bruhh i literally did this exact thing at 18 yrs old except my plan was for when i turn 25 I wanted to have $100k in my account & be self employed, I got this plan from the book think & grow rich & i would read my plan every morning & every night before bed & i would literally act out how i would act if i was this person already in my head. I did this abt 4 months & then forgot abt the letter & was just living life doing the things i enjoy doing & one thing lead to another & i got put in a position to make a lot of money & at 20 yrs old I realized i had already accomplished my list. When ur resiliant & know what u want from life it’s crazy the way the universe opens up to you & just gives you everything you want so effortless

Before Kurt Cobain became successful, he used to write articles about himself as if he already had a number 1 album and a sold out world tour and practice giving answers to interview questions. It's in his Biography heavier than heaven. Coincidentally, the author of that book also goes by the name Charles.

@@dominikkurowski3145 I understand what you mean and I might say that that's because you don't actually believe you deserve those things you want. You may want them but you may unconsciously believe that you are ridiculous and silly for wanting those things, and probably there is no way that you are going to get them.
If this is happening to you, the problem then is actually you stopping yourself from achieving those things. How ? Let me explain. You may or may not be facing challenges that prove why this thing is not working, but that's what your mind choose to focus on based on your unconscious beliefs you developed due to past events and possibly when you were growing up. We always get, consciously or unconsciously, what we believe we deserve.
I'd say you should design the life that you want. Then make everything in your life a focal point. Start with small steps and completely forget all the big dreams until you achieve these small ones.
For example, if one of you goals was to lose weight, you would have to focus on losing 5 pounds instead of focusing on losing 50 pounds.
Challenge yourself for just 30 days and if you do everything or half the things you promised yourself in that 30 days challenge. Then give yourself the right to quit.
This will help you see yourself in the different light and due to the choice of either giving up or moving forward, you will be more likely encouraged to move forward. But if you don't choose to move forward, it's fine anyways. After all you proved to yourself that you could do it if you wanted to, right?

I have had the same experience in my life. I don't remember where I first got the idea, but I decided to make a numbered list of all the things I wanted to achieve. This was in 2008. I wrote things as if they were already a reality. I covered everything...my dream living conditions, monthly income, vehicles, relationship goals, etc. I was very focused on it for a short period, but then I tucked the list away in a drawer and forgot about it. About 4 or 5 years later, I was going through some boxes after a move and I found the list. Much like you, I had achieved the majority of the things I had listed. The strangest thing to me, is that I didn't focus on it daily, or do affirmations. I simply got a clear vision at the beginning, then moved on with life. My one piece of advice is to dream much bigger than you think possible. My only regret is that my goals were a bit more reserved than they should have been. I felt a loss of momentum once I achieved everything I had listed.

Update- wow thanks for the upvotes, if only a few. I just wanted to add my 5 cents worth here.
I’m not sure if Charlie has a video where he lays out a plan of doing a vision board or scripting but it’s easy to do. Add photos of things you are going to have and write down, in a journal or diary style, your life as you want it but in the present moment. Never say ‘ I will have’ and ‘ I want’. Always write things like ‘ I am’ and ‘now I have’. Peace to you all.

I had decided I was One of the premier stylist in the city. The owner of the first salon I worked in, Alvin, had gave me some keen advice. He said, "some times, Sugah, ya gotta fake to ya make it." I had created a mantra for myself, that I would recite (inwardly) I AM EVERYTHING I PRETEND TO BE!" I knew nothing of loa. I didn't learn of that until sometime later. But, needless to say I enjoyed that ROLE as one of the city's top premium hairstylist for quite a while. 😏😊🥰❤️

Then the treatment itself leaving you without an immune system or any quality of life. Trust me I know first hand my brother was a young leukemia patient for many years and then sepsis finally took him aged 16 thanks to a stomach infection his body couldn't fight because of years of chemo and blood transfusions. Surviving that would have left him disabled with no intestines so dying was the blessing at that point. That is such a treasure, Charlie, of being able to watch your journal-videos and kind of having those talks with you. With a person that already achieved everything I am willing to achieve.
I am sure you will get everything you desire in 2028, as I will. Thank you so much for yourself🤝

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 11 months ago about self development. Now I have 2,126 subs and > 2k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

What I really focus on is the value of the content and what I’m truly passionate about while helping others! I'm glad that I'm foolish enough to believe that I can actually start making money through my passions. I've never thought that I'd be able to gain more than 2k subs faster. I can't imagine how many opportunities could have been wasted if I didn't have courage to go after them. That includes having this channel, being in a management role, having the people who actually care about me for who I am, freelance gigs, being an ambassador in a creative community and now I'm also planning on honing my public speaking skills through joining a toastmaster club and these all happened in 2023. It started with writing them all down on a piece of paper. A paper that serves as a reminder for me to go after what I want even through hard times. I'm not bragging about my accomplishments but simply hoping that this message can also inspire others to believe in themselves.

Yes, it's true. I was not as creative as you but in 2018 I decided that I would own a flat without a mortgage and that this would happen in 2021. It happened in 2022. Years ago I had decided that I wanted to live on the continent (Europe) and not on an island (Malta). I now live in the Netherlands - which I love. There are more on the list that still need to actualize but getting there!

“The best way to offset anxiety and depression is trajectory”. Great quote. When we become complacent, that’s when our hunger starts to deteriorate, we become too comfortable for our own good. It takes balls to step out of it and start declaring what you actually want to do moving forward.
Right now I’m in the exact same spot as you were at 18. I’m 25 years old, very mediocre at what I do, never cared about socializing, spent too much time dealing with depression and anxiety. All of this happened until I reached a point where I came back with my family after studying and I literally have no friends, all I did was go to the gym (with very unhealthy eating habits).
Starting this year, I started to get rid of the distractions and unhealthiness, I stopped smoking, I started to eat better, I dropped out of my previous job that was killing my motivation. I started to visualize, who do I want to become? My dream has always been to live in the US. I’m a programmer and I decided to start going seriously. Once I’m in this mood I’m very very tryhard, and this is what I needed. I want to work for Apple. Nah, I WILL work for Apple, I WILL live in a premium department, I WILL live comfortably, I am socially well rounded person, I am disciplined, I look good, I eat good, I will live in the US, I will work at Apple.
    Everything will happen this year.
After that I have other plans, for now this is what I will achieve. I already have a plan for this.
I will be doing a vision board this Saturday, and I will describe exactly my morning routine once I live in the US, what kind of project I will be working on, how will I look, what will be my clothes, my accesories, where I want to live and how my apartment is going to look. How clean I will be, and what hobbies and activities I will have per week.

Charlie…I am seeing the same things. Your subconscious mind is well connected to itself and you.
I ended up being a pilot because I played a video game.
Then ended up becoming a hotel software company owner…making software for hotels all around the world at 50k per year on a 3 year contract up front…soon they will be paying 150k up front and asking for HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of hotels.
This time, it wasn’t a video game that my subconscious latched onto….
    IT was a FORTUNE TELLER!
She told my brother that he will have ok money, but one of his brothers will become SUPER rich…”something to do with software” she said…and my brain went with that and then a seemingly random chain of events took place and the brain said…
“Ah HAH! This is it! And EVERYTHING is green light…the whole pathway became clear..all I had to do was walk forward. The software seemed to design itself…just first principles thinking.
    Logic stacked on logic.
I had NO experience with hotels or software development or running business or anything.
But logic finds its own way…I’m just along for the ride.

and then started doing it in the best level possible. Also note: "..I'm no happier" Pursuing happiness is said to make sure you won't be. And when you compare money and all the material things to something like your own child calling you dad or mom, it's not even in the same axis, so make sure your goals are truly worthy to you.
