Not going to add to all the comments about bad writing and misspellings. My problem is the premise. No FTL means months simply going from one planet to the next just in their home system. Yet the "writer" is saying there is already a galactic confederation. That can't happen without FTL travel and communication. Whomever came up with this "idea" doesn't know what a lightyear is and the huge barrier it represents. Sure, syfy is fiction requiring a suspension of disbelief but it still has to have a premise that makes some kind of sense. Try again guys.

While wormholes are possible, they take up huge amunts energies, comparable to a sun I heard it mentioned by Stephen Hawking one time. FtL is yet to be found in nature with the exception of quarks. These are sourced from light itself, I think.i remember reading somewhere. I f this story was authored from AI it is much better constructed than some of the other stories from this channel. There are literary phrases herein that would belie that being the source. There were even spelling mistakes that would allude a spell checker in the script. The plot is much more tricky than the prior attempts, but still has a similar thematic. Nice illustration.

Yeah, i don't get that either... First, the confederation tracked them after a jump in FTL, a bunch of ships arrived at their trap in FTL, then everybody have xenite reactors. FTL rounds? What's that??? In the begining there was a misterious bilionaire that was never mentioned again. The Zeton Empire, who covered their escape with the promisse of share tecnologies was forgotten the moment they discovered the xenite thing... WUT???
I would "fix" this story by the Confederation monopolising their own FTL drive. The new invention function on different principles and are better. It is also possible that the Confederation use a system of Stargates to move their ships.

@@michaelpettersson4919 On that note, I later realized that without FTL (if no one has, as stated in the story), there is NO confederation! Without a mean to fast travel to other solar systems, much less other galaxys, there's no point in establishing a central government. One civilisation would not be aware of the others!
How would these aliens even meet or talk to each other without FTL and why would the humans even outlaw the impossible? Just doesn't make sense

It’s a freaking sci-fi story. What did you expect? All of that you mentioned is a 1000 times more believable then FTL. But scientists becoming generals is where you draw the line 😂😂 And I even gave you a example of that happening in real life. But not in a story of 90 minutes where you have to cramp everything together.

100th time my fingers flying over the keys: Another unlogical point in the story is when the rebells split to deal with prometheus bane and Zakar. Wtf, why not use Zakar? Zakar wants the federation death, so why not leaking the info about promnetheus bane to Zakar. Whtever Zakar did at that point, he would too understand that destroying that weapon that could destroy a whole planet system, would be the most urgend danger to focus on. So instead of splitting the rebell forces to fight a two sided battle you could have used Zakars forces to straight attack the federations core and the prometheus bane. Leaking that information to them would make them headless attack the federation, probably ending Zakar and his troops and causing a huge damage to the federation, which then could have been used by the allies to finish it off.
The ai is very inconsistent you need to remind it where the actors are located, in one passage, the actors are in the council chambers, the prometheus AND the commanders vessel...

This story needs to be rewritten. Would make sense that The beings in this story should use a warp gate.to travel to another warp gate. But FTL means you can travel anywhere.

Ahh, the trouble with AI assisted/written fiction: consistency. Since anything that's currently called AI lacks any actual understanding of anything being written about, what gets written is an inordinate amount of clichés glued together it an unimaginative and repetitive narrative with all the characters having the depth of a puddle.
At best, these stories are less imaginative than a Harlequin romance....but with many, many, many, many more clichés.

@@brian770 No. Not really. FTL is just that... faster than light travel. Its how you get from system a to b faster than light from its star can make it. Method to acheive this via warp, folding space, wormholes, hyperspace, mass effect, etc... means nothing. It is ALL FTL.

Seriously, get someone to proofread your subtitles. It's "Paced", not "Paste", and that's just one of more than a dozen errors I spotted. And that's just the spelling.
1: How did the Galactic Confederation find out about the FTL ship without FTL of their own?
2: If they somehow had FTL communication but not travel, they still would have had to GET to the system, which is light years from the nearest other star, so it would have taken them years to get there, not only a few hours.
3: The Zeitans should have insisted on representatives coming with the human ship with supplies, a portable power generator, and whatever else they could pack on board in a hurry.

This sounds Perry Rhodan`ish. Don't get me wrong it is a good story and fun to listen to, but that Storytelling seems shortened on many occasions and the ever increasing stakes are typical for a Perry Rhodan Story
