probably be another job later on down the road.

    Here in Oregon, private ponds are a threat to the authority of the state government, as they represent anarchy and actively foment rebellion wherever they are found, being filled with stolen state property (i.e. water that touched the ground), So I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to leave the new access road?

    Does the sediment have to be hauled to a hazard waste disposal site? I mean, run off from roads and parking lots can have some nasty toxins in it.
