I just wanna say that while i was just cuting sounds in the past inside cubase i realised that i have to detect perfect silence to cut, otherwise this would result in the "ffffpp" sound, the clip sound that nobody likes to listen.Anyway.Keep doing good job my dear friend!

Hey thanks for replying. The idea behind cut out audio that has no need to there is to remove unwanted build up of noise floor. As far as the fffpp clip you mentioned. I use the fade in/out tool to remove any clipping that may be detected. For vocals I will leave in the breath of the vocalist and use clip gain to turn them down if necessary.

Thank you for doing these videos especially for us just learning Cubase.

This is not dry recording and this is why when you cut part of its silence you can not detect it.Cut sounds can make you detect it because silence comes violently after the dry sound and while this silence moves out,you take out important parts of this silence that your ears dont listen, but your ears feel, and this what make us know something not physical is going on with this recording.
