Today we are starting off Marvel's Phase 2 with iron man 3!! As Always Can we get 500 likes for the Marvel reactions!!

This movie is very underrated in the MCU, but I think it's a very important one. The first Iron Man showed us how Tony was, a genius billionaire playboy who was capable of creating the Iron Man suit. During the second Iron Man movie, Tony starts to realize that he can't, and shouldn't, do everything alone and shouldn't be the end-all know-all. And this movie reminds us that Tony is more than the suit. That without it, he is still a superhero. The suit is just an extension of him.
To answer your question about whether SHIELD can help send other Avengers to help each other, remember that the Avengers are not controlled by SHIELD. They choose to fight alongside SHIELD but have no obligation to do so.
Also, the characters have their own lives to deal with. For example, during Iron Man 3's timeline, Captain America was just transitioning back to a life in the modern world. Natasha and Clint were helping SHIELD with their missions, Thor was off world etc.
For the most part, you won't see massive crossovers except in the main Avengers movies.
He has such little knowledge it's fun to watch his many mistakes.
Most of the MCU movies are happening concurrently to each other
Pepper was a bit unsupportive in the beginning of this movie. But Tony also wasn't communicating as to why he was distracting himself with his work. So it goes both ways. But when it comes to her getting mad at Tony after the suit got aggressive with her. Thats completely justified. How else would you expect her to act?
what? It wasnt tonys fault the suit reacted that way. Why would she be angry at tony and even decide to not sleep together anymore as if tony commanded the suit to attack her. And even worse she saw tony having nightmares and struggling and she just didnt give a fuck about it
There's also the part where he forces her to stay home despite declaring his house ground zero for a terrorist attack
@@dieAlbaKids yes it is his fault. him not talking to someone, not even telling Pepper, means hes keeping it all in. if he designs a suit to come to him when hes distressed and hes distressed in his sleep bc he won't tell anyone what he went through then it is in fact his fault. Virginia can only react with the information given to her. If he doesn't tell her, she doesn't know. She can't support something she doesn't know is going on.

@@sersastark She literally saw him in pain in his sleep. She knows what he has done, how much of a burden he has on his shoulders to protect this planet and that it almost cost his life. I mean the entire 2nd movie, Tony was dying from the reactor in his chest. I can see why he wants it removed. Also don’t forget, it was keeping the shrapnel fragments from killing him at the same time. So there’s that too. So it was wise to remove them at the same time.
Sadly a side effect of the regenerative powers was that sometimes the people randomly blew up, so it made sense they ‘cured’ Pepper.
Tony hid his PTSD symptoms from Pepper (and everyone else) so she didn’t know how bad off he was. From her perspective this was another one of his thoughtless experiments gone wrong. And she was woken up by being attacked in her own bed. I think her reaction was very understandable.
even if she knew, sleeping in another room makes sense after that. you cant be accidentally seen as something tony needs protecting from if your not in the same room.
You said that he might want to keep the reactor to live for longer but the only function that had was to power the magnet that was keeping the metal shrapnel from his heart. So there wasn't really anything else that it could do for him.
Pepper supports and loves Tony throughout this series. & she puts up with more than most women would and should esp since Tony routinely chooses to self destruct & internalize rather than tell her what he thinks and feels bc he feels it makes him appear weak. She is as supportive as she can be based on what she knows which is what he keeps telling her- that he’s fine.
After the epic high of The Avengers, the solo movies can feel like a step backwards. How does one top the amazing team up with an Iron Man solo adventure? So Marvel decides not to try to top Avengers, but instead continue the character exploration that was done in Iron Man 1 and 2. Tony is traumatized by his near death experience, and he manifests that with his obsession with being prepared. He's terrified that he is nothing without the suit, that the world will soon replace him with Iron Patriot, and, worst of all, that the Chitauri or Loki or whoever else is out there might kill Pepper next. So he starts building suit after suit for every possible scenario, shutting himself away from the one he loves most. Ironically in his drive to protect Pepper, he nearly pushed her away completely. But when the worst happens, and Tony is separated from the suit, he learns that he is more than the suit. He is resourceful, intelligent, and driven. He isn't the suit. He is Iron Man. And Iron Man is not the suit. Iron Man is Tony Stark. It's very well done.
The Mandarin twist gets a bit of criticism from some people, and I can understand why. After all, The Mandarin is nothing like this in the comics. But I like it a lot. Trevor Slattery is a foil for Tony. Tony is worried that he is just a nobody hiding behind the persona of Iron Man, but Trevor actually is a nobody hiding behind the role of The Mandarin. Once Tony sees how pathetic Trevor is, and more importantly, realizes that he is not that guy, he can complete his character growth and become the confident hero that he is once again. Plus, The Mandarin was originally conceived as a way to make a scary bad guy representing China during the Communist scares of the 1960s. There was no way Marvel could have done a faithful adaptation of the character in 2013 without everyone calling them racist.
I guess you could say that Tony learns from his mistakes-
learned from it so much that he made suits to go against every situation.
I dont think pepper was mad at him for having PTSD, she was mad that he rather make suits(that are now threatening her), than talk about it

Exceptional pace. These MCU edits are not a peace of cake. You've got a LONG way to go and you'll find the MCU just keeps getting more "fire."
The IronMan trilogies,Captain America and the Guardians were all fantastic.
I really miss the infinity saga days. There will never be anything like the magic and anticipation that they brought.

It didn't make him live forever. It made him live (buy keeping the shrapnel he got in the 1st move, from the bomb, out of his heart). Now he's getting the shrapnels out. So he doesn't need the arc reactor anymore.

You realize this is the exact premise for the pixar filmed incredibles. Like really think about it Tony met him a long time ago, hurt his feelings, which pushed him over the edge, and now hes a supervillian, currently what the upper hand and tony's temporarily trapped, it's literally the same start

pepper way more supportive than amber bro even tho she has her problems amber is just a walking L who only thought about herself until mark almost died. yeah ik she worked at the shelter or w.e they called it but i really disliked amber putting herself over mark protecting the world n even herself at times. i never understood ambers reasoning for mark not being around all time at least pepper has a understandable reason as she genuinely cares about tony

Tony isn't telling Pepper what's going on so she's not being unsupportive on purpose. He's not communicating what's wrong with him. he needs a therapist but his ego is still too strong for him to admit that he needs one so he tinkers instead of getting actual help. It's not her fault, and your comment on that is a wrongful assumption. She can't support what she doesn't know.
