6 and a half hours ? A mind blowing amount of work achieved. So efficient! Imagine how long a couple of men with barrows and shovels would take to do this!
13 minutes uploaded.,,,we did not have a letsdig18 video Monday evening so it`s great to have one Tuesday May 4th. No rain -we see you are still making dust. Another fine job by Chris and Uncle John.
We had beavers in a lake by us, and they manged to block off a whole 10x10 concrete culvert that went under a railroad fill, and raised the lake by like 5'. They're genius little bastards.
There is a lake in the Adirondacks Mt in NY and the lake is as large as it is because beavers laid trees across standing trees and then packed mud and debris against it to seal it off. If you go in the stream side of it ,it is a log wall with the water several feet over your head
realisticlly that was a night or 2 of work for a beaver on a mission. when we had our problem i blew the dam and the next night it was back and then some
Oh that's where the barbells got off too. Had a good chuckle at the chain loop and cinder blocks as well. Quite the collection in there. All the neighbors need to get together and volunteer to give those returning beavers a very hard time of it. They never mix well in close proximity to mankind. Their stubborn runs right up against our stubborn. Excellent results as always, yet again Chris.
I wanted to see how big that beaver is that moved old Jim Bob weights. Chris that was a awesome repair and in 6 HOURS! You truly are the pond king. Anyone else would still be planning what to do. How Winson doing?
I know that the way people handle and feel about beavers has changed over time. That being said, every once in the while you find a few that need to be evicted.
If I bought some land and there was a natural pond there and they were there before me, I might consider letting them stay. But, if I built a pond for my own purposes and they showed up, I'd likely end up evicting them somehow.
You know there's never a disappointment in watching a 45 minutes to an hour video with Chris he always makes everything looks so good and so smooth and so clean. boy does he make a fucking disaster look like a disaster when he's cleaning up...all that debris looked like potential fire pit material and some how after moving it 3 times he made it no existant...great job Chris as always
The end product looks amazing! You do such a great job bringing in good dirt and getting rid of all of the old crap. You did a great job laying all of that matting. The grass will grow in really well! You did that job very cleanly!
hhiii friend i think i missed part three of pond over grown you put last a concret over flow in but i missed last bit when its finished ..?.i think it was one you was doing last week..anyway lets see this next one love watching all your work friend they look great at end...
Beavers (more or less) died out in the UK in the 17C but some are being reintroduced. Seeing here what they can do and how much effort has to be devoted to fixing the problem makes me wonder if this is the best thing to do. Nonetheless it is fascinating to see how pond overflows can be designed to accommodate beaver issues.
And I'll be honest that is what brought me to your channel years ago was the beaver dam blow outs..since then it's been pond building...but I remember when you almost got stuck in that river of mud and you had used another excavator to help pull that one out...always impressed, hence the reason I come back
Damn , That clay packed in Real Nice !! Man that overflow looks real good !! "Smooth" !! Damn water gofers had it tore up pretty bad !! lolol... But, you got it looking Super Nice as always Chris !! I was waiting for a Big Ol' Snake to come out from under that plywood.....lololol... Have a Great Evening Man !! On too the Next.....
I grew up on a backhoe and would consider myself an operator 10000 + hours or so but from watching your videos for years having no experience on an excavator i was confident enough to take job as an excavator operator. So far so good, the first few days was a bit of a learning curve but I got it now. Not gonna lie I kept trying to spin the seat around lol
I don't think the beavers put that there, it would be funny though haha --- from what I understood the landowners rigged-up all sorts of things, to hold down the pipes from floating because they were 6-ft too long.
another neat job you take pride in your work and it shows also alot of work to do in such a short period of time and come out so neat can't beat experience thanks for the videos
I'm almost surprised we didn't see a Beaver standing on the shore shaking a tiny paw at Chris in Rage screaming "YOU BASTARD! IT TOOK US 9 MONTHS TO BUILD THAT AND YOU DESTROY IT IN 15 MINUTES!!! YOU'LL BE HEARING FROM OUR LAWYERS!!!"
A well sequenced video ! Always a pleasure to see your projects evolve.! Have to admit I am partial to beaver dams as a multiple use area nearby has seven dams that most users are not aware of. All that in 6.5 hours. Utterly amazing. Sure there was not many more people working there. : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : )
It’s amazing what a beaver can do to a pond or a creek the crap that they can pack up there and stop water from running but anyway Chris another great video you and John and yawls family stay safe and keep the videos coming brother
Hunting season for beaver ends on the 15'th of May here in Sweden... A decent hiding and a 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser would be quite efficient there I think...
Chris, glad I found your channel I enjoy watching the beautiful work those Bravers are good carpenters and causes problem they are to admired great little critters keep the good work up, I have watch your programs about a week thank you for the excitement and the comeness of your voice may God continuely blss you to be a blessing to others
That’s just fun to watch. God has blessed you with a great work ethic and an eye for excellency. Just don’t get a big head. Haha. Not sure what to put after something like that, lol seems out of my league.
Massive beaver bling!!! Wow, nice haul!
6 and a half hours ? A mind blowing amount of work achieved. So efficient! Imagine how long a couple of men with barrows and shovels would take to do this!
It depends on how big the whip is.
Impressive since he managed to record it all too!
And would 2 men do as good of a job
I was so excited when I saw the cinder blocks and chain! I thought we might have found Hoffa! Sadly, no.
Chris found him years ago and transplanted him to atop a very high hill!

@@user-ue9ld7dv2x Same to you, JO - Use your words, little baby
Chris points at the pond and says "Dam....
Beaver points at Chris and says DAMN!!!!
Very clever of the beavers to raise the water level in the pond by placing metal plates across the mouths of the overflow pipes.
🤣🤣🤣
They've been taking shop classes when they're young!!!
Leave it to beavers😀
Q no
Steel plates are no problem for beavers that work out with home gym weights.
Such a tender touch used to take that apart... your skill never ceases to amaze me.
You could do it to if you say in that seat 40 hours a week
Anyone with a little coordination in a month can become extremely good at running a hoe but its not that, it knowing (what) to do is the key!
13 minutes uploaded.,,,we did not have a letsdig18 video Monday evening so it`s great to have one Tuesday May 4th. No rain -we see you are still making dust. Another fine job by Chris and Uncle John.
And, they didn't even get MUDDY!
The sound of the wood crunching always makes me hungry for potato chips
🤣🤣🤣
It does
🤣🤣 Me too ! Or Cheetos !
😂😂🔥
Dam 🦫 now I want some chips
Goodness , my man has wasted NO expense on erosion control measures , awesome job , looks great.
You need to hire those Beavers. They do dam good work.....
Your work always amazes me. I'd love to see this again after the grass has grown in.
Wow 🤩nice comments, You comment so good where are you from?
My new favorite statement. “The abyss of everything”.
Well done as usual. 👍
That wee blade on the mini is a lot more effective than I'd have imagined.

Just imagine if they knew how to run heavy equipment!
Over here in the UK were employing them around the country to help stop flooding, there on UK rates so are a little more expensive!

I bet those beavers are JEALOUS! They just watched you do years worth of work for them in five minutes with that mini🤣
realisticlly that was a night or 2 of work for a beaver on a mission. when we had our problem i blew the dam and the next night it was back and then some
Sad no beaver damn busting (that's how i found you many many years ago) but I am still here watching every vid! Awesome job!!!

What a wonderful job of restoring that lovely little pond. You are the pond expert for sure.
I wondered what happened to the barbells. Dam beavers are devious,
Wow you finesse that bucket better than I do a fork and knife.
Chris is the pond whisperer, great job Chris!
I never thought I'd see you using the scoop to "work out" !!!! lol
Thank you for your video.
❤ ñow too get the grade
You are a true artist with that machine. None better in my book. Greetings from Lancaster county Pa.
Check out the Petr Smotek videos ,he picked up an egg with a machine!!
Got to (grudgingly) admire beavers - same work ethic as Chris!
I don't know if I would mess with these beavers. Looks like they have been pumping Iron.
🤣🤣🤣
HHHAA, Love it! :)
Beat comment ever
Nice project Chris,looks great!
Dude. You are a wizard with those machines. I have not seen anybody that good before
Looking great Chris

You proved how hard beavers work!!!
You do some good work brother I enjoy watching you're video and saying hello from the pickle capital of north Carolina

Truly amazing work by beavers. Nature’s civil engineers.
Beavers did not close off the overflow.
Another superb job Chris
Only six hours?!! Incredible change. The customer sure did hire the right contractor.
Great job Chris 6.5 hours later total transformation.
Nice job . You really know how to take care of the beaver.
Chris another job made easy, you really know how to do it. Thanks for sharing. Kevin
Clever Beavers in USA. using tin sheet to block the Overflow!
That has to be a happy customer. In and out in day with quality work. Some guys would have barely started by the time you were chaining up to leave.
Very interesting project you had in this one. Them beavers are keeping you famous!!
Really nice looking job, silk purse out of a pig ear!
Great work as always like all your videos thank you for sharing
