I seriously doubt that seeing pretty people on screen is a sound long term self esteem strategy.
Lots of women feel they aren't pretty. I've spent more than 20 years convincing my wife that I find her attractive, and she is only now starting to believe me...a little.
There is a lid for every pot. I've seen men and women so ugly they made me wince find each other and become deliriously happy.
I wasn't much of a prize myself, but I've been happily married since 2002.
If you're one of those folks that doesn't want to be tied down, it's even easier to find a lid to your pot for a single night, though I believe that is also a bad long term self esteem building strategy.
We're I in your shoes, I'd limit my time thinking about how attractive I think other people are and go look for my lid.
That's what I did in the 90's and it has paid off. Now all I have to do is try to stay attractive to the one person who matters. I believe my success has been limited, though she swears I'm still hot. What a kind, lying woman : )

This should not be treated as a joke, even if the ones who put out the call claim it was one. The relevant historical precedent here is "will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" (Look it up if you're not familiar with the quote and what happened as a result.) This should absolutely be taken as a serious assassination threat and handled as such by law enforcement.

And a few other people participated in it too, the streamer was a big one that added to it, but we also had a couple of journalists and I use that term loosely talk about adding to it as well. The wanted poster started as a cheeky response to that first guy, but we've had to all kind of edit and add to it because they keep upping the bounty on it.
Just for anyone overseas to understand, we have federal laws that protect against putting bounties out on people, meaning that it's illegal throughout the entire country and not just a state. These laws came into effect around the time that we had a problem with the mafia and prohibition in our countries, so, nineteen twenties. They are old laws! It was mostly because mafia people were trying to intimidate and threaten people from the prosecutor's office and jury members when they were getting tried for doing things.

One day an activist took that outcry "for someone to do something" to heart and decided to act. On 18:05 local time Pim Foruyn was struck by 5 bullets killing him on the spot.
In 2023 in the last campaign an extreme right winged politician also got attacked on two occasion where people slapped him on his head with a umbrella and a beer bottle and media immediately pointed out to what happened to Pim Foruyn.

The way this works is first calling for hits on people you don’t like gets normalized, then eventually someone actually attempts / does it because so many people called for it.
