I think we as Christians get a lot of things confused. Vision boards aren’t demonic. The Lord says that you should have the desires of our heart if it is according to his will. Yes we can make a vision board because it is good to have goals whether that’s financial especially if it helps his kingdom and you are using it in the right way, receiving the car, or getting married. Most of the things are not worldly because a lot of these things are talked about in the Bible. The lord gives you the ability to produce wealth. If you have a car on your vision board that’s great you can use the car to help others or drive to church. In conclusion, it’s bad to do a vision board it’s just depends on how you use it and if you add prayer to it.
Some of us also forget that the vision the Lord gives is for an appointed time which is not only illustrated in the passage referenced but also other places in the bible as a thread throughout.

I hope any Christian that clicks on this video will study to show yourself approved and consider - First, it's important to clarify that while Habakkuk 2:2 is indeed a specific instruction given to the prophet Habakkuk, the principle behind it-writing down the vision-can be applied more broadly to the Christian life. The Bible often provides specific instructions that also embody general principles applicable to all believers. 1. Habakkuk 2:2 in Context: Habakkuk 2:2 says, "Then the LORD answered me and said, 'Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run.'" This verse encourages the recording of visions or revelations from God, making them clear and actionable. While the immediate context is specific to Habakkuk, the principle of documenting God-given visions or goals applies more broadly to our faith journey. 2. The Power of Writing Down God's Promises: The Bible speaks about the importance of keeping God’s words and promises before us. ~Deuteronomy 6:6-9: "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." This passage shows the importance of visually displaying God's words and promises. Vision boards can be a modern-day application of this principle, helping believers keep God's promises and their goals at the forefront of their minds. ~Proverbs 16:3: "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established." Writing down your vision or goals, which you commit to the Lord, is a way of establishing them, aligning your plans with God's will. ~Proverbs 13:22: "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous." This verse speaks to the importance of leaving a legacy or inheritance for future generations. A vision board can be part of planning and praying over the goals and values you want to pass on to your descendants. 3. Faith and Vision: ~Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Faith involves believing in what we do not yet see. Vision boards can serve as a tangible reminder of our faith in God’s promises and the hopes He has placed in our hearts. ~Proverbs 29:18: "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." This proverb highlights the importance of vision for guiding people’s lives. A vision board helps keep that vision clear and before you, contributing to a purposeful and faith-driven life. 4. Visualization and Faith: ~Genesis 15:5: "And He took him outside and said, 'Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.' And He said to him, 'So shall your descendants be.'" God used a visual representation (the stars) to help Abraham understand and believe in the promise of countless descendants. Similarly, a vision board can serve as a visual reminder of God’s promises and your faith-driven goals. While Habakkuk 2:2 was directed at the prophet in a specific context, the biblical principles of recording, visualizing, and holding onto God’s promises are timeless. Vision boards can be a powerful tool for modern Christians to keep their focus on God’s plans for their lives, reinforcing their faith in His promises, and even planning for the legacy they will leave for future generations. Final thought- it is imperative that we completely understand and interpret scripture- the LOVE of money is the root of all evil- Not the acquisition and wise stewardship of money. The scripture also states if a man doesn’t work he doesn’t eat. Again- not the acquisition or wise stewardship.
Amen, what you posted is what I commented. when people read the Bible and say oh no, I can’t do this. I can’t do that. Oh well this says this. The Lord wants us to be able to get what we desire. And also, he said don’t be anxious, but pray about anything meaning that we can pray about whatever you want. He would tell us if that’s what we need right now or if we don’t need that. The Lord gives us a ability to produce wealth just like you said, and the Lord wants us to make money, he blessed us with certain jobs so we’re able to provide for our family. Now yes if idolize that job or that relationship he will take it away so we have to make sure that we always include him in the center. It’s not like he’s going to get mad if you work but to make sure that we are thanking him for giving us that ability to go to work. Now yes in the Bible it says don’t boast about tomorrow which doesn’t mean don’t plan for it that’s the difference. You can plan for your future now doesn’t mean that it may always end up that way, but he does say don’t overconfidently brag about it. You can say yes, I want to see if itll happen to me, but don’t just keep bragging and being proud because the Lord will see that and take that away. Example someone saying that I won the lottery. I know the ticket that I got was the winning ticket. Im about to quit my job telling all your friends and family that you won but then guess what you didn’t win now look at you. That’s what that scripture mean because you don’t know if you win or you didn’t but just have faith
And this is why we have to read it for ourselves because a lot of times listen to other people and go based off what they say. And that’s how I used to be listening to the preacher and once I read for myself I’m like okaay

No no no no.... It requires self discipline, self control and consistent. I make time with God. Time for myself I deal with my goals. As The book of Ecclesiastes says there is time for everything.
Thank you bringing this out; The New Age/New Thought teachings has infiltrated the church; this type of teaching sounds like the Gospel but it is not; it's very deceiving; Matt 24:24 is about False Teachers and how the very elect will be deceived.
I can attest to this! Although in my experience it wasn't exactly a vision board, it served the same purpose. I had purchased a planner for the year 2020. I would write down things that needed to be done for the day and goals I was trying to reach by the end of the week/month on my phones notepad, but like every other note, it would eventually get lost in the mix. The planner I purchased in 2020 was my first actual one because I wanted to do something different and hold myself accountable in reaching weekly goals & figured I can achieve them better if it were physically written down instead of looking through my phone. Not too long after, we all saw how 2020 went so basically all plans came to a halt, & I had a lot of refocusing to do. Most definitely Gods way of telling me I was focused on the wrong things & the way God has been front & center & 1000% present in my life more so than ever, no human can convince me otherwise that law of attraction, manifestation & "throwing it out into the universe" isn't demonic. Those that get it, get it!
@@aca-scuseyou2043 lol I mentioned how I wanted to hold myself accountable, meaning I definitely couldn’t stick to my goal so you’re right about that ✅. But I’m not leaving God out of it, as he’s the reason in more ways than one, including that year, he’s changed me for the better. Stay blessed hun!
@@A_WomanofGod I meant leave God out of the excuses. It might not work for u which is fine but it can be a source of motivation for others. Again, without the manifestation ofc.
@@aca-scuseyou2043 I see what you mean. I’m not encouraging anyone to not ever have goals in general & don’t strive for them, have em, sure. Just like you mentioned, without the manifestation. Agree 100%. My overall gist was how yes we can have our goals & God will ultimately tell us what HIS plans and goals are for our life. Kind of like scrapping what we thought we were going to do and redirecting us in a new beginning path with something else. But I get it, I’m not trying to be a negative Nancy & have people feel like they shouldn’t bother, I’m just speaking for myself. When I mentioned God, I didn’t think I threw him in there with the excuses 😬. I gotta find a way to word myself better if it came off that way but I was definitely taking full accountability on why I flunked on my behalf and really gave all Glory to God for basically redirecting my focus. I was focused on ALL of the wrongs things that year. If people physically jot down their goals or not, God should always be center no matter what. I guess for lack of better words thats what I’m trying to say.
Vision Board is not a problem but what you put there. You can't tell me that writing my vision to remind me to preach daily, or read my Bible is wrong, Write the vision, make it plain. I think you should revise your understanding of vision board before making a video about.
@@magkids45 I use to use them since I was 12 years old so trust me I said the same thing. And I started asking God give me your plan and show me your vision. That was 4 years ago, he has lead me to way bigger better things then than I ever imagined and I’m no longer stressing over trying to manifest things that wasn’t meant to be. That was the wisest decision that I ever made and thank God everyday for free me from that. Because I would have never knew what would be on this side of life. ☺️Also how he comforted my heart is he told me what mean to be will be you don’t have to they to manifest them also you have God almighty in the inside you don’t need a board to communicate to him. He is right there if you have his Spirit 😂.
@@Jessplusjesus What were you putting on the board. It depends on what position you placed the board in your heart. I really do not use boards bc I write my stuff down but I fo not see any difference. I ace pictures on my refrigerator so, it has no attachment to me. But depending on the meaning of the board to you, God might have to ask you to stop using it. To me a board is like money, clothes, food, jbook, paper etc. ust something to use. I do not believe in the gospel of a board. You can write your goals any where. So it is not something I can waste spiritual energy on.
Sorry ma'am with all due respect, as you just said that tomorrow is now. Who focuses on the future that doesn't yet exist. Speaking for myself I plan today to prepare myself for tomorrow. Cause if i don't do now or today, I mustn't expect good cause I didn't prepare for it. Proverbs 29;18 says if they is no vision, people perish. And proverbs 12:24 says the hand of the diligent will rule( work hard to be a leader) But the lazy man will be put to forced labor (be lazy, become a slave). Things I do in this World I pray for it, ask for guidance and wisdom.
@MbaliTafu oh so thank you for your comment. The Vision still needs to be from God, not something that we plan on our own. The plan also has to be God leading you. Many times people go through the motions of life planning out their life without even consulting God. So I agree with all your proverbs and nothing is telling you to be lazy by any means. Because when God gives you his vision for you, you have to work his vision. There is wisdom in when Jesus Christ tells us to think not about tomorrow. He’s not saying tomorrow is oblivious, but he simply trying to get us to focus on the present moment. So he said that to benefit us. I’m a delivered over planner and I used to be obsessed with tomorrow and my plans for the future. It caused stress, anxiety and panic attacks. So it’s was freedom, giving it all to God and me not even having to worry about that stuff anymore. That’s when he started revealing greater purpose in my life that I had no idea of because I was too busy to listen. Now All I have to do is listen to him and be obedient to his voice. Taking it day by day!! 🙌🙌
You don't have to have a love of these things in order to want them. God wants us to have what is here. He wouldn't have put us in charge of the world if he didn't want us to own them. Of course we have to put God first. The thing is when we put our relationship with God first, good things come. That's a side effect. You can like items and make goals. That doesn't mean you aren't seeking God first. Having said that the law of attraction is the false version of the healthy side. The Bible says there is a counterfeit for every good and healthy thing. Because Satan can only mimick God. God is not a respecter of persons and wants all of us to be prophets. To hear him and walk in his visions for your life. God and his boards are all about today, letting God and then letting live. It's completely different then what your saying 😅

3. Faith and Vision:
~Hebrews 11:1: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Faith involves believing in what we do not yet see.
4. Visualization and Faith:
~Genesis 15:5: "And He took him outside and said, 'Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.' And He said to him, 'So shall your descendants be.'" God used a visual representation (the stars) to help Abraham understand and believe in the promise of countless descendants.
Again- not the acquisition or wise stewardship.
amen, sister.
@@tamanikas.7221 I made an updated video going over this scripture and showing My old vision board. Here it is! ua-cam.com/video/dJuO2QIeKdM/v-deo.htmlsi=LRQDXeoJa1o_SRD0

I thought just like you in 2015 but God dealt with me. 🫣the Bible is clear on this things. Please watch my updated video. I even added my old vision board to it. ua-cam.com/video/dJuO2QIeKdM/v-deo.htmlsi=LRQDXeoJa1o_SRD0

Hallelujah 🙌🏼💗☺️
If u can't stick to ur goals just say that hun. Leave God out of the mix
@@A_WomanofGod thanks for sharing your testimony. I totally get it sis!!
Good point sis’, not just that VB detached you from the Lord but it’s quite self-centered it’s all about me, me, me.❤
Vision Board is not a problem but what you put there. You can't tell me that writing my vision to remind me to preach daily, or read my Bible is wrong, Write the vision, make it plain. I think you should revise your understanding of vision board before making a video about.
@@magkids45 I use to use them since I was 12 years old so trust me I said the same thing. I seen nothing wrong with it and God told me to stop and let him show me his vision for my life stop trying to manifest my own. He lead me to that verse you repeated in habbakuk 2 he said READ m it all not just that part and I seen that habbakuk was a prophet that God told write the vision God told him. Not trying to manifest his own. And that scripture had nothing to do with vision boards 🤯🤯 I was blown away. And I let go of something I practice for over 15+ years.
