It happened, probably, 50 years ago. Together with two of my best girl friends from college, we decided to skip some classes, and went to see a movie. Near the railway station there were many cinemas. We browsed the posters and decided to pick Butch Cassedy and Sundence Kid, because of the two handsome actors' faces. I am not sure I understood the film, but I kept all my life the memory of the bicycle scene and the last one, the rubbery of the Bolivian bank. Delightful was also The Sting, which will become the emblem of my life. I am not sure if I liked Robert Redford because my boy friend looked like him, or I felt in love with my boy friend because he looked like Robert Redford.

I'm a graduate of USC Film class of 75. Way before the digital world. My Grandmother who lived to 100 years and almost saw 3 centuries, was a HUGE fan of Redford and urged me to get involved with the then just budding Sundance Instute. I stayed in Los Angeles until 1977 and moved to Miami Florida. I lost the chance at a film career but ended up producing, writing, working on commercials for over 30 years. Just retired from all that last year. I am a horsewoman. A writer. A lover of environmental preservation and an Arizona native who grew up learning about the Apache culture. I have a major affinity for Redford (and clearly his wife is very admirable) and although I've never met the man, and did eventually get to his resort in Utah, I dream of one day doing something that involves his talents and sensibilities. And mine. If not this life then maybe another. God Bless them both.
Hello, I often find the comments below a movie or interview (as this splendid one) is quite interesting...for all the things various ones express, etc. I found your comments esp interesting, i.e, what you have done and achieved & also your desire to find some way to work with Robert Redford and/or Billie (as she is called here.) For you to do that would be a great pleasure I know...it wd have to be, for all my life I have nothing but admiration for Mr Redford's great talents...as it is said of the late Bil Holden, so he too (Redford) never made a bad movie.It is even more than his acting career though. His amazing person...this man who has relentlessly strived to do all he can for our environment, he strives to keep on doing all he can to save this planet, all the time fighting all sorts who either are ignorant or they are more interested in money than the planet lasting in its splendor, beauty & usefulness. I simply cannot say enough about this fine American that is a treasure to us for about everything & anything he does. Whenever there is an interview or mention of R. Redford I want to hear what he has to say...he never speaks foolishly...and how I hope he and Billie will carry on in all they do, in the arts, also the fine causes they have spent their lives doing...Oh, how I hope they continue on for years, many years. As you know I am 1/2 Royal Seminole American Indian I am proud too have be born of my hertiage That my Royal God Of Royal Heaven In Royal Heaven blessed me with which is part of the reason I shall be bringing this forth in my lawsuit against Hillcroft Of Danbury here in Connecticut for harassment and other matters especially wanting too make me a pregnant women homeless at anytime for any reason. And they have none and this is obviously because they have no belief in the way of my Royal God Of Royal Heaven In Royal Heaven for holidays or any other time. Thank my Royal God Of Heaven I save all receipts and I take lots of pictures as they erased all information regarding my residency of apartment renting here in Connecticut. Wow...I don't agree with his politics but he for sure ain't a phony. He's the real deal. Even in most of his movies he had an intensity and grit about him. 😉🙏
