Bump this so he can see it. SS3 was developed when he was dead. That transformation is kinda useless because it drains the user, it was ok to use it when he was dead but when he is alive it may cost him the fight. Remember when he fought kid buu? He thought he was powering up but all his energy was going away. Blue is just going super Saiyan but using god ki is not as draining.
But that's because he wasn't used to ssj3 I believe that now by the time he got used to it like ssjb, we were told about that in the resurrection of frieza saga and ssb drains him more than ssj3 because we saw it didn't drained him in the movies
@@itay1527during Resurrection F, Goku had more experience with godki than he did with SSJ3. During the buu saga he clearly states that ssj3 burns through his energy way too fast. He also mentions that SSJ3 was easier to use when he was in otherworld because that transformation doesn’t have that major con when dead

And in gt he never got drained from ssj3 because he got used to it and he stated himself that he isn't used to this form at the vs majin buu so it drained him fast like the case with golden frieza and frieza got used to his golden form in the TOP arc after some training
@@itay1527 I really dislike to be “that guy” but I’m pretty sure resurrection F, battle of gods, the broly movie, and super hero are considered canon to main storylines. All the movies before battle of gods technically aren’t part of the main storyline as they do fit in the timeline properly. I hate canon vs non canon retorts lol . I will say this though, you could very well be right because gotenks was able to use SSJ3 pretty effectively during the buu saga (effectively when he wasn’t fucking around too much lol) and if gotenks could use that transformation effectively then the same could be said about Goku

Blue is about perfect control, divine energy is a different kind of energy you can't compare God ki to normal ki. yes, super saiyan God consumes less energy than super saiyan God blue but that does not transfer over to super saiyan 3 which is fueled by different conditions all together.
ssg also has one other benefit, it doesn't cause ki drain and there's a healing factor

Became SSJ3 uses more Ki and Stamina than Blue does. Blue expends energy but it’s controlled. 3 is a massive burst of ki that can’t be changed
Using SSJ3 is like flipping the bucket straight over that's how fast it drains the power
only in the anime, in the manga blue consumes lots of stamina, that's why they developed ssj blue perfected

Only reason why super saiyan 3 takes more energy is its a form you physically cannot attain, Goku only got super saiyan 3 cause he was training while he was dead. I think Gotenks has it cause its a fusion or smth. But overall it takes more energy cause its not something yu can just use like that while you're alive

No you can def attain the form when you’re alive 😭😭 what it was is that it’s easier to use when you’re dead because your body is much more durable. With the correct training Goku could’ve mastered it but they just haven’t so it’s safe to say the form is too unstable to maintain. Divine energy is all about retaining the ki within you while super saiyan transformations. Vegeta could easily attain it while alive and probably gohan as well.

Just came to me. The reason why Goku goes BLUE more that RED aka god. Is because: god mode requires God Ki and a peaceful mind, it's easier to go Blue aka god plus SSJ is because he's usually angry, god requires peace of mind. It's why u'll only see it against people Goku loves fighting. Cus he's not angry
so in theory, in the dragon ball super animes possible continuation, we may see ssg, because ui (which he has mastered and now can go mui at will in the manga) requires peace tranquility and calm of the mind, intresting to think about.
Goku doesn't use God Red because he got it unnaturally. 😅
Have to remember, there is energy, divine energy and stamina (by all their convos in the show). SSG and SSB use divine energy and energy. Higher stages drain it faster than lower stages, and all use stamina to.

It's like this Base Goku Transforms into SSJ. Similarly think of SSG (Red) as Base form and then Goku goes Super Saiyan of this form basically ascends past SSG(Red) which is called Super Saiyan Blue.

SSJ Blue God is a God form. I get you like the red though lol. SSJ Blue is far more powerful though. SSJ Blue is just SSJ God Red with (regular) SSJ stacked on top of it so it turns SSJ God Blue! It’s the Super Saiyan version of his Red God form. It’s stronger but uses more energy, just like SSJ 1 uses less energy than SSJ2. It’s still a God form but it’s not as powerful as Blue which is God but just SSJ stacked on Red. You will likely see SSJ God Red again

Whis was making the comparison of god ki draining more with blue than super saiyan god. Blue does drain god ki, but ssj3 isnt god ki, so its a lot harder for goku to control ssj3 considering that he achieved the form when he was dead in the buu saga. He said his alive body cant contain the form long enough compared to his dead body. But since blue is divine ki, i assume its more controlable than regular ki, which explains why he can contain blue longer.
(*whispers* But also the animators find it hard to draw ssj3 in a fight due to the long hair. Which is why you dont see ssj3 often and instead you see a lot of ssj1, 2, god, blue. Or in this case a lot of blue)

So the technique Goku used where he switched to blue at the point of attack is something he did in the manga against Hit and what Vegeta did against Black in the manga as well.
also the only reason we see him use blue so many times is because u have to look at the circumstances of each battle/ark.
In almost every arc he had been brought to the edge of his limits when trying to defeat most of his enemies or save earth. the only time he has "fun" in a battle is with the first battle with berrus (ssj3), then obtained god ki to save his planet. u6 vs u7 when he was having fun against frost (ssj). When he first meets zamasu (ssj2). and then again which you saw recently him vs gohan (ssj2).
If I remember right super saiyan 3 take a different type of energy that energy is not as easy to get back and drains faster. So it will be easier to just skip using super saiyan 3.

During the buu saga Goku couldn’t stay in the transformation and build up his ki because it was draining too fast despite the fact that he was idling by as vegeta was stalling buu to make time for Goku
Deity power ups are pure energy forms and will consume far less energy if mastered and since goku uses SSB a lot he has adapted to it and hence can sustain the form much longer whereas SSJ3 is effective while he is dead since he learned it while dead and being alive it consumes the most energy

Super saiyan blue is basically an upgrade/step beyond of Super saiyan God. Because the original name for Super saiyan blue is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Basically its a Super saiyan god that’s turned super saiyan. Because Super saiyan god as you know wasn’t obtained through rage, but the ritual that gave him god Ki. And he added super saiyan on top of it which gave birth to Super Saiyan blue. And its very similar to how Super saiyan 4 is obtained
1,2,3 sayan just variables of super, God all that with increased speed and stamina, blue all that with increase to all power points ,slight hit to stamina.

Super saiyan: a form which a saiyan can attain through intense emotion. This also have a few variations to it such as Ssj (super saiyan) grade 1 and grade 2. Remember What Caulifla did in one of the previous episodes where she buffed up? That was super saiyan grade 2 (or was it 3 i don't remember fully)
Then comes Super Saiyan 2, a form which a saiyan can achieve through more regorious training and even more intense emotion. But to somone like Caulifla it became as natural because she had all the cualifications to transform into one but hasn't just tried cuz she didn't know until cabba showed her.
Now super saiyan 3 though, is on a whole other level of intense consentration and emotional burst. It's a form which Goku achieved through very rigorous traning while he was dead. And let me tell you something, he could only achieve it BECAUSE he was dead because then he could put his body through intense pain and not die -obviously because he was dead already-. Even though he achieved it though, he couldn't maintain it for long aswell as he hasn't mastered the form at all because, before he could put his mind into start training it and be able to tap into it like ssj 2 or ssj, all the shinanigans of the Beerus saga started. He got tangled with super saiyan god and stuff and once he got a taste of god ki he stopped nurturing and training his normal forms and started improving on his god forms.
Now i won't get into Super saiyan 4 because that's GT and this is super
Now onto super saiyan god (SSJG), super saiyan god is actually just a normal super saiyan but with god ki and thus it's name. Imagine like this: goku, in his normal forms, has improved up until SSJ 3 and hasn't even mastered SSJ 3 yet cuz he already started going the God ki route. And in his God Ki route he has improved until Super Saiyan Blue which is just normal ki combined with God Ki.

You need to think of ssj3 not that it uses more energy that blue, just that it WASTES more energy. Blue is about energy control, ssj3 just gives him an insane spike in energy but there's no faucet. It just pours.
The reason why Goku switch from Super Saiyan God to Super Saiyan blue is because he needed Super Saiyan God for the speed and then switch the Super Saiyan blue for the strength

The main thing you have to remember is that SSJ forms use Ki energy, but God uses divine energy, and using SSJ Blue uses both
goku's god transformations use god ki which is different from regular type of ki. So god transformations don't drain more ki, they just drain a different type of ki, hence why it makes sense that super saiyan 3 drains the most out of goku.

He doesn't use god for the beginning of the Tournament, and uses blue more, cause he needed the sudden Power Blue provides, but he doesn't stay in that form long, also god was not strong enough to handle Kale heck even blue wasn't good enough.

3 takes up more Ki in general than Blue, but Blue also uses God Ki, which is far stronger than regular ki. Think of it basically as 2 seperate fuel types.
I do think one of the best things Goku made as a move is he uses Super Saiyan God for Speed and as soon as he punches he goes blue for the Power.

Angles are stronger than the gods, so they can see what gods cannot. Zeno couldn't see because, despite being the strongest beings, they have no fighting ability. They don't have the skill to keep track with high speeds

Goku uses ssj Blue for strength even if it does drain more energy he uses it for a good reason, and he uses God for speed and it drains less
Its kind of situational on which super saiyan he'll use. Like with this, God is fast enough to keep up so use that to save energy and flicker blue on just long enough for the boost when needed. This won't expend as much of Gokus overall energy reserves to last longer in the tournament. If he ran around in blue all the time he would be gassed. So he just uses the proportionate level of transformation to fight the enemy. Super Saiyan uses the least energy to fuel but is the slowest and weakest. God is more taxing than SS but is faster and stronger. Blue is more taxing than God but is faster and stronger. It's like using a nuke to swat a fly, a bit overkill and a waste of energy.

when it comes to the destroyers there’s a manga exclusive moment that happened instead of the anime zen exhibition where all 12 gods of destruction fight each other and (because goku set up the whole thing) all the 11 gods single out beerus and attack him at once
thing is he not only dodges the attacks but keeps up with 11 gods until it eventually turns into a free for all
